But you should never use Arcan Shot while youre Survival specced - only Explosive. You should also use Multishot and Steadyshot like i said in another comment 4 months ago.

I rock a hunter too tuxi on darkspear and what I really like doing on lal is explosive shot arcane explosive again my gear isn't great and it may not be the most optimal dps but seeing those crits is dirty. Nice vid. Make more.

Sorry but i think everyone knows that Agi is the most important stat as SV hunter.

And Currently its Black Arrow > Serpent Sting > Explosive Shot > Aimed- /MultiShot > Steady Shot.

When LnL procs it is better to

Explo - Steady -Explo - Steady - Explo

and then the normal rotation again. Because the Global Cooldown is 1,5sec. If u have enough haste Steady is also 1,5sec cast time. So you're not wasting any time wich you can spend with doing damage!

Explosion Shot[Always used when it have been refreshed] When u got lock and load by Black Arrow, wait until it have ticked finish but Aimed/Multi or other kind of shot after 1s +1s global=2s than pop Explo again, like a repeat of Cds From Black Arrow/DoT of Stings, Steady spam if skills is on Cd. [Sry for my bad english]

Correction Upper left is where ranged stands and lower right is where the bich gets tanked

Theres another way to do it without dancing in P1. U have those 4 corners on the non-slimey part of the room

The ranged stands on the upper right corner (where u enter the room) and the Melee and Tank at the lower left. It makes Safety Dance easyer and it should work if executed on the right way. Have fun and GL!

| Forgot to say, don't make a macro for your shot rotation! Don't be lazy and do it yourself. Also, for Survival Hunters, when Lock and Load procs, dont spam Explosive shot, wait til its finished ( because it blows 2 more time over 2 seconds on target.) all the advices I could give you

Being a good hunter is all about shot rotation and timing.

My shot rotation : Serpent sting , Black Arrow, Explosive Shot, Multi-Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot

I'm always in top DPS. Crit rating is important but focus on AP.

so i was gonna do the hunter with recruit a friend but i heard they got nerfed by the new patch..do they still but out mad dps?

Well, youre right - they were nerfed. But not that bad.

Actually i'm trying out Marksman and i am still one of the top Damage Dealers in my Guild.

After the last buff to the Ranged Weapons with an Itemlvl of 226 or higher (+30DPS) and the next buff to the Hunters mark (now 300AP and then 500) i would say a hunter is still viable in Raids.

You should start using MiksScrollingBattleText if you havent, SCT isnt supported anymore, MSBT has alot more spam control and fonts :)

Do you mean the box in the down-right side of the screen or the damage numbers over the boss?

1. Its the Damage Meter named "Recount"

2. Press ESC while ur in the game, click Interface and then Fighttext or Battletext. There you can mark the thing you want.

I don't have a specific rotation.

I use nearly the same Rotation like you but i also use Multi Shot.

Serpent > Explosive > Multi/Steady

Everytime the Cooldown is ready.
