  • Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! @ 00:13 is Brighton Beach station because that "AllHealth" sign on the right is still on that building!!! Hahaha

  • I love the R33 trains. I miss the Redbirds so badly. I didn't like what they did to the Redbirds. After 9/11 everything started changing. Before 9/11 everything was different. I miss the old times. I remeber when I was kid I used to ride the Redbirds in the Bronx during the 1990s. It was the 2, 4, 5 and 6 lines that had the Redbirds. BRING BACK THE REDBIRD SUBWAY TRAINS!

  • its funny the 1964 map called these cars BLUEBiRDS yet in memory they get lumped in with the plain jane mainline cars. The original paint was baked enamel as well.

  • Its not some Green Day stuff. Its the song " Unpredictable "

  • what song is this?

  • Good Riddance by Green Day

  • just pay 15 cents and you are on your way

  • I wish there was

a full set of R33/R36 World Fair cars. Man that would be nice.

  • @Wehategod there is, there just scattered all over town in the trasin yards, all they would need is a quick paint job for the W.F. color scheme. There's probly enough for two maybe three full sets out in all the yards in the city combined.

  • Yeah, and you can't forget those tokens.

  • That is funny!

  • OH YES new York in the early days

GOD DO I MISS THOSE TIMES

Subway token was 35cents then it went to 50cents after that 1.25

    then all shit broke loose

  • yep.. Good to see those cars, you spelled again wrong

  • since you know that have you noticed the 4 car train of R33/R36 still in the corona yard?

  • actually i saw the 7 line yard there is still 5 redbird cars. it felt good to see a redbird agien

  • The R36 cars first were delivered in 1964 in turqouise blue. They ran the 7 for some 39 years. Sadly more cars were scrapped early this year, sent to reefs in Delaware.

  • That was R33 firs car delivered.

  • Yes, 9306 in September 1963.
