IOW is quality for summer time but for winter sucks ass, no where to go, very limited and prices r fucking ridiculous to do anything, no jobs and ALOT of the people over here r WANKERS!!

I "Walked the Wight" today. Scenery is stunning! Love the Island! Would walk across it a 1,000 times more - if I could!

P.S. Lots of people took their dogs on "Walk the Wight" this time. It's TOO FAR for a dog to walk! Do NOT take your dog to walk the Wight. Dogs have no choice if you take them by the lead! It's cruel!

Dogs are short-sprinters, not long walkers! Please understand this! and don't drag your poor dogs across the island! Mine were happy to wait for me till I got back!

I love the island, I worked at the Albion hotel in the 70's and still have a very good friend who I worked with who is from Freshwater. I haved visited her the last few summers and can't wait to visit her again this summer

i lovelovelove the isle of wight, go there sometimes three times a year every year since I was 6 months old. Actually I think I went before I was born. Wish I could live on that beautiful island. I aspire to live on there one day.until then I will have to make do with it as a holiday destination. Loving east wight the best :D Seaview round to shanklin is the best =] Specially bembridge...no particular reason, I just like it ^^

I was born on the isle of wight and lived in Ventnor until I was 5. Then my parents brought me to Australia. Still love the isle of wight and still follow Ventnors nearest professional football club pompey!!!

Yeah October 1 is his birthday, Isle Of Wight born and bred like me. He is a carpenter too, I remember when he use to make me sleds to have fun on when it snowed in winter(We lived on a serious hill too!).I have lived in Australia since I was 5 but still remember the great times when I was very young. Gotta love the old man!!!
