right now I'm reading Foucault 's Madness and Civilization. He talks about Bosch marking an end to our culture's obsession with death and a beginning to its obsession with the fool. And I was somehow comparing this to Bach's ciaccona as a passion play and that being a dead language even in his time. And I know I was just boring my gf to tears. so... I don't know. maybe some vlogs about dada. or something.

what i do when it comes to writing essays i usually get stuck on the intro bc im not sure how to start it

so what i do is just start typing the body of the paper and once i get through some/most/all of the body then i go back and make the intro.

writing papers suck :p

I hate when they make essays worth so much. I had a Folklore class that was worth 50%; the final exam was only 20%.

I find the best thing to do when writing essays is to sum up all your arguments in point form, order them in decending importance, write the body of the essay, then add an introduction/thesis and conclusion in the end.
