Here's a question, all of you that hate this band, how did you get to this page in the first place? I don't make it a habit of listening to music i dont like. Save your breath, listen to whatever bullshit you like, it's not needed/wanted here. Imo, waking the cadaver has been one of my favorite bands for years. Since they were just another band on myspace and purevolume with a dream. Before they ever even had CDs. Everyones got their own opinion.

They have changed their style from prentenious garbage to decent brutal death with slam influences. You have got your history wrong however, Suffocation (90) started the 'breakdown' which led to (moreorless the same time) Internal Suffering (91) with the 'slam' then to the 'chugslam' of Devourment in 1995. All 'deathcore' followed this blueprint
