@twinkiewrangler He married her, had three children, saved her life, she cheated on him two short years later of him saving her, and she wants a divorce. O ya, he's a genuine ass-hole.
I've always wondered how he came up with a price for his kidney, since it is illegal to sell human organs in the US. Also, he is a doctor. If my doctor was this much of a nutjob in public, he wouldn't be my doctor for long.
exactly, he GAVE it to her, it's a girft. PLUS, their marriage was going to end and they BOTH are wrong b/c they BOTH used each other. He gave it to her to "save her life" thus she would be in debted to him and not leave him, which she did (and instead of leaving him out of guilt, she was stupid and cheated on him) she got what she needed and f'ed him. They both get what they get (we don't know what went on behind closed doors)
G,, that legal advisor sounds so personal ,, is she the wife ? she is over the top? no matter what the outcome of hearing ,, the wife is certainly not the winner.
I think she should pay. How can you live in somebody donated organ and not appreciate it. Also she must have collected a lot of child support from her organ donator. She can offer it. Regarding Sniffing panties If my husband sniffing my panties, I will think that no big deal, because we love each other. My guessing is that she already has someone else, therefore she that is disgusting. Poor doctor, I hope he will find a good woman later soon. There are still some good women out there.
The kidney donated was "priceless". The cost to transplant the kidney is not. If this man is not elgible to be compensated for his "donated" kidney, perhaps he should be awarded the cost of the operation.
Who came up with this no fault divorce mess? Probably cheaters. I think if somebody cheats during a marriage they definitely should get very little or no alimony or palimony. I think only the corrupt who are cheaters or want to leave the door open to cheat think otherwise.
I could say a lot of mean and nasty things about a woman of no good morals like that man's wife but the truth is probably that he had some inkling of her atrocious character before he married her or at least before he gave her his kidney. This situation is the epitome of why folks should really be careful about who they get involved with. If you have any doubts about your mate, ditch them early on. Otherwise, you might end up like this poor guy who was made a sucker or fool of. Sad. I feel for him
Wow, he gives his wife a kidney and she cheats on him, and media is making him look like the jerk. If the genders were reversed, women would be damanding she rip the kidney out of him and still get the 1.5 million because 'the pig cheated'
This is a warning for men: Marriage has nothing to offer you anymore, the courts are against you to give the woman your money and the kids, and leave you with nothing.
It is HIS kidney, with his DNA, it is alive, just like he is. If he gives himself as a gift, his whole person to someone, should they be entitled to keep him? Isn't that what one would call slavery? His kidney, that part of him is enslaved if she keeps it. Slavery was outlawed in the United States!
I've donated blood platelets every month for the last 10 years. I'm not a slave. You seem to think that because he donated a kidney to her, she should be his slave. He is trying to get alimony reduced because he gave an organ. Removing HER kidney would cause her death and put the surgeon on death row. I realize she was a horrible person. Evidently she's been that way her entire life. He should have just kept his kidney. She owes him nothing. The people with my blood platelets owe me nothing.
Why should HE pay alimony at all? women are not entitled to money just because they're married. Though this entitlement is probably why women initiate 80% of divorces.
What if he calls off the 1.5 million and just has her pay him the alimony for saving her life at the expense of his own shortend life span?
Alimony was paid to women who were housewives. Women whose only job was being barefoot and pregnant. She doesn't deserve any more than she needs to survive. I'm not defending her. I'm saying that a donation is not a sale. The video says that it is illegal to sell organs. They should not have been granted a divorce. These two idiots should be forced to spend every day of their lives together to protect the rest of humanity from them both.
You might not realize this, but blood platelets don't possess DNA, the genetic material that defines YOU. His kidney has his DNA, it's him, not her, HIM. A part of him is doing work for her, it is filtering urine. Just like if his arm poured coffee for her, or picked cotton. A part of him is enslaved. I noticed that you tried turning it around, as if I claimed she should be his slave. I did no such thing, if you notice I said, a part of him was her slave.
DNA is in every platelet. As for the slave thing. You're saying that his kidney is her slave? Or his DNA is her slave? I guess organ donation should be illegal then. You know, because it condones slavery.
Please brush up on your biochemical knowledge, meweave, platelets are former cell fragments, and such do not possess nuclear nor plasmid DNA, they are not alive. Their composition is not unique to you, therefore, they cannot be identified as being you. Whereas the kidney is his, because it's live tissue that has his DNA that's enslaved under her. You didn't answer my question: If he says his arm is hers as a gift, does that entitle her to claim that in court?
My source that platelets have no DNA is 3 years of formal collegiate biology education. As for a cited source that aligns with my point of view, look up Meinrad Gawaz, they wrote a book solely dedicated to blood platelets. You've given me no source, meweave, other than this condescending "you are wrong I am right" tone.
Platelets contain mitochondrial DNA. You should know this. I thought your "if he gave her an arm" question was a joke. This squabbling about who owns the kidney is futile. It's keeping her alive. If the arm were attached to her, it should be hers. If I give my kidney to my older brother with type 1 diabetes, does that make me his slave if he acts in a way I disagree with? BTW, it's hard to take a guy who calls himself PoopShitMario seriously.
Are you familiar with the endosymbiotic theory? Mitochondria are basically prokaryotic in nature, both metabolically and structurally. Their DNA, ribosomes, everything is prokaryotic. Their DNA is not your DNA in the nucleus that codes for your proteins, and has certain genes that are on and off, etc. For the purpose of this debate, I think it's better to treat mitochondrial (or chloroplast) DNA as basically the same as viral or phage DNA that can float around due to everything we got sick with.
I really think you just gave the platelet example to try and be difficult, rather than as a valid point. I think "live tissue that has DNA coding for every cell in another person's body" is more valid as a framework for explaining why the kidney can still be identified as being that other person.
If I sew somebody's gold watch into myself, that doesn't make it mine or a part of me. A kidney is quite a bit more personal and sentimental than a gold watch, don't you agree?
I agree. The kidney is part of her now. It's connected with her cells and he cannot have it back. You said he does not want it back, but he wants something in return for it. I've already said that she is a horrible person for treating him so badly. However, giving someone a kidney, platelets, or whole blood does not mean you are entitled to run there lives. You donate to give life, ubconditionally. No?
I realize he could be some jerk who just gave the kidney for leverage in marriage, because he saw it breaking apart. That wouldn't warrant much respect, in my eyes. That doesn't seem to be the case from what I've read though. He probably started acting like a wussy, and she fell out of love with him, and he was still attracted to her. Bad position to be in, which is why I'm against marriage.
I've heard on other news stories that she's gotten kidneys from her father and brother. My brother is a type one diabetic. His iron level has dropped from 45 to 35. This may be because his kidneys are failing. If so, I'll be donating one of mine. He'll have to get a pancrease from a cadaber and undergo a double. I've seen many diabetics who were on their death beds saved by siblings. All I'd ask from my brother is nothing. Not more love. Not devotion. Nothing.
Frankly, I'd think it a little weird, if you expected your brother to not cheat, don't you? lol. Or if you were in the same type of situation with him as this guy was with his wife :P.
As I've already said, I'd keep both kidneys, because kidney disorders run in my family. I don't think it's selfish, I'm just trying to stay alive and prepare for one of them failing.
So, she shouldn't cheat because he gave her a kidney? I thought a ring was used to "tie the knot." Only spouses are allowed to demand obedience in return for parts, I guess, eh? Maybe I can make my brother mow the yard and pull weeds for me. You really should keep your kidneys. You're emotionally attached to them in a rather strange way, Poop Shit Mario.
Well, no one should cheat, it violates the marriage contract and it's immoral...then again, I'm kinda against marriage, as I already said. If you make your brother mow the yard and pull weeds for you, he will probably tell you to go screw yourself. Why do you insist on trying to turn it around as if I condone servitude? I think keeping kidneys for health reasons is more important than any form of emotional attachment, by the way. Google "living with one kidney".
And meweave, dear, I don't think he wants to run her life, he just wants compensation. On the topic of giving organs, I wouldn't give my kidney to anyone. I've already made the mistake of saying my whole body belonged to someone else during a relationship, it's a pretty awkward position to be in if they ask for my body after it ends, isn't it now? :P
Anyway, I'd much appreciate it if you read all my comments, I know I wrote a lot, but whatever.
I also meant it's sentimental to him, seeing as how it was a part of him for many more years than it was a part of her, and there's his genetic material too...again, a civil case incline here. She could make argument too, but it would play heavily on the jury's pity. It's weird, because he's in sort of a parent-like position, seeing as how she wouldn't be capable of working without him. He, in a way, made her, kind of like parents make kids.
One last thing I neglected to mention, even though there's already the not being biologically unique argument against platelets and blood. You can make more platelets or blood, but you can't make another kidney.
Again, I will give an example of a relationship with an ex girlfriend, Chiffon56. I told her I'm hers, my whole body (and she said the same to me), now, does that mean she should get all of my organs, and have control over my life? I mean it IS a gift, right?
So, Poop Shit, with your family history of kidney disease, it's very likely that you will be in need of a donor someday. If I offer up a match, what will you give me?
You're kinda old, I think by the time I need a kidney, you'll probably be living out your last days in a nursing home. What could you possibly need from me while you're doing that?

PoopShit(Criminey, what a name!): You didn't actually, literally GIVE her an organ (well, maybe your penis, once in awhile). Once the kidney's in the girlfriend's/wife's body, I say it's HERS... I devoted years of my life to a guy, once, and he ended up being a real jerk. Those years were as precious to me as a body part, but I was shit out of luck. Those years were gone. That time was lost. That's just the way life is. Sometimes life sucks. You learn from your mistakes and move on.
If you've read my previous posts, I already said that this youtube alias is part of an inside joke. Again going back to the gold watch example, she can take it and sew it into her body, but that doesn't make it hers, same with the kidney. Well...we both said that our bodies were each others forever, I'm sure this happens with a lot of couples, but it doesn't mean that she can march into my life and demand my dick via this "verbal contract", because I am not attracted to her anymore.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
PoopShit: Did the guy tell the woman that she was just "borrowing" the kidney? If so, then yes, indeed, he should get it back. But I believe that the kidney was "given" to the woman, not loaned out to her.
Chiffon56, I didn't tell my ex she was borrowing my body, I said it was hers forever, but that doesn't entitle her to have it right now. Couples don't use the word "lend", they use "give", as you might or might not have noticed. I think, with body parts, it's implied that you get an "out" if shit hits the fan. Kidney falls under that category. Since removing it is unethical, then he should at least be compensated.
Poop Mario Shit, you've made yourself the topic of this thread. Your figurative body and soul seem to have a lot of baggage attached -- a tumor-- that caused your heart to break. These are the kinds of wounds that heal with separation, and distance. Cry on your pillown not YouTube. Go to a strip club. Go get laid, or drunk, or both, Poop Shit Beethoven.
Lol, well HrudyE, I kinda already did that minus the strip club. I don't believe in paying for sex or strippers. Any baggage from any of my past relationships is gone, by the way, but I do feel compassion towards this guy. One of my exes has a brain tumor, what are you trying to do, pull John Edwards here? hah
You can have one of my children's kidneys. I gave them my DNA, so I can demand this from them. In exchange, you can wash the windows of my mansion when I'm old and barricaded in like Howard Hughes. That day will come. I'll be counting the minutes on the cheap Timex i keistered, that my girlfriend gave me for xmas. We were very close. I'll leave it to you in my will. Have your people call my people. Ciao.
I have two perfectly healthy kidneys, all the people in my family who exhibited kidney disease started showing signs early in life. Since that hasn't happened to me, I think it's a good bet that I have not inherited the same gene. I do think it's better to have a history of kidney disease in one's family, than of tendency towards schizophrenic fantasies, like you. Your children's kidney tissue does not contain your DNA in the nuclei, and it was grown by their body...if you even have children.
Technically, it makes a part of you his slave, but not your whole, consider it like on plantations when some slaves were given easier jobs with more freedom. I think if your kidney is obligated to work for him, then he should at least be morally obligated to show respect. This is what I would try to make a civil case out of, if I were in this guy's place, and perhaps he will do just that. He does not seem particularly bright though, for a doctor.
By the way, Poop Shit Mario was part of an inside joke I had with a few friends. Instead of that you should judge me based videos of myself I've put up instead. :p
That said, I understand your point of view. I don't agree with it, because of a fundamental difference in my belief of what quantifies someone's "person". I don't expect you to understand my point of view though, but I know I've done my best to give a different take on the situation, if you choose to be receptive and open to it.
Continuing on: If he says his arm is hers, does that mean she is entitled to own a part of his body? Just because it's a gift? Certain things still belong to a person and ARE them, like LIVE tissue with their DNA.
Also, I don't know if you've gathered this from the story, but he said he does not actually want the kidney back, he just wants acknowledgement of what he did for her, compensation for emotional distress, and ability to see his kids (which she has denied him).
She can just say "if you try coming close to the kids, I'll call the cops on you and tell them you're assaulting me". This works often enough, as the authorities immediately side with the woman, even if the situation has not been presented in court yet.
Hey, I have a situation that's actually happened to me: My ex girlfriend said she was mine, her whole body, now, why do you suppose this cannot be regarded as a "gift" of her donating all of her organs to me at once?
lol look at the comment section people, that's why american women get laughed at. take this somewhere else around the world and see the response from women world wide. it will be very different. no i'm not just talking about the million-dollar-potential lawsuit.
Actually, women of industrialized nations laugh at the ignorant comments made by pathetic American misogynists. Only a wimp would try to take back a donation. Poor bastard will probably never get married again. He'll have to visit a Nevada ranch to get any. What a whiny little wuss that "man" is. HA!
sorry i don't really get what that psychotic outburst was because obviously none of us know that couple personally, and we don't know the details of their circumstances. i'm not sure what personal experience that man might have reminded you of, but that response was strange. i just couldn't grasp it on a logical level, therefore sorry if my reaction seems unexpected.
and even if we try to force an argument based on much over-generalization about "donations", i don't think a body organ can be forcefully fit into that category without some unconvincing arguments. that is of course, if a grossly overrated aspect called "conscience" in human nature is considered here, other than simply the legality of this case.
That whiny little wuss saved her life. He gave the kidney under false pretenses, assuming he was with someone who wouldn't violate the contract of marriage.
well, it is a gift!! so you are not getting it back.. even if he does.. is he going to have it reattached back into him.. or this guys is greedy and wants more moeny for the divorce?
Typical Hispanic Indian giver who thinks women are property. Guess what this is the US go back to some third world country who has no property rights.

PoopShitMario 3 years ago
And meweave, dear, I don't think he wants to run her life, he just wants compensation. On the topic of giving organs, I wouldn't give my kidney to anyone. I've already made the mistake of saying my whole body belonged to someone else during a relationship, it's a pretty awkward position to be in if they ask for my body after it ends, isn't it now? :P
Anyway, I'd much appreciate it if you read all my comments, I know I wrote a lot, but whatever.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
I also meant it's sentimental to him, seeing as how it was a part of him for many more years than it was a part of her, and there's his genetic material too...again, a civil case incline here. She could make argument too, but it would play heavily on the jury's pity. It's weird, because he's in sort of a parent-like position, seeing as how she wouldn't be capable of working without him. He, in a way, made her, kind of like parents make kids.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
One last thing I neglected to mention, even though there's already the not being biologically unique argument against platelets and blood. You can make more platelets or blood, but you can't make another kidney.

PoopShitMario: Yes, he saved her life... and now he wants to kill her. Your point?
Chiffon56 3 years ago
Uhhh...no he doesn't, he already said he doesn't want the actual kidney, just compensation for it.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
A gift is a gift. BTW... trying to pay him off probably WOULD kill her.
Chiffon56 3 years ago
Again, I will give an example of a relationship with an ex girlfriend, Chiffon56. I told her I'm hers, my whole body (and she said the same to me), now, does that mean she should get all of my organs, and have control over my life? I mean it IS a gift, right?
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
So, Poop Shit, with your family history of kidney disease, it's very likely that you will be in need of a donor someday. If I offer up a match, what will you give me?
HrudyE 3 years ago

Chiffon56 3 years ago
If you've read my previous posts, I already said that this youtube alias is part of an inside joke. Again going back to the gold watch example, she can take it and sew it into her body, but that doesn't make it hers, same with the kidney. Well...we both said that our bodies were each others forever, I'm sure this happens with a lot of couples, but it doesn't mean that she can march into my life and demand my dick via this "verbal contract", because I am not attracted to her anymore.

PoopShit: Did the guy tell the woman that she was just "borrowing" the kidney? If so, then yes, indeed, he should get it back. But I believe that the kidney was "given" to the woman, not loaned out to her.
Chiffon56 3 years ago
Chiffon56, I didn't tell my ex she was borrowing my body, I said it was hers forever, but that doesn't entitle her to have it right now. Couples don't use the word "lend", they use "give", as you might or might not have noticed. I think, with body parts, it's implied that you get an "out" if shit hits the fan. Kidney falls under that category. Since removing it is unethical, then he should at least be compensated.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
Poop Mario Shit, you've made yourself the topic of this thread. Your figurative body and soul seem to have a lot of baggage attached -- a tumor-- that caused your heart to break. These are the kinds of wounds that heal with separation, and distance. Cry on your pillown not YouTube. Go to a strip club. Go get laid, or drunk, or both, Poop Shit Beethoven.
HrudyE 3 years ago

Ciao.
HrudyE 3 years ago
I have two perfectly healthy kidneys, all the people in my family who exhibited kidney disease started showing signs early in life. Since that hasn't happened to me, I think it's a good bet that I have not inherited the same gene. I do think it's better to have a history of kidney disease in one's family, than of tendency towards schizophrenic fantasies, like you. Your children's kidney tissue does not contain your DNA in the nuclei, and it was grown by their body...if you even have children.

I said good day, sir!
HrudyE 3 years ago
Technically, it makes a part of you his slave, but not your whole, consider it like on plantations when some slaves were given easier jobs with more freedom. I think if your kidney is obligated to work for him, then he should at least be morally obligated to show respect. This is what I would try to make a civil case out of, if I were in this guy's place, and perhaps he will do just that. He does not seem particularly bright though, for a doctor.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
By the way, Poop Shit Mario was part of an inside joke I had with a few friends. Instead of that you should judge me based videos of myself I've put up instead. :p
That said, I understand your point of view. I don't agree with it, because of a fundamental difference in my belief of what quantifies someone's "person". I don't expect you to understand my point of view though, but I know I've done my best to give a different take on the situation, if you choose to be receptive and open to it.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
Continuing on: If he says his arm is hers, does that mean she is entitled to own a part of his body? Just because it's a gift? Certain things still belong to a person and ARE them, like LIVE tissue with their DNA.
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
Also, I don't know if you've gathered this from the story, but he said he does not actually want the kidney back, he just wants acknowledgement of what he did for her, compensation for emotional distress, and ability to see his kids (which she has denied him).
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
A family court judge would have to deny him partial custody. And he can't have his kidney back. He gave it up.
meweave 3 years ago
She can just say "if you try coming close to the kids, I'll call the cops on you and tell them you're assaulting me". This works often enough, as the authorities immediately side with the woman, even if the situation has not been presented in court yet.
Hey, I have a situation that's actually happened to me: My ex girlfriend said she was mine, her whole body, now, why do you suppose this cannot be regarded as a "gift" of her donating all of her organs to me at once?
PoopShitMario 3 years ago
karma is a bitch, she will get hers!
shinendeeneadie 3 years ago
lol look at the comment section people, that's why american women get laughed at. take this somewhere else around the world and see the response from women world wide. it will be very different. no i'm not just talking about the million-dollar-potential lawsuit.
spyletu 3 years ago
Actually, women of industrialized nations laugh at the ignorant comments made by pathetic American misogynists. Only a wimp would try to take back a donation. Poor bastard will probably never get married again. He'll have to visit a Nevada ranch to get any. What a whiny little wuss that "man" is. HA!
meweave 3 years ago
sorry i don't really get what that psychotic outburst was because obviously none of us know that couple personally, and we don't know the details of their circumstances. i'm not sure what personal experience that man might have reminded you of, but that response was strange. i just couldn't grasp it on a logical level, therefore sorry if my reaction seems unexpected.
spyletu 3 years ago
and even if we try to force an argument based on much over-generalization about "donations", i don't think a body organ can be forcefully fit into that category without some unconvincing arguments. that is of course, if a grossly overrated aspect called "conscience" in human nature is considered here, other than simply the legality of this case.
spyletu 3 years ago
That whiny little wuss saved her life. He gave the kidney under false pretenses, assuming he was with someone who wouldn't violate the contract of marriage.
