Great to see this interview, although Renfu, whoever that was, does her job rather poorly. But that's OK. This was a period of real dynamism and openness in the New York art/music/etc. scene. There was a real sense of possibility and fewer restrictions, rules and requirements than we have today. This clip would not be made today, even for a cable public-access channel (which appears to be the source of this?) The kid, the druggy Renfu, these would not be allowed. It is harder now.
