  • exciting life!

  • that looked like Norway!

  • what the hell was in those scrambled eggs? were they powderd eggs? they look like shit. i have made scrambled eggs my entire life and they never looked like that.

  • i feel terrible on this diet.I felt so much better eating grains.

  • @Callofdoodoo whole grains delay the onset of diabetes heart disease and obesity so do i get like what? five years or so.it seems to me grains in general are worthless caloric filler because i can eat more fiber in a big ass salad than a month of whole grain pancakes. and if its such great nutrition how come it always has to have added nutrients to justify its existance. So. if you feel great eating grains i say good for you. eat all you can. but someday you might have dibetes or dead.

  • @datzfast Maybe i just haven't gotten used to it yet,it seems to me that eating peanut butter, almonds and advacodos that i gain weight.i have noticed i dont get shaky anymore though. My whole mindset has changed,i have no motivation;im depressed;i just want to die.i tried to lift weights and it just wasn't hapenning.Actually after i worked out i was so tired and weak i went inside and went to sleep.I dont think this diet is right for me but im willing to give it a little more time.

  • @Call Of Doodoo study the diet, peanuts are not paleo food. its a toxic legume. also eat fruit and vegatables, you are still eating like a man of convenience. i personally eat a breafast of meat and eggs, then a big ass salad then a fruit meal. im never hungry or tired. ps make your own salad dressing

  • @Callofdoodoo That sounds like quiter talk. Trust me, the only thing that might have felt better when you were eating grains was your tongue, your just psyching yourself out. Been 4 weeks since your comment. Has your opinion of the diet changed any? After a little while, I came to feel a lot better about this diet so maybe time has/will help.

  • @Callofdoodoo You can go low grain for a few days/weeks before going totally grain free.

Even then, grain products isn't forbidden, just don't have too much of it, and don't buy it before you want to eat it immediately. If you really want a pizza, go for it.

  • @90Rush will do

  • What do you think of the vibrams?

  • @brianv00 love them

  • Hmmm... cooked chichen? cooked eggs? I thought the paleo era didn't have access to controlled fire or cooking supplies like pots and pans? I thought that raw meats, organs, eggs, fish, vegetables, fruit , nuts and seeds all had to be eaten in their raw state by our ancestors? Could you please explain why you cook your food instead of eating it raw? I'm curious as to whether or not you're getting all of the benefits that one who would go about the paleo raw gets. Thanks.

  • @Xoiboi Paleolithic man DID cook. They did not have pots and pans, they cooked meat over a fire by use of wooden sticks and skewers.

  • @Xoiboi i cook one meal day because i enjoy cooking. i just cook paleo food. i also have a job unlike a paleo man and i enjoy having sex daily. hope this was helpful you see my paleo lifestyle choice is all about the food and not about how paleo man got his food. can you see the differance? come on i did a good job didnt i?

  • @datzfast/ @ Monarchos Thanks for your input and experiences.

  • If you eat just enough fruit spaced through the day you won't experience a crash. Fruit gives you energy however it is less likely to be stored in the body and burns off more quickly than complex carbs. Hmm for 1,000,000 years man has used fruit as a source of energy. People get so confused as to how they will have energy but it's right there on the tree. Grain became a cheaper way to feed the masses not a better way! Thank almighty greed for grain being jammed down our throats.

  • some nice meal ideas in there.... good vid thanks !!

  • WE STILL HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL EARTH TO REST THE SOUL AND BODY...WE HAVE TO PROTECT IT..

  • WE STILL HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL EARTH TO REST THE SOUL AND BODY...WE HAVE TO PROTECT IT...

  • i thought tomatoes aren't paleo because they are nightshade.. hmm

  • @arriesgarse When you eliminate all of the complex carbs of traditional American diet you have a lot of room to play with diet. There are sugars and carbs in lots of foods you don't think about like carrots, tomatoes, and onions. It is minimal and not complex so it burns off very quickly. Paleo foods need to have enough fiber and variety to keep people from turning back to traditional diet. My favorite breakfast is 4 whole eggs with bacon, onions, tomatoes, olives and coconut oil.

  • BEAUTIFULL VACATION IN THE BEAUTIFULL NATURE-- is still the best thing for the health and soul...CUDOVITE POCITNICE V NARAVI je se zmerom najlepse za zdravje in duso.....

  • Most of the mayo you buy in the UK has all kinds of crap added, including sugar...

  • @paynowlivelater yes! do you know of any decent brands? Every single one I could find in the supermarket (have yet to look online about it need to get around to it :P) had tons of vegetable oils in them and more sugar than I would like

I'm eating... well not paleo but not far off either, losing weight but I have a long way to go, this is a change for life and after all the stuff I have learned so far I could never go back to eating that processed garbage :)

  • @paynowlivelater hey man hope you dont mind me asking a question here but since you are from the UK and im newish to this :P, do you know any good sources of info on paleo communities in the UK and/or farmers markets around the country. cheers

  • @paynowlivelater ps. im from Stoke-on-Trent :)

  • @BLaZeDRas I'm afraid I just get my info from the American sites. I get my fruit and veg from Birmingham city centre market on saturdays and a few bits and pieces from Holland and Barrett...

  • @paynowlivelater nice, hope you're doing well man! never saw ur reply ... cheers (duno why I didnt get an email about the reply). I am now making my own paleo mayo from olive oil and loving eating/living paleo... down 4stone 8lbs last time I weigh'd (not that overall weight matters but its a bad habit, I'm down almost 10 inches in the mid-section) :)

  • @paynowlivelater fruit is150 cents a pound sugar is 25 cents a pound. the USA is the crap food leader

  • Question - why avoid the mayonnaise? It's egg whites and vinegar, unless you get the stuff with soybean oil. Just curious. (Btw, love the videos, you're helping me change my life very much for the better. So is this guy: dogtorj.c0m)

  • I love where ever you are! So beautiful!

  • Beautiful countryside and food photos. Where are you at? England? It looks like your eating a solid diet. What type of exercises are you doing? Any Crossfit or MovNat stuff? How are your results?

  • @sclaysdharma I'm eating and exercising according to the Nutshell parts 1 and 2 videos. Plus some long easy mountain running which is not really reflected in the part 2 video. Results are good - I feel pretty good most of the time ;-)

  • @paynowlivelater never heard of Nutshell-will have to check it out-looked a lot like a Paleo type diet and MoveNat stuff to me. Looks like your on the right track though. Cheers

  • @sclaysdharma the nutshell videos are two other videos i have published about the paleo lifestyle. You can find them elsewhere on my videos page....

  • Can you eat as much of cooked butternut squash as you feel like?

  • @xsliceofheavenx within reason, yes. If it starts displacing other foods necessary for a varied diet, then you have gone beyond reason!

  • @paynowlivelater Will it make you fat if you eat 3 whole butternut squashes a day? Plus extra fruit? Is eating quinoa bad to eat? I really like quinoa, its actually not a grain, but a seed?

  • @xsliceofheavenx it depends whether you exceed the calories you need.Quinoi is okay, in my view.

  • I love your videos. Just finished the Paleo Solution and am reading The Primal Blueprint. I am about 45 days into my own paleo transition.

2 questions: What do you think about using the Five Fingers for hiking with a pack? Do your feet hurt afterward? Also, what HR monitor did you use to get the data posted at 2:28. Oh, one more...you showed a lot of meals eaten out, what do you do at home?

  • @jnbaglio I would use the VFF for a while without a pack, to strengthen your feet - but then they will be just fine. If you are already a seasoned VFF wearer, then just go for it - it's fine. I use the Zephy HxM heart rate monitor. If you follow me on Twitter you'll see what I eat at home daily. Or visit the meals page on my blog (follow the link in the description to get to my training site, then the link in the header to the sister blog, Pay Now Live Later)

  • Ok interesting. How much water do you usually eat and do you eat much salt?

  • @ebutuoy88 I just drink when thirsty. I don't add salt to my food and rarely eat food with salt added, except in restaurants when I have little control.

  • do you ever get bloated eating all those vegetables?

Do you ever eat starchy vegetables like potatoes?

  • @ebutuoy88 I never get bloating from the veggies.... and I never eat potatoes.

  • What is rocket? a.k.a. arugula?

  • @Brindle702 it's kind of a spicy leaf
