I think that what is more important to take away from this is that a very powerful monopolistic news organization...one of them, is spewing garbage 24 hours a day, and people are swayed by it. If anything this shows that what is important is whatever Fox says is important.

@peterphilip Once again you're wrong...As a history teacher...the North wanted to count blacks as '0'..the South wanted to count the slaves as '1'; because they wanted more power in congress and the north thought that counting slaves as 1; even though they couldn't vote was wrong because the south held them in slavery..so with the help of abolistionist they came up with a compromise to count blacks as 3/5 in order to limit the power of the South in Congress. Union's are bad ever since they forced the Big Three automakers (GM, Chrystler, and Ford) 's costs go way up so as to be unsustainable= retirees losing their pensions. Unions are bad since they threated to put my non-union employer out of business and 10,000 employees out of work and nearly succeeded, I lost my healthcare and the company is struggling to get out of chapter 11 bankruptcy. If they did cause a rise in the middle class it was atrificial. harder work= more $. not: same work= more $.

He only went against the Bush administration when the radical right HAD to distance themselves from him - he was so bad.

Some one has to advocate for low to moderate income families esp. the lowest of the low, It doesn't seem right to just get rid of ACORN since it is a collection of smaller associations that (some to many) are still OK.
