Imagine there was no net neutrality when the internet was created. Google, created by students in California, would never exist. Youtube, created by three former paypal employees, would never exist. Facebook, created by a college student, would never exist. Think of all the bands that got signed because of videos and music they promote on the internet.

you mentioned canada alot, is this issue mainly a problem in canada or what?

No this problem is nearly global. I use canada as an example simply because I'm canadian and my research was concentrating on Canadian/North American markets.
