It's so typical of the Rangers. Even though Buffalo had a better team the Rangers were that close to being up 3 games to 2, & I've got a feeling they would have won the series. We've regressed every year since. That team jelled well towards the end & even though our best players were older (Jagr, Nylander, Straka) they were still very skilled. Then we go out and get Gomez and Drury, who although both mych younger, didn't do half of what the aforementioned 3 forwards did.
Buffalo Sabres = Will NOT win the cup because they rely too much on Ryan Miller. Even if (and that's a big IF) they get by the Bruins they will not win the cup because they don't have a good enough team overall.

Opening day in a few weeks! I am pumped. The Sabres are a bit bigger this year, their 3rd and 4th lines have been improved, and Leopold is a GREAT addition to the Sabres defense. Also, Niedermayer brings much needed veteran leadership. Buffalo is a better team this year, when compared to last years team.

It's so typical of the Rangers. Even though Buffalo had a better team the Rangers were that close to being up 3 games to 2, & I've got a feeling they would have won the series. We've regressed every year since. That team jelled well towards the end & even though our best players were older (Jagr, Nylander, Straka) they were still very skilled. Then we go out and get Gomez and Drury, who although both mych younger, didn't do half of what the aforementioned 3 forwards did.
