I apologise if I'm wrong but isn't this POINTLESS except it helps you create default aero folders?

I mean essentially if you wanted your own theme all you need to do is just go to change desktop background then choose a bunch of pictures you want and then select the time it changes from one pic to another and then save.

Hey i don't knwo if you will be able to answer this but i patched the 3 files and then installed my themes but i had to do a system restore and when i open universal them patcher its says not patched so i restarted and it got to the login screen and said please wait and my monitor just turned on and off

I have a 1TB drive just for Windows 7 too.

I used to have 50GB for my C drive and Windows Vista ate up the whole thing in 6 months. I have this theme I want and it's a House M.D. theme and it's a rar file, but everytime I click to open it, it goes to Windows Media Center then it says something like this files is blah. @GIMPMan1972 Ur quite wrong there, cuz u only have to reboot when you are patching the uxtheme.dll, after that you just choose theme and it will apply automatically, no rebooting required.

@GIMPMan1972 There is a reason that it requires a reboot. Linux even requires a reboot after doing an update of a core file in the root directories. It's in order for the operating system to begin using that file, considering the fact that it will not automatically switch to the other file, as that can cause system instability on any operating system.

Macs have to reboot after an update, just like any other operating system. It's not just Windows.

Not that I was talking about Linux but that only require a reboot for a new kernel. It doesn't require the user to hack core files to theme it. Libraries can be reloaded on the fly in Linux by various commands(ldconfig and such), just like drivers and kernel modules, which don't require a reboot.

you didn't patch system files. you need to do that in order for it to work. follow instructions carefully!!!
