If you can afford this camera and an external mic, than you can afford a real pro type mic support. if not then just use a strip of foam (about 4' long x 1.5" wide x 1/4" thick) wrap it around the middle of the mic and tape it to the handle with masking tape. Make sure not to wrap the foam to thight. other wise it won't isolate any noise or vibration.
