nooo! all you need is determination and perhaps a good teacher. if you're like me you tried to just learn it at first but you should know the basics first and get to know about the keys/scales etc., the structure
They pop like a good wood banjo or Mandolin they ring plus pop. Some Mandolins just ring when you strike the strings but a good one has that woody pop sound.

Good work, but it sounds very flat. With Bach you have to work really hard to bring out the different phrases and voices.
