  • They made the bird look like a gay little tramp stamp butterfly when they shrunk it.

  • I am all GM...And I own (2) 2002 Trans Am WS.6, 6-Speed Convertibles...And I strongly argue those track times being inaccurate...My black WS.6 is all stock. I will have to post a video of it come spring running the 1/4 mile here in concord at zmax dragway. I launched the car and laid a 12.9 for my best time of the day. My LT.1 Corvette laid a 13.6...But not the '02 WS.6, not even for my worst time...

  • go Pontiac

  • gm should have gotten rid of buick instead of pontiac. i think pontiac was their best seller next to chevy

  • dam the breaks stop on a dime

  • i would love to get a regular ws6 and paint it this color yellow along w/ black wheels

  • that thing is soo sexy even if it is yellow.

  • dude i dont care how much gas it takes i still gonna get i really want one lol

  • Theres hardly any difference between a trans am and a z28 when you're considering the 4th gen fbods. The same car, different bodies/interior. My 02 TA put out 310hp and 340ft/lbs to the wheels stock. It ran a 14.09 in the 1/4 mile here in Colorado which would be a 13.09 at sea level I was bracket racing when I ran that I even sand bagged to not break out. I think I could have touched 13 if I had went all out. Mines not a WS6 I doubt theres THAT much different in the 1/4 mile numbers

  • how in the hell would a 14.09 be a 13.09 at see level???

  • Racing a naturally aspirated car a mile up in the atmosphere will slow you down. Doesnt affect the turbo'd/supercharged guys as much but without forced induction a car will run approximately a full second slower up here at bandimere then say a track near 0ft elevation. Airs not as dense so the cars are kind of starving for air up here.

  • new mustang gts have slightly better power to weight: 11.63 while trans am had a 11.68. so if the guys car was stock and maybe he wasn't as good a driver as u, u have a good chance at passing him. but the t/a has a better fuel economy(mustang 17/23, t/a 18/26) and the t/a definitely gets more looks. but if u were to race a camaro z28 of the same year i doubt u would be as lucky since it has a 11.09 powerweight ratio while still maintaining a better fuel efficiency than ur modern day mustang gt.

  • my bad i put the comment in the wrong video.

  • IF you can believe the power outputs that are advertised. when I got my 2000 WS6 i got it dynoed stock and it put out 290 at the wheels. my friend got his brand new 06 Gt dyno'd it was 267 at the wheels. we have also dragged and its no comparison. stock TA's will do low 13's with a good driver also the ls1 responds much better to mods than the ford 4.6.

  • yea, GM kind of lied when they advertised they LS1 trans ams because they didn't want to steer people away from the corvette i read about it. oh and good luck with your WS6. i love them but right now i need a family sedan so i went and bought a 2000 crown vic police interceptor for $4k. its not real fast but it one of the best sedans in its price range. hopefully i'll be able to buy a WS6 in a couple of years.

  • lol your into trans ams too eh? ha damn we like almost the same cars. i would love to have one, but they suck too much gas.

  • When it comes to fuel economy vs. fun, I'll take the fun any day. Hell, those T/As get as good a fuel economy as my 2000 Ford Police Interceptor. And it's great that we're into the same types of cars. A few million people like us could save the American auto industry, and keep them coming out with things like the new Dodge Challenger, or the Shelby GT500, or the new Camaro. Well, take care.

  • your damn right! lol. if i didnt have to travel so much to go to school everyday, i prally would have one. but cant since im on a college budget, lol. there is just something that attracts me to these awesome cars. better yet, any car with a massive V8 under the hood.

  • Yeah, I love V8s. I looked into some V6 FWD cars before I saw the Ford P71 for sale. Nothing beats the fun you get out of driving a V8 powered, rear wheel driven vehicle. Once I get like 12k, I'll buy a nice 2002 T/A of my own. So, what do you drive?

  • i told you but you must have forgot lol. i drive a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE. a very powerful V6 is attached to my foot. havent race any cars though. :( i only raced a dodge 1500 single cab with the V6. yea smoked him. lol

  • Oh, yeah. Those Maximas are fast as heck. I've been talking to some other guy that has one, and I've looked at the specs and those things haul. My P71 is pretty heavy, but it can take most Civics and such, and its really fun for donuts and burnouts.

  • lol yea. i have several things that i would like to do to it. but its just temp. so im not sure.

  • It's quicker than most sedans out there stock. You don't really need to do much to it.

  • i know huh. i just really want to put some flowmasters, k&n filter system, small things like that. turbo is possible, but not so sure.

  • man i wish i had one in 6 speed

  • beautiful cars. but you get a bad rating from me!
