How can leftards call an enforcement of the LAW something as stupid as an "overthrow?" Oh, I see. when the law-breaking politician is somebody THEY like! I get it now! Well if that's the case, I got some butt-crust I can sprinkle into their coffee.
Well you say for example zelaya was expelled by the supreme court right? Technically the congress accepted his fake resignation. Fake: meaning it is not notarized nor signed by a witness. Besides, honduras can not be sent out of the country by force according to the contitution.
Lol nothing says constitutional like secret detentions, torture, state violence against journalists. Not just that but the constitution is allowed to be amended which apparently the Honduran military couldn't contemplate.
PropagandaBuster, I love your videos and watch you all the time. Do you have any good videos about your opinions on Hugo Chavez, and the way he REALLY treats his own people?
Me and my comrades? Genocidal? Lets see the fact my "comrade" (jajaja) first antichrist? Second communist propagando? The slave mind are you who follow a religion without question and blindly, you who refuse to hear al reasion on this matter, you who even after seeing the video of those send to jail, beaten up and killed still see it as propaganda. I am not a communist or a marxist i am a socialist you genious. What propaganda have you even read any book on Honduran law?
Fuck you you stupid ignorant new yorker. You don´t know shit! You American pigs promote, coups around the world just like this one. Get your facts straights!! Look at Uribe in Colombia, he is allowed to run for a third reelection. Why can´t we overthrow Uribe? Oh I forgot, he is Latin America´s number one ally and drugs.

IMF, WORLD BANK, UN, international agreements. This is how the final Antichrist world government will be able to control and blackmail the world into worshipping him or not being able to buy or sell. It is all happening very quickly now just as the Bible warned it would.
Further, all weak corrupt and zombie slave states of the UN, IMF, OECD agenda around the world become the tools to implement the one world government
"President Zelaya must be reinstated before the elections, because if he is not, the elections WILL NOT BE LEGITIMATE" Alvaro Colom Pres of Guatemala
Again further proof of the one world government UN international propaganda that uses the media and various presidents in order to dictate to sovereign nations what is legitimate and what is not.
UN WORLD MARXIST GOVERNMENT ORDERS OUT HONDURAS, CALLS THEM "ILLEGAL" REGIME. UN ONE WORLD MARXIST DICTATORSHIP GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA CONTINUES THROUGH ALL MEDIA OUTLETS.

There will be no more sovereign states allowed by the UN anymore very soon. Be warned, escape UN countries while you still can.

Tantoin, Marxists Zelayan thugs? Thats a bit to much in any case they would be socialists. And also have you not seen the dead, all those beaten, or put to jail? Acording to the honduran constitution no Honduran owns obedience to an ilegal government. Tantoin it was just a kick in the ... anyway i got beat up by police men even harder.
Your propaganda doesn't work on me yoiouisad, I am not one of the "useless idiots" you can manipulate like all the rest of the slave minds who follow your Marxist, genocidal, antichrist agendas. I know what you and your comrades are really all about.
'Clinton a communist?' Crazy wackjob this guy! Generally when a millitary forces an elected president into exile at gunpoint - its not the way things in a democracy should be done!
Im not talking about any country in specific... Millitary forcing out elected officials at gunpoint is not part of democracy. Could you imagine the US millitary storming the whitehouse - load Obama on a plane with guns pointed at his head and drop him off in Cuba? Didnt think so
No, the Military of Honduras did it in association with the oligarchs to protect their interests, as it's always been with coup de etats, paranoid midget.
"U.S. government revoked the visas of four members of Honduras's government Tuesday, escalating the pressure on officials there to reinstate Zelaya" (The Abortion Pushing, Marxist Propaganda Cowboy).
Watch the near future and you will see how the UN, the OECD and the IMF with backing from the US and EU use examples such as Honduras to justify the implementation of world government, world money, world court and military.
Even Panama has now caved into OECD threats of being blacklisted.
...Soon all the countries of the world will have to bow to the UN, OECD and IMF and their threats or they will be blacklisted from all banking systems and monetarily shut down, this is how world government is being implemented, through blackmail by the OECD. All countries of the world will be forced comply to the UN/OECD/IMF world policies and will not be able to buy or sell in the world economy unless they change their sovereign laws in order to worship the UN world dictates.

It was not yet the end of his term. The military took over the country. That's by definition a Coup d'état! Man you really are "Elmer Fudd"-like. Please convince your state to secede so the intelligence quotient for the US can go up.

While I greatly enjoyed your childish Macarthy-filled review. You proved that you know very little about the situation in Honduras and very little about Honduras in general. "Hondurian"?!? Honduras is more like a communist state now more than ever. Kicked out of the OAS, not recognized by the UN or EU and exiled from the World Bank.
PropagandaBuster is a COMMUNIST for supporting an action that has caused Honduras to become isolated from the world much like...a communist state.
So let me get this straight...you threw out Mel because he messed with the Constitution and was full of lies.
So once Micheletti gets in what does he do? Lie about who recognizes his government and suspends the Constitution!!! And for the first time in history, Hugo Chavez actually has a verified reason to enter Honduras...good job Micheletti.
Oh yeah, Honduras was kicked out of the OAS. Guess who was the last country to have that happen to them? Cuba. Good job.
FACT 6: After the MILITARY COUP, a group of Telesur newscasters were held captive by "Hondurian" military and sent home. NO explanation has been given why.
FACT 7: The New Honduran Chancellor, Enrique Ortez, when asked about President Obama on National Honduran Television said; "Ese negrito que no sabe nada de nada". Just goes to show that this new coup government knows so little, it has to resort to racial name calling of the U.S. President on national TV!!
FACT 5: Micheletti criticized the family relations of Mel and Mel's nephew, Chmirri, the head of Hondutel (Honduras' Telecommunications company) after Chmirri was arrested for corruption. Days later, the mayor of San Pedro Sula was arrested for corruption and replaced by....Micheletti's nephew!!! Hypocrite much?
FACT 3: Micheletti claimed that he had meetings set up with Guatemala, Canada and Mexico, regarding his new government. NONE of these meetings have happend. Another lie.
FACT 4: On July 1st, the Honduran Congress, under Michletti's control suspended articles 71, 78, 79, 81, 84, 88, 99 of the Honduran Constitution from 9 at night to five in the morning. So we kicked out Mel for violating the Constitution only...to violate the Constitution?
Why should we listen to you when you refer to Hondurans as "Hondurians"? You're about as reliable as FoxNews...
FACT 1. After ousting Mel, the "Hondurian" Congress tried to press through a FORGED (or signed under duress) resignation of Mel.
FACT 2: Micheletti claimed that Taiwan, Israel and Italy all recognized his new government. All three of these countries have publicly stated Mel is the only real Honduran President.

Propo it's curious how you've failed to curb or erase usagym's comments that stray off video topic. Does she ever stay on topic without diving into her raves?
tanto...I admit I stray off of topic when dealing with usagym. If you'd care to do a little looking you'd see I'm only replying to her ...not starting the deviation from the videos. I do have one instance of deliberate deviation....when Palin quit.
Tanto...I'm a proud Catholic and I don't appreciate nor respect someone like you who calls my religion heretical propaganda. You are the one who is deranged and hypocritical.
usag....the tax code is law. No I don't have a problem with it. I have a problem with government that is run inefficiently and without accountability.
usag...there are cheaters on both sides. Yes I plan on going to heaven, I've been a good boy. I'm not self righteous honey I just can't stand phonies like you.
usag Jesus provided this additional instruction to a man who had faithfully kept Gods commandments, "If you wish to be complete [or perfect], go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me" (Matt. 19:21). The lesson here isnt that we must give all we have to the poor, but rather to emphasize how Christians should think first of others and less of material possessions (Matt. 6:19-24, 22:36-40).
USAG He who gives to the poor will never want, But he who shuts his eyes will have many curses (Prov. 28:27).
He who mocks the poor taunts his Maker (Prov. 17:5).
Jesus didn't say how to take care of the poor....he just wanted us to do what it takes....if we take care of the poor and they need no more...then government is not needed. Since we don't do enough on our own.....
USAG... day of judgment, Jesus pictured people from all nations gathered before him, separated into "sheep" and "goats." (Matthew 25:31-46) To the "sheep" he says, "Come you blessed of my Father, for I was hungry and you fed me..." In their astonishment they ask, "When did we do that?" And he answers, "When you did it to the lowliest of my brothers (and sisters)." Conversely, to the "goats" he says, "Out of my sight, you who are condemned, for I was hungry and you did not feed me." USAGSHEEP
usag from JesusCentral Jesus commanded, "Love your neighbor." When asked to define "neighbor," Jesus expanded the traditional meaning of the word--defining our neighbor as anyone who is in need, including social outcasts".
I don't believe anybody said everybody that was on well-fare was lazy, but you also have to understand that more than just one form of welfare exist. Also Jesus praised charity, not mandated heavy taxation. Only what was needed.
Jube....I know you didn't say everybody on welfare is lazy. USAg said "Of course you don't have a problem with it b/c you want to punish those who are hard working and reward those who aren't" She was refering to welfare as a whole not singling out just the lazy among them. She also said "About time I stop having to pay for the losers in society"...another blanket comment aimed at those who receive Social Security. I don't think that that attitude is what Jesus has in mind for us.
Jube....Jesus said we SHOULD take care of the poor and those less fortunate. We didn't. Welfare does and yes I think Jesus would want the wealthiest country on the planet to do whatever it takes to help them. That is "only what is needed"....living on welfare is not a reward as USAG suggests....it's a helping hand.
Charity is what takes care of the people who have less, it's a proven fact that well-fare as an entire system does more harm than good. It encourages people to be lazy. Jesus wanted people to give out of the kindness of their hearts, not be forced by the government. That would be contradictory to his entire message. And whether you like it or not, there are plenty of people who do abuse the well-fare system and make it harder for the people who really need it to receive the benefits.
Don't place Jesus as a supporter of the greedy Capitalist system that causes more harm in undeveloped countries than good. Welfare does aliviate the stresses of poorer folks, even if some take advantage of it, it is not our job to judge, but to help even one person and family get ahead.
This has nothing to do with Capitalism, it has to do with charity vs well-fare, and the reasons why charity is far better than well-fare, I suppose you could also throw in the argument of which Jesus would be more supportive of, which of course would be charity, as it's (for the most part) giving for the simple sake of giving, where as well-fare is forcing people to give, and all the passages of the bible I don't believe you'll find Jesus being a great supported of highway robbery.
No, it's actually not at all. For the simple reason that there is no requirement to go to church, all you have to do to circumvent the process is not go. Unlike taxes, which you pay in some form, even if you don't work, you pay a sales tax, about the only way to get around taxes is to be homeless. So no, they are actually nothing alike and share no common conception. I also don't know about you, but you are not mandated to give offering to the church, it's optional, they don't force you.
jube..there is no requirement in this country to have a job. You can choose to be homeless or to take jobs where you don't earn enough to pay taxes. It's optional, they don't force you.
And if you choose to be homeless, then you willingly accept that nobody is required to help you in any manner and that it's your responsibility to fend for yourself and it is not society job to provide for you. And yes, there is a requirement in this country to have a job if you want to be anything, own anything, or even not die. That's a stupid comparison to compare being homeless to not going to church. You don't make other people pay for your mistakes by not going to church.
jube...we're talking about giving our money to be spent for the needy. The needy are not all lazy and they are not all a result of mistakes. Jesus will judge the lazy and in the meantime he wishes us to be compassionate. I don't mind giving to my church nor country to help those less fortunate. I don't like paying taxes for ignorant wars like Vietnam and Iraq but I love my country and I want to live here.
Perhaps if more of you became involved in charities the government wouldn't have to.
You said it yourself, Jesus wishes for us to be compassionate, he doesn't force us to be compassionate, which is exactly what the government is doing by continuing to aid those who abuse the well-fare system. And no, you are wrong. Billions are given to charity, but you know what? It's those people on well-fare, who are collection a free pay-check because people like you are willing to let them be lazy. Maybe if they'd get a job, I wouldn't have to be robbed by the government.
jube you don't comprehend well. I said Jesus is to judge not people like you. Absolutely billions are spenton charity but you know what....it's very clear it's not enough. As I said...welfare is not a program where you can remain indefinately because you have to find work or you lose benefits.
By your reasoning charity also contributes to laziness.
Then I comprehended perfectly fine. As I never stated I was "judging" anybody, maybe it's you who can't comprehend well? And actually, yes, you can stay on well-fare pretty much indefinitely, and you know...you don't have to be on it indefinitely to abuse the system for a few years. And no, that's not my reasoning, because charity is not FORCED. Why is that so hard to understand, it's not complicated, well-fare is forced, charity is not. Charity is good, too much well-fare is bad.
jube....when you say you don't wish to help the lazy ...you've obviously judged them. And no you can't stay on wellfare "pretty much indefinately". I understand wellfare is forced...I've never contested that. Why is it so hard to understand charity is not enough?
No I haven't. I'm not passing judgment on them, I'm not deciding their fates, I'm simply saying I refuse ( and so should anybody else with a modicum of intelligence) to support lazy people who refuse to support themselves. That's not judging them, that's using common sense. And even if I was "judging" them, I still have no responsibility to support them. And yes, you can stay on well-fare for years, you can collect food stamps for years, you can abuse the system to cause sever damage.
Jube...I'd thought at first you don't understand what judging is. Your comment "even if I was" confirms you do...but aren't willing to take responsibility for it.
As I've said before I don't like my taxes going towards illegal and idiotic wars or protecting the world. I have the same responsiblity as you....you pay taxes on what the government says you do. If you don't like it become involved for change and obey the laws until they are.
usag....you are an extremist. The idea of gun control is hardly an extreme position nor is the idea that those who earn several times the average salary to pay a higher percentage of their earnings in taxes. You might do a little research into what extremism means.
Where in the 2nd amendment does it say you can have any type of weapon you wish?
usag...where does the 2nd amendment give you the right to have any weapon you wish for? I would hope even an extremist like you would be against the right for citizens to posess nuclear arms.
Where can I find an english translation of the Honduran Constitution? I've also heard that the process to approve repealing the constitution would have extended past the elections and the taking of office of the winner. If that were true, maybe it's a case of the right controlling the supreme courts therefore acting in a "constitutional" manner.
Wonder where I can find a copy of that constitution.
USAG...you talking about a socialist pension plan?
As far as your pathetic comment about having to pay for losers........that comment goes against what my Christian God wishes for us to follow in life. I pray for your sad soul.
I'd say that's somewhat of a fair assessment of socialism. Although, I would add that it does not for one, promote self-sufficiency. It suggest that individuals should support a group, even when that individual may not benefit from the policies. It also at the very least, promotes laziness, some might say "how" exactly? Well, because even if you have nothing wrong with you, and are perfectly capable of working, you would still be covered under the system, it basically promotes laziness.
"Honduras does not need any one person to remain in office indefinitely, and the constitution must be respected by everyone, not just the citizens. What President Zalaya is being accused of doing is in direct violation of the constitution." - Sheila Matute
Excellent assessment about the situation in Honduras. Of course, the left, socialist media and people will never accept it. Why? Because of the following equation:
Many people can't work enough or at all for many reasons, but few if any want to be where they are. Even heroin addicts don't want the life they have, they are just consumed by addiction.
I have my facts straight Guff and I know exactly what's going on. There was a coup in Honduras where a democratically elected leader was sent out of the country in his pajamas by the military. Holding a referendum to gauge the feelings of the people is hardly trying to run without a term limit. Give your head a shake. This isn't the 80's and Regan is in a grave. Times change buddy.
"He didn't decide that he wanted to run for a second term. Get your facts straight"
--I guess he just wanted to have the next president be able to serve without a term limit, huh? How nice of him. And do you still believe in the Tooth Fairy?
Your argument is ad hominem. It doesn't matter what Churchill was. Even the worst man can be right sometimes, and the best can be wrong. Rather than insulting Churchill, you should respond to his points.
At the National University of Singapore, if a student who is supported by scholarship does well, the scholarship will increase. If the student is a slacker, not only will the scholarship be terminated, but he or she will have to pay back the money taken.
If a professor is a star performer, he or she can get a bonus of up to five months.
These are INTENSIVES. Capitalism works, because people have incentives. Communism fails, because people do not.

And your "incentives" are exploitative, which means that for one person to move up, others must be pushed down. Leaving a large number of poor and sick.
Orwell was a socialist that fought under the hammer and sickle. He became anti-stalinist but remained an admirer of Leon Trotsky, who he used as a hero figure in his most famous pieces "1984" and "Animal Farm." If I sound like Karl Marx all I can say is I'm flattered.
Look it up yourself, Orwell fought with the POUM, more specifically he fought with the Lenin Company of the POUM. Both Goldstein and Snowball were characters of Trotsky, this is basic stuff.
--I did, and I found this: "Although he was never a Trotskyist, he was strongly influenced by the Trotskyist and anarchist critiques of the Soviet regime"
He said he wanted "to see tyranny overthrown." Unfortunately for him, he didn't realize Socialism is tyranny.
He also wrote 1984 to show the "perversions ... which have already been partly realized in Communism and Fascism."

I can see you know how to goggle and cut/paste, congratulations kid. I don't know or care where you got the second quote from but both books were critiques of stalinism not communism or socialism. And yea, the guy was up-set on how the POUM were treated but that doesn't Baillie the fact that he was a long member of the POUM's Lenin Company.
It is also because of a lack of accountability on Canada in the government sector.
I have a friend who was told to work less for the Province of British Columbia. He could complete in a week a report that a team could not complete in months.
He entered his job from the private sector. Many government workers are not really working. I know someone whose division at the CDC publishes more than all other combined.
Government workers need merit pay and slackers should be sacked.

"Democracies have checks and balances to protect themselves from being taken over by a popular dictator." I know and Zelaya didn´t broke any of those checks and balances. Just check the legislation there...
Of course, Zelaya violated checks and balances. He asked the Army to implement an illegal referendum and when the general in charge refused, he fired him. Then he tried to run a fake referendum with ballots printed by a foreign power, Chavez's Venesuela.
Rather than caring about eliminating term limits, Zelaya should try to do something to improve life for the Honduran people.
"He asked the Army to implement an illegal referendum" It was not a referendum. It was an "esquesta de iniciativa ciudadana" according to Ley de Participación ciudadana (Decreto No. 3-2006): ARTÍCULO 3.- Los mecanismos de la Participación Ciudadana entre otros son: 1) Plebiscito; 2) Referéndum; 3) Cabildos abiertos municipales; 4) Iniciativa Ciudadana;
"Then he tried to run a fake referendum with ballots printed by a foreign power" LOLOL the ballots were allready printed. And I repeat: It was not a referendum, it was a mecanism of participation that had no legal value, it wouldn´t change anything. Any question written there was legal.
USAGymnast, I have a question for you. Why does Singapore, Hongkong, and Japan have LOWER taxes than Canada AND faster, better government services? Virtually every transaction I have had with the government in Japan could be completed in an hour, but in Canada it could take up to TWO YEARS.
Income tax in Singapore gradually increases from 0%. If you earn above S$200K, you pay 20% tax only on the income about S$200K. But the streets are cleaner, the airport newer in Singapore!
To finish this non sense propaganda video: Zelaya is not a communist, he´s a member of the Liberal Party...but even if he was a communist, it was an elected communist....
Zelaya became a communist midway through his term under the influence of Chavez.
Democracies have checks and balances to protect themselves from being taken over by a popular dictator.
The Supreme Court, Legislature, and Army did what was necessary to keep Honduras democratic.
Hitler was popular in 1933. Being popular doesn't mean being democratic. Popular dicators consolidate power so they can remain in office when they are no longer popular.
"The Supreme Court ordered him out of office and ordered the military to run him out of office. The military followed the constitutional orders from the Supreme Court" LOLOLOL The TSE (Tribunal Supremo Electoral) has no constitutional power to depose an elected President....
The question was: ¿Está usted de acuerdo que en las elecciones generales de noviembre de 2009 se instale una cuarta urna para decidir sobre la convocatoria a una asamblea nacional constituyente que apruebe una constitución política? So, the question has not related to the constitutional limits of President´s reelection.
This guy doesn´t know what he´s talking about... "La encuesta de opinion publica" was not a referendum, had no legal effect and it is legal according to "Ley de Participación ciudadana (Decreto No. 3-2006) ".
Zelaya's removal is by no means a military initiative, they have not taken control, they were acting under orders from a Honduran court with jurisdiction over government administrative affairs. The Honduran Congress unanimously voted to remove Zelaya from power as a result of his defiance of prior court orders, for violations of key articles in the Constitution. The Congress then named the next official in the line of succession to occupy the presidency and finish the current term of office.

"'All men are created equal' says the American Declaration of Independence. 'All men shall be kept equal' say the Socialists." - Winston Churchill
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
Cloe....taxes do not equal theft...they represent payment for services such as the military, natural disasters, our roads and highways and many other needs. I'd suggest you look up how much money our country spent on the military and roads in 1913....I think times and needs have changed. Talking about wanting a free ride.......
Why do I have to pay more to the military than someone who earns less money? Is the military performing a greater service in protecting me? Are not all lives of equal value?
I don't own a car. Why do my income taxes need to go to the roads? Cannot petrol taxes support the roads?
Mohammad supported his army from plunder. It was entirely self-financing. It was used to gain revenue, not supported by tax. And he kept 25% for himself.
usag...the past 8 years indicate it is you neo-cons who don't have a grasp of the world, government or economics. You've a history of dealing with the likes of Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and even sold weapons illegally in order to get the release of hostages to a terrorist state..Iran. You claim you're fiscally conservatives but the last 3 republican presidents have outspent the last democratic presidents. You fight a war on terror yet you neglect the real terrorists. Clueless you are.
Wittumy, are you saying that the USA should not have assisted the mujaheddin in removing the Soviet army from Afghanistan? So having a Soviet controlled Afghanistan is better than the current situation? And you expect Carter's Brzezinski to be able to see the future? Because it was Carter's administration that started to support Bin Laden.
Eisenhower was a fiscal conservative. He is my idea of a Republican.
noguff.....if what you believe is true ....that communism is a bogus and ineffective form of government Afghanistan would no longer be communist now would it? You support a sovereign nation choosing what's best for another soverein nation. When you allow that to happen sovereign nations such as the USSR, Iraq, Iran, S. Korea can look to our actions and justify theirs in the exact same way. If our form of government is best...people will find a way to achieve what we beld and died for.
I never "complain" about the rich, i complain about the rich and greedy.
I hope there are people who can pay more in the system as i do, I'm happy with where i am in life. I also believe they should pay more into the system; each according to their abilities.
We live in a community where we all care for each other.
I don't bitch about people that have more then myself, my life is fine. And I already said i want to pay like everyone else; through taxes. If you're lucky you will never have to use a public system, but it's fair that there should be one.
gym, you really try hard to insult me, but my life is fine. I just believe in everyone right to have a decent life. I'm willing to pay for that through taxes.
Instead of paying though it by taxes, why don't you just give everybody who wants some money on this site some? Really, if you're willing to pay for more in taxes over the years, why not just cut us a check right now? I have a few bills I'd like to pay off, so about $10,000 is good for me. That's about how much I paid in taxes when I first started working my first job. So I'll wait for my check, but I'd prefer cash.

Socialism refers to economic organization advocating state or cooperative ownership of the means of production, and a society characterized by equal opportunities/means for all individuals. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a revolution, and would be a transitional stage between capitalism and communism
(the final stage in which class dichotomies and the state itself ceased to exist).
"state or cooperative ownership of the means of production"
--Meaning no private ownership. Because even if the state is a "cooperative" owner (co-owner) of your business, it is by definition no privately owned.
"a society characterized by equal opportunities/means for all individuals"
--We already have that, for a long time now.
"Karl Marx posited"
--If you think Marxism & Communism are so great why do you live here? I'll answer: Because you're a coward. You're too afraid to live elsewhere.
Thanks for explaining this story, this story has been blurry. Though I dont see Obama trying to change the two term presidency, to many would cry wolf.
Obama is going to set the country up so he will be able to declare martial law, and recruit the million unemployed people into his personal 'homeland defense' army, hes not going to worry about the legalities.
You are wrong, but besides that the Honduran people want their president back, they have had to quash all demonstrations and shut down all media. This is a military coup from top to bottom, NOT a peoples revolt. The Current government will be removed once international pressure takes hold, or military action taken by Venezuela on behalf of the people and rightful government. I only hope they allow internationals like myself a chance to fight the fascists of Honduras.
No, you are wrong. Nice try at twisting the facts. The country's Supreme Court and the MAJORITY of Hondurans support the oust. As far as the media and protestors being 'squashed' look at North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, and your former Soviet Union.
Stop being a hypocrite and get your facts straight.
The country is almost at civil war situation, there is no "majority" that wanted him out. This is like the military going in an arresting Wilson for passing the 19th amendment. However I can tell very quickly you are a coup supporter, and probable a closet fascist.
He was not seeking permanent power nor unlimited terms, he just wanted to have more then one term. He was legally appealing to the people, and they could have voted it down if they wanted, instead the military took power on behalf of a rouge congress. The bottom line is most of the UN and even Obama have denounced the coup.
His ouster came hours the before polls were to open. Polls which Zelaya was pushing on a constitutional amendment, even AFTER the Supreme Court and the attorney general said it was ILLEGAL!
The Honduran constitution bars changes to a president serving more than one term!
Enough said on the matter
..as for Obamas and the UNs response: nothing unexpected or surprising coming from there.
Then a military backed by a south american nation, with the OK of Zelaya should invade and overthrow the coup. This would be a perfect moment for Venezuela to flex it's military muscles and get the Bolivarian revolution really going.

Cuba. Good job.

usag Jesus provided this additional instruction to a man who had faithfully kept Gods commandments, "If you wish to be complete [or perfect], go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me" (Matt. 19:21). The lesson here isnt that we must give all we have to the poor, but rather to emphasize how Christians should think first of others and less of material possessions (Matt. 6:19-24, 22:36-40).

And he answers, "When you did it to the lowliest of my brothers (and sisters)." Conversely, to the "goats" he says, "Out of my sight, you who are condemned, for I was hungry and you did not feed me." jube there are time limits on welfare...the lazy eventually lose benefits. I don't believe the vast majority of those on welfare are lazy.
wittumy 2 years ago
I don't believe anybody said everybody that was on well-fare was lazy, but you also have to understand that more than just one form of welfare exist. Also Jesus praised charity, not mandated heavy taxation. Only what was needed.
jubeigh13 2 years ago 3
Jube....I know you didn't say everybody on welfare is lazy. USAg said "Of course you don't have a problem with it b/c you want to punish those who are hard working and reward those who aren't" She was refering to welfare as a whole not singling out just the lazy among them. She also said "About time I stop having to pay for the losers in society"...another blanket comment aimed at those who receive Social Security. I don't think that that attitude is what Jesus has in mind for us.
wittumy 2 years ago
Jube....Jesus said we SHOULD take care of the poor and those less fortunate. We didn't. Welfare does and yes I think Jesus would want the wealthiest country on the planet to do whatever it takes to help them. That is "only what is needed"....living on welfare is not a reward as USAG suggests....it's a helping hand.
wittumy 2 years ago
Charity is what takes care of the people who have less, it's a proven fact that well-fare as an entire system does more harm than good. It encourages people to be lazy. Jesus wanted people to give out of the kindness of their hearts, not be forced by the government. That would be contradictory to his entire message. And whether you like it or not, there are plenty of people who do abuse the well-fare system and make it harder for the people who really need it to receive the benefits.
jubeigh13 2 years ago 3
Don't place Jesus as a supporter of the greedy Capitalist system that causes more harm in undeveloped countries than good. Welfare does aliviate the stresses of poorer folks, even if some take advantage of it, it is not our job to judge, but to help even one person and family get ahead.
hiram7474 2 years ago
This has nothing to do with Capitalism, it has to do with charity vs well-fare, and the reasons why charity is far better than well-fare, I suppose you could also throw in the argument of which Jesus would be more supportive of, which of course would be charity, as it's (for the most part) giving for the simple sake of giving, where as well-fare is forcing people to give, and all the passages of the bible I don't believe you'll find Jesus being a great supported of highway robbery.
jubeigh13 2 years ago 2
jube why do church's require us to tithe? Is that not socialism?
wittumy 2 years ago
No, it's actually not at all. For the simple reason that there is no requirement to go to church, all you have to do to circumvent the process is not go. Unlike taxes, which you pay in some form, even if you don't work, you pay a sales tax, about the only way to get around taxes is to be homeless. So no, they are actually nothing alike and share no common conception. I also don't know about you, but you are not mandated to give offering to the church, it's optional, they don't force you.
jubeigh13 2 years ago 3
jube..there is no requirement in this country to have a job. You can choose to be homeless or to take jobs where you don't earn enough to pay taxes. It's optional, they don't force you.
wittumy 2 years ago
And if you choose to be homeless, then you willingly accept that nobody is required to help you in any manner and that it's your responsibility to fend for yourself and it is not society job to provide for you. And yes, there is a requirement in this country to have a job if you want to be anything, own anything, or even not die. That's a stupid comparison to compare being homeless to not going to church. You don't make other people pay for your mistakes by not going to church.
jubeigh13 2 years ago
jube...we're talking about giving our money to be spent for the needy.
Perhaps if more of you became involved in charities the government wouldn't have to.
wittumy 2 years ago
You said it yourself, Jesus wishes for us to be compassionate, he doesn't force us to be compassionate, which is exactly what the government is doing by continuing to aid those who abuse the well-fare system. And no, you are wrong. Billions are given to charity, but you know what? It's those people on well-fare, who are collection a free pay-check because people like you are willing to let them be lazy. Maybe if they'd get a job, I wouldn't have to be robbed by the government.
jubeigh13 2 years ago
jube you don't comprehend well. I said Jesus is to judge not people like you. Absolutely billions are spenton charity but you know what....it's very clear it's not enough. As I said...welfare is not a program where you can remain indefinately because you have to find work or you lose benefits.
By your reasoning charity also contributes to laziness.
wittumy 2 years ago
Then I comprehended perfectly fine. As I never stated I was "judging" anybody, maybe it's you who can't comprehend well? And actually, yes, you can stay on well-fare pretty much indefinitely, and you know...you don't have to be on it indefinitely to abuse the system for a few years. And no, that's not my reasoning, because charity is not FORCED. Why is that so hard to understand, it's not complicated, well-fare is forced, charity is not. Charity is good, too much well-fare is bad.
jubeigh13 2 years ago
jube....when you say you don't wish to help the lazy ...you've obviously judged them. And no you can't stay on wellfare "pretty much indefinately". I understand wellfare is forced...I've never contested that. Why is it so hard to understand charity is not enough?
wittumy 2 years ago
No I haven't. I'm not passing judgment on them, I'm not deciding their fates, I'm simply saying I refuse ( and so should anybody else with a modicum of intelligence) to support lazy people who refuse to support themselves. That's not judging them, that's using common sense. And even if I was "judging" them, I still have no responsibility to support them. And yes, you can stay on well-fare for years, you can collect food stamps for years, you can abuse the system to cause sever damage.
jubeigh13 2 years ago
Jube...I'd thought at first you don't understand what judging is. Your comment "even if I was" confirms you do...but aren't willing to take responsibility for it.
As I've said before I don't like my taxes going towards illegal and idiotic wars or protecting the world. I have the same responsiblity as you....you pay taxes on what the government says you do. If you don't like it become involved for change and obey the laws until they are.

My ideas are simple. I believe people should have freedom, but there should be incentives to do good things and disincentives to do bad things.
Earning money, supporting a family, creating jobs, stimulating the economy, saving money, THESE ARE GOOD THINGS. Don't give them disincentives.
Give disincentives for BAD things. Criminals should have to work and pay for their food and shelter in prison and to repay the victims.

It was an "esquesta de iniciativa ciudadana" according to Ley de Participación ciudadana (Decreto No. 3-2006): ARTÍCULO 3.- Los mecanismos de la Participación Ciudadana entre otros son: 1) Plebiscito; 2) Referéndum; 3) Cabildos abiertos municipales; 4) Iniciativa Ciudadana;

Miguelopezzz 2 years ago

Taxes = theft.
There were no income taxes in the USA before the 16th Amendment in 1913.
But the USA still functioned as a beacon of hope to the world.
CloeBuckingham 2 years ago 3
Cloe....taxes do not equal theft...they represent payment for services such as the military, natural disasters, our roads and highways and many other needs. I'd suggest you look up how much money our country spent on the military and roads in 1913....I think times and needs have changed. Talking about wanting a free ride.......

Wittumy,
Why do I have to pay more to the military than someone who earns less money?

If you're lucky you will never have to use a public system, but it's fair that there should be one.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
gym, you really try hard to insult me, but my life is fine. I just believe in everyone right to have a decent life. I'm willing to pay for that through taxes.
amsterdam78 2 years ago

(the final stage in which class dichotomies and the state itself ceased to exist).
drwalepen15 2 years ago
"state or cooperative ownership of the means of production"
--Meaning no private ownership. Because even if the state is a "cooperative" owner (co-owner) of your business, it is by definition no privately owned.
"a society characterized by equal opportunities/means for all individuals"
--We already have that, for a long time now.
"Karl Marx posited"
--If you think Marxism & Communism are so great why do you live here? I'll answer: Because you're a coward. You're too afraid to live elsewhere.

One also has todeclare allegiance to Marxism-Leninism.
There were some good and bad with Marxism. It wasn't a good system over all, but its much better than the Corporatism we have today.
We need to go back to a less abrasive Capital system for our country to work though.
Who am I kidding. You can't save this country until you completely break it to the ground and rebuild from scratch. (Hyper inflation has to happen)

Obama is going to set the country up so he will be able to declare martial law, and recruit the million unemployed people into his personal 'homeland defense' army, hes not going to worry about the legalities.
GeminiAzules 2 years ago
In modern times the guerrilla warfare tactics have proven less effective to communists; just look at the recent deterioration dealt to the FARC.
The new strategy of the left is to win the presidency and then amend, adjust, alter, and revise a constitution
to perpetuate themselves in power. This should be dealt with by any measure necessary since you will never restore
legitimacy by legal means; its like trying to defeat a card cheat on his terms and rules.
Bravo to the Honduran people.
juanro007 2 years ago
You are wrong, but besides that the Honduran people want their president back, they have had to quash all demonstrations and shut down all media. This is a military coup from top to bottom, NOT a peoples revolt. The Current government will be removed once international pressure takes hold, or military action taken by Venezuela on behalf of the people and rightful government. I only hope they allow internationals like myself a chance to fight the fascists of Honduras.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
No, you are wrong. Nice try at twisting the facts. The country's Supreme Court and the MAJORITY of Hondurans support the oust. As far as the media and protestors being 'squashed' look at North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, and your former Soviet Union.
Stop being a hypocrite and get your facts straight.
juanro007 2 years ago
The country is almost at civil war situation, there is no "majority" that wanted him out. This is like the military going in an arresting Wilson for passing the 19th amendment. However I can tell very quickly you are a coup supporter, and probable a closet fascist.

Again you equate an amendment to a constitution vs
amending a constitution in order to GUARANTEE PERPETUAL POWER
TO A PRESIDENT.
It is not a coup my Bolshevik friend, it is the will of the people.
:-)
juanro007 2 years ago
He was not seeking permanent power nor unlimited terms, he just wanted to have more then one term. He was legally appealing to the people, and they could have voted it down if they wanted, instead the military took power on behalf of a rouge congress. The bottom line is most of the UN and even Obama have denounced the coup.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
His ouster came hours the before polls were to open. Polls which Zelaya was pushing on a constitutional amendment, even AFTER the Supreme Court and the attorney general said it was ILLEGAL!
The Honduran constitution bars changes to a president serving more than one term!
Enough said on the matter
..as for Obamas and the UNs response: nothing unexpected or surprising coming from there.
juanro007 2 years ago
Then a military backed by a south american nation, with the OK of Zelaya should invade and overthrow the coup. This would be a perfect moment for Venezuela to flex it's military muscles and get the Bolivarian revolution really going.
