Ethnic Uyghur is a merge of 10 ethnic groups originated in the Republic of Mongolia and Russia. For thousands of years, they were called Huihu. They were Buddhists nomads who migrated to West China recently. They are converted to Islam relative recently. Turkey is the West most nation of Turkic language. From Japan, Korea, to Mongolia and Russia, many speak Turkic languages. If Europe wants to have an independent Eastern Turkistan, it has to be in the Republic of Mongolia.

Its true they were oppressed in Past by Chinese, but now China is one of the most Powerful Country in to the world. So try to co operate with China, don't be fanatical. Who said to give up religion? I have so many Chinese friends and they r very much tolerance about Islam. China contains 56 ethnic nations and if all other 55 nation could preserve their culture, why couldn't u? Hui are also Muslims, they don't want any free countries. I say again, be diplomatic and try to get more opportunity from Chinese Govt. Because now if u peoples declare of independence, then it will be very easy for kafirs to sealed u as terrorist. The Chinese were poor and oppressed under Manchu Ching dynasty, communism helped them somewhat, but it destroyed their aristocracy and intelligent managerial human capital. Todays Chinese will eventually learn to respect and honor Uyghur culture and people, but I hope it happens soon. Listening to and believing in garbage trash ideology like Pan-turkism will only bring in unnecessary grief for Uyghur people, brother and sisters beware.

Kurdish to Turkey = Uyghur to China. The difference is Kurdish consist 40% of Turkey population but there's no such thing called Kurdish autonomous region. Uyghur consist < 1% Chinese population but they occupied 1/6 of our land. The entire xinjiang province was re-named to xinjiang UYGHUR autonomous region though there's only 45% Uyghur people.
So if u hate PKK terrorist, u should also hate East Turkestan terroist. They are the same thing.

there won't be war between Turkey and China but if there is, i think you underestimate the power of the chinese military. The chinese civilians/settlers are afraid of the uyghurs, that is true, but same can be said of Isreali settler in the west banks of the palestinians. however that is not a problem for the chinese since they live in their own community.

Not all people support the government, but all support the claim of the land. you forgot that china is under a central government. Their military is organized under a central command. Their army, and their air force work together. I don't care if there's 300 million or a billion turkic people. They are spread across a dozen countries with their own national interest. Most of central asia is allied with china under the Shanghai cooperation organization.

Xinjiang population is less than 20 million with only 45% being uyghur. that's only 8 million uyghurs. The PLA ground force is 1.6 million with 1.5 million reserves and paramilitary units. You're telling me 8 million Uyghurs that include females, elderlies and children using crude weapons can fight against the more advance and trained 3 million soldiers, lol. If China wants a peace in Xijiang, first communist party should agree to rename Manchu name of the province, meaning " New frontier " to " Uyghurstan ", in 1949-1954 years our leaders were tried to do this, but you prefer to kill them.
