Bono's voice is actually quite good here. I came here to check it out after listening to old 1980s versions. Is it difficult for a singer who often sings falsetto to preserve that range ? Jimmy Page's declined very quickly, in his mid-20s I believe. And awesome that he worked in Jerusalem....

@9P9T6 Yeah i was thinking exactly the same. And if you listen to the 1987 versions, i even find that his voice is more forced than today, for example the "wide awake" is kind of shouted in 1987 while it's sung in 2011.

A beautiful performance. Though Bono's voice is still great, he can't sing certain things anymore (or not often) like part of "Bad" and the end of "With or Without You", so the crowd sings it instead, that's nice. And this audience is one of the best I've ever seen, that's an amazing thing since not everyone is a U2 fan, but throughout the set you can hear the crowd singing quite a bit.
