Hitchin' A Ride was off their nimrod. album, which was a really good album... their last good one. Green Day and NOFX was all I listened to back in the mid 90's. Their new shit is nothing compared to nimrod., Dookie, Kerplunk, 1039 smoothed out slappy hours..

Just my opinion. That was back when they didn't give a shit about anybody. Now, they're more concerned with making sure their eyeliner is on just right.

I agree that they have no idea how Green Day was in say '94. I remember when Dookie came out. I'm sure some of them might, but the ones that don't can't seem to tell just how much the band has changed to appeal to the masses. I just can't respect that. You look at a band like Tool. The natural progression of their music is more than enough to appeal to the masses. And if it wasn't, they would be still be playing it anyway.. Because they love it.
