  • This is laughable

  • this is embarrassing... everything is taken SO out of context.

  • There is no controversy. Creationists have nothing to offer whereas all modern biology works based on the fact that evolution works. These guys are full of shit, it falls off of their mouth every second. Btw, Pasteur's discoveries are perfectly consistent with evolution, spontaneous generation is consistent with creation.

  • Since "most creationists" say that of course I have to accept it as a credo.LOL.

  • I love these videos. I really do. Nowhere can one find something so utterly funny than to watch a couple of these Neanderthals trying to torture scientific principles until they seem to back their ridiculous claims. This one isn't so much funny as pathetic. I almost feel guilty like I was laughing at a couple of retards. I can't honestly believe that anyone with a "Dr." in front of his name, even if it's Doctor of Theology, could possibly believe this stuff.

  • Guys, looking less greedy would be a great help in your conquest to open congregations wallets. Perfecting body language also should be done, don't use gestures usually associated with lying and beng under stress.

  • Hmm, Pasteur says don't put anything forward unless it can be proven by experimentation... uh, OK lets apply that to the Christian god then shall we...?

This is obviously out of date as cells have now been created from amino acid proteins in the lab. I've read and own Eric Lerners book, don't necessarily agree with it, but he would be horrified to see it mentioned here. And he is not a "leading theorist" he's a fringe theorist (but at least one with a grasp of the scientific method)

  • Snake oil salesmen.

  • you should watch, dont fish and drive!

  • I'd love to see the context of that "unscientific statement" of Dawkins'. They never provide the context, do they.

  • "Once you become a non-atheist" .....as in a non- not believer?

  • @lostallmymirth non-atheist is a believer of somekinds.

  • I wonder why they left out the other part of Judge Jones' ruling where he chastised the creationist side for lying so much.

  • The Big Bang theory also NEVER postulate that the universe was once composed of matter and antimatte in equal amounts. Anti Matter is VERY hard to form naturally, and even then when you DO do it you only make a TINY amount even if you do so for YEARS (a TINYYY fraction of a milligram has been made despite our producing it for a few decaes), the majority of the actual Big Bang all took place in less than a second (although it's still technically ongoing).

  • MAYBE we have the academia and court system on our side becaues we don't peddle bullshit and have proof for our statements?

Pasteur's theory applied mainly to COMPLICATED life (i.e. animals) spontaneously arising. Evolution is not spontaneuous. Even abiogenesis is not spontaneous. It is a process that takes nearly a billion years to just get an ASTOUNDINGLY SIMPLE CELL.

Also, Cell Theory says that the cells is the smallest LIVING thing, but it is still made of MANY nonliving ones.

  • These guys claims to be scientists, but they commit what I think is the greatest intellectual shame, they confuse evolution with abiogenesis, and claim it happened by chance. THESE ARE NOT DIFFERENT FROM SOMEONE AS UNEDUCATED AS RAY COMFORT

  • More quote mining and arguments from authority, and now they're adding threats. STILL no substance to their idiocy.

  • Judge John E. Jones III said, "Just because scientists cannot explain today how biological systems evolved does not mean that they cannot, and will not, be able to explain them tomorrow." Not because he was saying in faith that it would be proven but just that evolutionary theory is a testable theory. He ruled that it was not alright to have a disclaimer about evolution on textbooks because intelligent design is not a testable theory.

  • What the hell is Evolutionism? Evolution is a thing. The theory of evolution is a thing. Evolutionary biology is a thing. Science is a thing. Evolutionism is not a scientific term, it is a creationist term. These presentors are INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING their viewers. I'm so sick of this nonsense. CREATIONISTS, please go back to school and learn science before you try to talk about it. Evolution says nothing about abiogenesis.

  • These people are retarded.

  • Funny - If the god these guys believe in is real, they will be going straight to hell for their blatant lies and deception!

    Ironic isn't it?

  • I think that God will send them to heavenly school for a very long time until they have learnt to think rationally for themselves.

  • @richdorks73 The evolutionists speech relies more and more on subjectivity and attacks rather than facts. It's easy to say "they are lying" and all the evolutionists seals will applaud you! That's an easy one. It's about time you recognize that the level of questioning of evolution is today more fierce and counts with more evidence than what it was 40 years ago. But scientists need to keep their jobs and research funds must continue coming in...so the lie must be perpetuated.

  • @raponte1955

"It's easy to say "they are lying" and all the evolutionists seals will applaud you! That's an easy one."

Actually, you DO realize that most Creationists say Carl Baugh is lying, or at least misguided--right?

  • What an incredible array of evidence these guys present.

I am overwhelmed by the weight of evidence here.

They really put consensus in its place.

  • Ah, misinformation and quote mining. The favourite tools of the average creationist

  • Make that average thinkers = all creationists.

  • There is no such thing as 'macroevolution'. It is an arbitrary designation to help people distinguish small biological changes from larger ones. There is also no real concept of species. It, too is a label to help us compare lesser and greater variation among organisms. Because the men in this video do not recognize this, they are disseminating bunk to uninformed viewers, thus doing them a great disservice. I don't think this video ever had any intention of disseminating good information.

  • Science has shown that those supposed human tracks are actually those of another species of dinosaur

  • Great, he's Kirk Cameron 0.1. And a fearmonger. Mong that fear, "doc."

  • Don't forget to keep mining those quotes!

    2 Parts Ignorance + 1 Part Fear = Creationism

  • i'm so bored. i challenged myself to watch this, but these guys are such bullshitters, it's so hard to stay focussed.

  • I feel sorry for you. Must be hard to get a job.

  • This is a guide on how to lie and obfuscate about science based on a series of false premises that will inevitably make the non-believer not believe you anyway. This is an excellent tool in deconverting people from your own egregiously stupid belief system.

  • I absolutely LOATHE willfully ignorant religious douchebags. They are a pox on humanity, and the sooner we do away with them, either through education or busting heads, the better.

  • Complete misunderstanding of evolution. There is only one difference between microevolution and macroevolution: the time frame. The process involved is called "natural selection, and it has been observed and demonstrated repeatedly: i.e over and over and over and over and over again. Perhaps this is why it has been accepted universally amongst the scientific community.

  • They have argued that already. Did you even watch their videos?

  • Who are "they"?

  • What does the Big Bang and Abiogenesis have to do with evolution? and even if evolution was disproved, that doesn't make an invisible sky god any more likely or possible. Where did this 'god' come from?

  • God is eternal. Look up the definition.

  • Sausages are telepathic. Look up the definition!

  • Nuts.

  • "Anything beyond one chance in ten to the fiftieth has ZERO chance of occurring."

Great analysis Carl. You're only off by a factor of infinity. This is perhaps the most asinine thing I've ever heard.

  • Because we can count that high.

  • Huh?

  • umm lets see non-life material suddenly turning itself into cells at a rapid level that is scientifically impossible; your theories always changing, fallible. Design consistent constant truth, science has not explained, can not explain, will never explain. If you believe the world came from nothing you have more faith than me.

  • Up to 15 blatent lies, and more straw men arguments and appeal to authority.

I'll bet they say that Evolution is "just a theory" when they sited quite clearly the "Cell Theory"

  • how life started is not evolution, evolution deals with the change life had after it was here. the field of science that explains how life came from non life is abiogenesis. and i will use a favorite of christian phylosophers, you don't need an explanation of the explanation to make it valid. so even if we still did not know of abiogenesis it would not make evolution false.

  • Evolution has already been proven at the very least misleading and full of holes.

  • This isn't the 1920s anymore. Join us in the 21st century. Reasonable doubt has not existed for evolution since the discovery of genetics.

  • @federalD Is there proof that reasonable doubt did not existed for evolution since the discovery of genetics? I had doubts when I was taking micro/molecular biology. It explained many but not all.

  • @dlrnjs2 Judging by your grammatical errors, I'm having doubts that you attended college at all.

There are always unanswered questions when it comes to science. Science looks for those questions. But the process and mechanics of evolution have been explained thoroughly and consistently enough to remove any serious doubt that evolution does in fact happen. I'm not saying that there aren't details of it that are up for debate, but that evolution occurs is an undeniable fact.

  • @federalD All amino acids in proteins are ‘left-handed’, while all sugars in DNA and RNA, and in the metabolic pathways, are ‘right-handed’.Homochirality

A 50/50 mixture of left- and right-handed forms is called a racemate or racemic mixture. Which is? toxic to life!!.there is ZERO chance of RNA forming by chance or on? a primordial earth or even under amazing conditions in labs.and ZERO chemistry to support it..all we do is copy information, thats not creating anything!!..atheists are morons

  • @federa LOL..RNA has been copied using templates and bases..and without digital information and DNA..this RNA world is going no where..you also still have the major problem of Homochirality..Inserting bases into molecules is not creating anything..its copying..I see the media has brainwashed ? you..Please tell me the next step lets what you make next lets say you thousands of pairs of RNA..You have ZERO molecular machines..for assembly instructions...RNA molecules floating around is life?..LOL

  • @federalD .In the time of darwin they had microscopes that could not even see the cell or DNA or RNA..They assumed and envisioned the cell as a glob of jelly appearing by chance in some warm little pond..,you are going against well established laws..louis pasteur..proved it wrong in the time of Darwin..stanley miller proved it impossible because of Homochirality.and with Toxic tar and unusable amino acids .and all we are doing today is copying information like what Venter did..

  • @5tonyvvvv I am not even going to bother responding to something paraphrased from the Institution for Creation Research, anyone who doesn't blindly believe anything they say can see that the ICR has had a history of deliberately attempting to mislead people through lies and ignorance. I do find it ironic, however, that you use the term "brainwashed." Honestly, these are the same people who claim that man lived with dinosaurs, despite mountains of evidence to the contrary.

  • @5tonyvvvv Scientists are constantly re-evaluating the information that science has given us so that it may be better applied. If anything valid had ever been found to discount any part of the evolutionary theory, we would be hearing it from a scientist, not a person or a group with a vested interest in attempting to falsify what they view as a threat to their world view, particularly when that person or group has been known to lie and deceive in order to protect their interests.

  • @5tonyvvvv People like you will do everything you can to distort reality to your beliefs, because you simply cannot accept reality as it is. You in particular are probably doing so in order to keep hold of the security blanket you call your faith. Groups like the ICR are doing it because gullible, ignorant sheep like you will give them money for "doing god's work." Their vested interest in your faith forces them to brainwash, lie, and mislead you whenever it suits them.

  • @federalD Insulting me is not helping you..just making you look more foolish..I see you are a moron that has no clue what Homochirality is..

  • @5tonyvvvv I am pointing out that the source you are retrieving your information from is not the least bit credible, and in fact has a history of lies and deception. All you are putting forward is an argument from ignorance. You are pointing out a mystery in science, and it is just that, something we do not yet understand. But it is not a flaw. This does not in any way "disprove" evolutionary theory. It does not disprove the fact that natural selection occurs.

  • @5tonyvvvv I am not insulting you, I'm trying to get you to see the truth. The people writing the articles you're blindly referencing have a vested interest in misleading you. They are basically saying, "Look! A mystery in evolution! Evolution must therefore be wrong! Creationism wins!" Completely ignoring basic reality. How many hundreds of times have creationists pointed out gaps in the theory of evolution, claiming that their god lies there, only to have those gaps filled with real evidence?

  • @5tonyvvvv How many countless times have you seen creationists claim that there are absolutely no transitional fossils in a particular line of species, only to have hundreds of examples thrown back at them? Mysteries in science are innumerable, but not understanding something does not make those attempting to understand it "morons" as you would claim, nor does it give one such as yourself license to posit an unsubstantiated explanation.

  • @federalD keep rambling..oh you mean animals that change of course..but there are limits to there OWN KIND!!

  • @5tonyvvvv *facepalm* I don't know why I bother thinking that some of this might get through to you when you do not know the difference between "there" and "their," but for some reason I keep trying. There is not a single peer-reviewed scientific article of any credibility that supports the claim that animal diversity is limited to their own kind. Using the term "kind" in itself leaves your statement in ambiguity.

  • @federalD LOL..Pull that 2 foot Dildo out of your ass..Moron..your saying cells somehow formed from chemicals which is impossible!!!!!!..Then fish into amphibians...and so on up to man...some imagination you morons have..

  • @5tonyvvvv Weren't you just saying something about insults making you look foolish?

If your assertions were valid, what explanation would you offer in the place of abiogenesis and evolution? I'm just curious.

I could not even begin to explain how terribly flawed and misinformed your understanding of evolution is. Do you know anything about natural selection?

  • @federalD WOW..your really ignorant natural selection wont help anything..It also never explains arrival of the fittest..you are really lost..and not worth my time..

  • @5tonyvvvv I find the phrase "your really ignorant" incredibly humorous in its irony.

Anyhow, that would be a "no" on whether you know anything about natural selection. Now, would you answer my other question? Again, if your assertions were valid, what explanation would you offer in place of abiogenesis and evolution? How would you explain the existence of life on Earth?

  • @federalD Natural selection..LOL..You would have nothing to select from!!!!..as these "so called primitive cells" died off..information would be LOST..Your not gaining anything new..it would be going backwards!!

  • @5tonyvvvv Natural selection does not deal with abiogenesis. It deals with the diversity of life. We've already established that you don't understand natural selection. Now, for the third time, please offer a more valid explanation than what science provides for the origins and diversity of life.

  • @federalD You need life in order for it to evolve..You morons want to separate abiogenesis from evolution..In which you have broken well established laws going back to louis pasteur biogenesis...here is your twisted demented Logic...Tell an architect of skyscrapers you want a skyscraper built using no sort of foundation no base what so ever. let me know when this great feat of engineering can be done.just have the building float in air..see what they tell you..

  • @5tonyvvvv I understand that in order for life to evolve it must exist, and I agree that abiogenesis is not fully explained or understood. The fact is, however, that life does exist and that it does evolve, and that we understand a great deal about how life evolves, there is a world of evidence supporting this fact. Your analogy makes no sense, I am not arguing that life did not have to come into existence at some point. I have been asking you to provide a better explanation than abiogenesis.

  • where did matter come from? lol thats why they're trying to find the higgs boson scalar elementary particle at CERN...

should science research stop? i dont think so.

  • lmao Pasteur said those things around 1860 something... way BEFORE the modern scientific studies regarding ABIOGENESIS, why do they use such outdated information :S ?

  • Wow quote mining. We dont need evolution, we know it to be true haha. Dont you love context!

  • This is complete and utter bullshit! This man is twisting everything! i have one thing to say to him "dinosaur fossils", and i know he will say "God put those there to test me", well, you know what i think? "God put you here to test me"

Living things are made up of simple molecues (e.g. phospholipids) which are easy to assemble. simple molecules can assemble and copy themselves easliy. Religion will die. It is inevitable! It's death is over due, it's holding us back!

  • abiogenesis is a lot more believable than magical god creation.

Pasteur did his experiments almost 100 yrs before anyone knew about DNA. Also, science doesn't stop and accept anything as proof, it continues to explore and criticize old science.

100 yr-old science is ancient science. Today, evolution is accepted as fact by the scientific community.

  • I want to punch these fucking lieing cunts in the face..

  • but I bet the virgin birth ,burning talking bushes /snakes, world floods, parting the see, all a the stuff in the bible make perfect sense to you right ???

  • Well there IS a reason ya know, why they are called miracles? A miracle by definition is something that goes against the laws of nature. So yeah it does make perfect sense

  • these guys know there lying yet they say there christian's , or are they just stupid.

the human footprint were proved to be fake just like everything else on this video.

  • Anthony flew is a corageous man!

  • some idiots will still believe in their theories even when the evidence indicates the opposite a nuckle head will be an nuckle head! Vive Pasteur!

  • Geez! Creationist. Oh boy. Someone tell me the big difference in what the bible says about the start of life thats all that different from Evolutions point of view. It started somehow. We are made up of material from this universe. Why is it so hard to believe evolution? Do you really think we came about in an instant? Did god snap his almighty fingers and thus we appeared without process? Christians want their magic to be real, but it really isn't. Hey christians, how do we cure cancer?Praying?

  • These lads cant tell the difference between evolution and abiogenisis. Also they are quote-mining like crazy, and assuming that a few problems ith evolution mean creationism is true by default.

    Idiots.

  • This video makes me feel sick. What frauds!

  • This is typical redirection to divert attention from their own lack of evidence. They say nothing that "proves" creationism. They just point at gaps and fill in "God did it." News flash. ID is an assumption based on the gaps of information... ie. lack of evidence. A real scientific theory is supported by evidence!!!

  • Typical quotemining-crap going on.

Fuck god and jesus, you lying bible-maggots.

  • These clowns are actors.

  • What a bunch of lying phonies, these creationist maggots.

Always the same nonsense: ""i was once an atheist or evolutionist""-crap

If it was true, they wouldn't say it in the way they're saying it now.

Stupid fuckin' idiots, fuck them and their bible-nonsense.

  • The is also a price to pay for telling lies.

  • I thought the same thing about the supernatural: gods, fairies, spirits etc.

  • This tape should be shown in a critical thinking course. As an example of logical fallacies

  • Could we pleeeasse have one positive assertion indicative of these people's position?

Why do creationists like torturing brain cells with quote mining, logical fallacies, straw men and arguments from ignorance.

What do they hope to gain from it?

Oh well, from a 'militant evolutionist' point of view this kind of stuff is very comforting

  • Such powerfull scientific rebutal! I am so ready now to throw away all our current scientific knowledge in favor of creationist views. And just think of the new "scientific" thoeries that can now move humanity forward!

    1. The Talking Snake Theory

    2. The Yummy Fruit Theory

    3. The Ditzy Female Theory

    4. The 600-year-old-guy in a Boat Theory

  • One word for you: Metaphor.

  • Metaphor. Yes. Most certainly agreed. Well then, we can agree that these things can be taught in a Creative Arts course. Or perhaps Philosophy or Religion. But most certainly NOT a Science course.

  • Do you honestly think the Israelites were reading this metaphorically? Or the authors/editors thought it to be metaphor? They list geneologies for crying out loud! This was a part of their believed-to-be-history all the way up to Jesus. Its a progressive story of exile and restoration of a people united to Abraham and then on back to Adam. The story of how they will be rescued by Yahweh. They thought these stories to be true.

Unfortunatley, they didn't anticipate evolutionary theory.

  • This is great stuff! I love watching this when I can because they bring up good points and they have shown some simple experiments on how the earth's layers could form during a flood. To those of you who are just slinging insults... you do so only because you know they are right and have nothing to bring to the debate. Evolution is a fairytale and I wish people weren't so blind to it. Don't fall for the fallacy of consensus!!!

  • dum ass go to collage and see how stupid what they say is . buuurr

  • I believe it is you who needs a higher degree of learning. Might I suggest figuring out how to spell "dumb" and "college" correctly? Also I should note that your sentence structure needs to be worked on as well. Have a nice day!

  • oh I do apologize. I was trying to communicate to those people how believe this shit . English is my second language

but I can still tell the difference between bull,

  • Well, I believe this bull but I can understand one perfectly who uses correct grammar and sentence structure.

I'm sorry you've bought into the idea of evolution. I pray you may one day find the way.

  • which one of the hundreds of god do you think I should start believing in, they all seam so similar , I not sure about all the stoning in the christian religion , and I think Joseph smith has been proved to have made it up there scientology but I don't what to loose all my money , there way too many to choose from

  • The stoning is not part of the christian religion, it is part of the traditional jewish laws. Joseph Smith IS a false prophet (the book of mormon reads like a vcr manual). I would suggest reading the bible, read the new testament first. You'll be surprised that there's no mention of putting one to death because they've behaved badly.

  • I have read the bible I was brought up CofE , why do you not think the bible is false prophecy , after all the storeys can all be found in at least 3 other older pagan religions ,

  • One must look at the evidence, true the bible was started by Moses. Therefore don't you think that before that people I dunno talked about these things and it spread before the bible was written? It's like seeing an event with other people and you tell your story then later down the line someone writes a story about it. Does it mean the story is invalid if it happens to correlate with what other people had witnessed?

  • so that would be admitting that history has proved that several pagan religions going back 3000ys BC had a man born of the sun god in December resurrected in spring , jesus is a carbon copy of other religions,

  • What pagan religion are you reffering to specifically? I'll tell you this much, Horus is not one to use. Horus and Jesus' stories are nowhere near "carbon copies."

  • Omg. where did all the water go that was from the flood scare bear? How the fuck would there be genetic deversity in animals and how the fuck would there be plant life of there was a flood. You are so retarded its ridiculous. How the hell could one man build a boat so big? How could he capture dangerous animals? How could he feed the animals?

  • If you want an answer be prepared to ask nicely please? I do not respond to people who use foul language or put down anyone on any level. I do not respond to bullying responses or just plain attacks. If you would like to debate this like an adult do you think you could act like one for a moment?

  • Haha ok I apologise. Now please answer all those questions

  • Epic fail: They point out Louis Pasteur's quote, "Do not put forth anything you can not prove by experimentation". What do they believe again?

  • These two are morons. I can't believe Jackson actually has a science degree. My only question: what sort of work in "creation science" has he done? Any? Can someone cite a study or an academic paper?

  • Oooh, be careful. That tricky word Dr. He may not be a scientist at all. He may have a doctrine in English or language, but he can still have that word Dr. before his name. I doubt he's a scientist...If so, shame on him for distorting evidence.

  • I read that he has a masters in biology and a PhD in education or some such. Nevertheless, he calls himself a "creation scientist. So--let's see the science.

  • All I see here is quote mining, logical fallacies, outdated information, and disproved arguments. Terrible, just terrible.

  • so basically all you religious people who think we are retarded, you just can't appreciate the beauty and rarity of life, and how nature works, without giving credit to an unexplainable all powerful being... because really really random and unlikely is impossible... but impossible miracle is plausible? If your gonna say that something is unlikely, don't then say God is explainable.. what utter contradictions! Go to school!

  • evolution =/= atheism.

Its not that hard to get. I for one see a greater grandeur of creation, by the means of evolution. If god is all powerful and could choose to either:

    A. Poof all things into existence in a set state from which no new "types" of creatures are ever created.

    B. Create a set of laws that would govern the universe and create an unimaginably complex web of chemical and physical reactions that would bind together all life and matter in the universe.

    Id go with "B" myself.

  • @leafybean

yes I don't understand why they don't just go with that type of idea. So much less cookoo

  • The stupid...it buurns!

In order to criticise evolution you...well you need to know something about it.

You don't obviously. How can you confuse abiogenesis and Evolutionary theory?

Well, then again it is common among idiots/ creationists

  • Notice Creationists always have to pick the most unflattering picture of people like Richard Dawkins?

WOW! A mere three years later, scientists still can't explain everything about biological science!

There MUST be a GOD... "Ignorance" be thy name.

Also, Pasteur debunked the belief that mice and maggots appeared fully formed. He said nothing about Abiogenesis.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how many lies creationists can tell with a straight face.

How can they sleep at night?

  • "Once you stop believing in Evolution you are considered less intelligent." - Yeah, and once you start believing in a flat earth it's the same thing. Unfair, isn't it?

Once again they assume a cell came about by accident, which is not the case.

Evolution may have a few holes that can be filled "tomorrow", however, the proof for evolution is already here today. We just don't know all the details of HOW it happened just yet.

  • Pasteur discredited "spontaneous generation", the belief that maggots just popped into existence, when really the eggs were put there by flies. He didn't say living things cannot arise.

Evolution DOES work on experimentation. You can predict what fossils should be found, and later find em. And they make plenty of tests with bacteria.

Lerner may not believe in the Big Bang, but in his book he proposed an alternative explanation for how the universe came to be,...

  • which doesn't require God anymore than the Big Bang does. Also, he was heavily criticized, so I don't know how scientific his anti-Big Bang views were.

Paluxy tracks: the "human" footprints were eroded dinosaur footprints. Even creationists have withdrawn their claims they were human, and the website "Answers in Genesis" lists em under the arguments that should no longer be used.

  • wait there's a website of arguments that should or should not be used by creationists? My views are shifting towards evolution as I read this.

  • This is sad, all Dr. Jackson does is quote mine and offers no real arguments.

  • Ostritch or emu footprints

  • ...abiogenesis...

  • Scientists DO know how evolution happened.

  • Arggh! The stupid. It hurts!!!

  • Their argument that a modern cell could self arange is a common creationist straw-man.

Early cells were a thousand times more simple than a modern cell and only needed basic chemichal reactions to form.
