layout looks good I have built the station as well looks great, you did a good job there... see a few terraced houses as well from scalescenes.... so do you think railmaster is the way to go then.
I think abotu a weekend from printing it out to completely finished.
The kit is the large station kit from Scalescenes(this kit does come with a smaller canopy)I also used the large overall canopy which I printed out and built three of and glued next to each other.
The ballast is Woodland scenics light grey fine.

@jasonandjoesrailway
Yes, there is a tab at the top of the main screen for creating your own layout, it's very easy to do.
Try downloading the free evaluation copy, the Hornby TrakMat layout is installed by default.
The only limit on this trial version is how many locos and points you can use.

@johnnyboy349 It all depends on what exactly you want it to do.
For me it does what I want and when the track detectors are released it will make it even better.
Yes there is a lot of PC control software out there but I think Railmaster is easier to use than the free ones although maybe not as sophisticated.
It's not as complex as Railroad & CO but then that costs a fortune, for things I will never use.
You first need to work out what you want the software to do for you.

can you use bachmann loco with it ???
4472100 5 months ago
@4472100
You can use any loco that has a DCC decoder in it.
Hornby don't make N-gauge locos!"
All of the locos you see on the layout are N-gauge and from:- Tomix(Japan) Dapol or Graham Farrish.
You MUST have the Hornby DCC Elite controller as the Railmaster software program will on work with this controller.
