  • Yugo, learn to spell before you flame on people retard.

  • that was very interesting! i listened to it in school while doing math so it was awsome!

  • He kinda forgot to mention about the turbine engine, oh well. This was a fun vid!

  • when i watch d video at natural geographic channel some researchers find the lost ship of titanic i dont know is its true but its look like true........

  • I can't read your post real well but it sounds like your wondering who found the Titanic. A team of American and French led by Rob Ballard found the wrecksite in the 80's and even though the credit was shared the French part of the team felt they had done all the hard stuff and the American part did all the easy stuff and the American part found it. So the french went down and recovered a bunch of things and showed them on a tv show, they even opened up a safe on air.

  • At 00:42-00:45 he has got it wrong, the two engines only powered the two wing propelers, a turbne engine powered the center propeler.

  • The Britannic was the last built of three virtually identical ships (all built from the same plan).

The Olympic was built first, her keel laid in 1909.

The Titanic was the middle sister.

The Britannic never saw paid passenger service.

She was requisitioned by the British Admiralty during WWI for use as a hospital ship before she could begin a career as a commercial liner, and was sunk off Crete by either a German mine or torpedo.

  • Not Crete, it was the island of Kea

  • As you see at sec 53 :

    left Titanic

    middle Britannic

    right Olympic

  • other two were Britannic and Olympic ...

  • what happened with the other two?

  • Britannic was torpedoed in 1916 after being converted to a hospital ship(hence the green strip, white hull, and red cross) and the olympic set several speed records but eventually couldnt keep up with cunards mauretannia and was sold for scrap in the late 1930's.

  • it was actually found out to be a mine that sunk the Britannic

  • brittanic was sunk by a torpedo or mine in the meddeteranean sea, and the olympic was scrapped in the 1930's

  • I tend to believe she struck a mine.

  • they found black and red paint on an iceberg so that also prooves the she hit and it.

  • No, I meant the Britannic struck a mine. Everyone knows the Titanic hit a berg! haha

  • there were three of them?!?!?!

  • ok..

  • OH WOW!!!

  • O_O
