@thompk12 I'm with you. I feel "they" control the market. Therefore after "they" have sold so much of this precious metal. (bleed the shirt off your back) it will collapse too.
Cool, another uneducated moron who has no idea what is going on in the world! Inflation is on its way? They why is deflation the real issue we are facing today? You act as if gold is destined to shoot up any second now, but every real speculator out there knows that is it the same baloney that is being advertised on FOX news. Don't get me wrong, diversify your investments, but believing that the greenback is destined to fall soon is just ignorant.
IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. Theyre made in America and look exactly like the flag of Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral II in the center of the 13 stars. This flag is now in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. They make great gifts for family, friends and recovering Liberals.
Roger that Geo. @cityguyusa - Gold has been treasured for over 5,000 years and has endured to this day. America used to print money based on our gold deposits, however, today America prints money that is backed by nothing. Cortez killed thousands just to get their gold. Gold is used in aircraft wiring and has many other uses so I would not say it has no value.
Currency is a human extension due to technological evolution, the gold isnt the issue it was the silver certificate in 1964 that left the doors wide open for inflation, you cant eat gold or silver anyway. If the coinage were still silver your dollar would be worth the price of an ounce now 18-20.00. This alone proves that this government is against the people and is the grounds for dissolution in the nature of the declaration being self evident, the issue is that people become consumed
The money should not be controlled by private bankers, Thomas Jefferson said that control of money is stronger than standing armies, this relates to the psycho political war we are in since 1890 Marxists Indoctrination in the INevitiblity of gradualness, ties to the slow deteriorations of principles of the people through education religion etc, the point being that the people are the government the ideology of government is the Illusion of the authority in transference to unity.
gold was only 300.00 about five six years ago that would be over 300% now is not the time to buy it because the whole system is a scam anyway, the key is to short,
Why does gold store value? Although it's somewhat rare it's not really as useful as other rare metals so why does it have value? Why not Platinum and palladium or ...
In your question is all the theory of Economics! In 3 lines; gold stores value, because it takes work to extract it from the earth. And the ammount of work required to extract certain quantity, can be equalized by the ammount of work to make some bread! (The assumption is: 'work is value') But printing dollars and putting ceros on the bill gives no guarantee.. that's all. Platinum and Palladium are also a store of value, Copper is it also ... , althrough they may be less liquid!
@unisailor What a feeble and simple minded explanation. I can only pray you are not taking care of any loved ones money, because you are on the fast track to losing it if you think like that!
There is massive unemployment, so productivity will go down. In addition, most people will be paying down their debts with compounding interests. Ultimately, the Fed is the master of all industry and commerce. Why? Because any entity that controls the volume and the flow of money can bankrupt the people with inflation first then with deflation. The banks make people and break them. That is a simple rule. Deflationary periods are harvest times for banks.
Tell me VisionVictory, where is the inflation? Are the banks lending money out to the average Joe? Inflation is caused when the money is being lent out to the people and used by the people. This creates a demand for commodities, goods, and services, so the price goes up with diminishing supplies. If the government gives this money directly to the people, you will see inflation. If they don't , you will see deflation. Very few banks are lending money, and most banks are pretty much insolvent.
Inflation doesn't necessarily mean PEOPLE are getting money from banks, the Fed made trillions of new dollars and released them to the big boys needing bailouts etc and the white collar pimps pimping the sheeple without the sheep knowing.
You want mine! I couldn't find a buyer! However, I found buyers for my home which I bought and flipped for a 50k profit! Now there's a golden ticket and I didn't get it from a wonka bar either!
I wonder if Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and other good hearted right wing christians watch this channel?
You Loose!!!!!!!! He He He He
Even gold won't help you in this.
Get ready, taxes are coming your way! Look into your hearts, Jesus will help you. Get into the "Love thy Neighbor!" spirit and help your fellow americans.
Get ready to pay your taxes to this nation through inflation!!!!!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
If the tsunami hits we are all in trouble gold or not! The US is just not going to be the big shot is has always been. We are going to be more of an equal in this world. double digit unemployment is going to be the norm but deflation will compensate. One salary will support a household like in the fifties. It's just a deleveraging process. Buying gold is not the answer. The rich are just being taxed through inflation! Do I care? Yes! I'm glad! We need this procces to help our children!
I believe if you can get a good buy on U.S. silver 90% coins at melt value, it really is the best...Because there will always be a collector price if silver would fall badly...Where if buying bars or just plain silver its only worth the current price of silver...But of course you have to buy right as you say..If buying rolls of 1/2 dollars 1964 or older you can buy around $130 a roll in B U condition...That's right about the weight value per coin of $6.50 each..for now its good.
Actually, unemployment is not all that bad, i mean we get to stay home and collect unemployment befit indefinitely and our homes will not be foreclosed and we get unlimited food stamps to buy food. So I don't know why people are complaining.
Buy gold and you'll lose your investment if you need to sell it -- but you won't lose it all. When gold was around $1,000 (selling price), I went to a gold BUYER at a mall and they offered about $300 (So if I needed to cash my gold in, I would lose about 66% of my investment). In a hyperinflation scenario, gold MIGHT triple, in which case you wouldn't lose much to the gold vultures.
Since I first started coming to Thailand in the 80's, the dollar has lost about 35% in exchange with the baht. That tells me all I need to know about the fate of the dollar as a currency.
economic tsunami? so you say buy gold and silver cuz you think the dollar is dying? ya know i knew something was weird cuz by my house theres so many abandoned businesses i mean alot, its like walking through a scary movie. but lets say you were right and the dollar was losing its value, couldnt they just establish a new currecy or no im not very familiar with economics at this level
I always like your vids and enjoy the information. But I have a question for you.
Ezekiel 7:19 "They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity."
Is it wiser to teach hoarding wealth or lead the lost to Jesus? Which holds more ultimate value?
Daniel has a religious channel, this is devoted to economics mainly. As for ezekiel 7:19 if this isn't the end of the age you will need gold. Better safe then sorry. Even Joseph stored up food and such for hard times. If you aren't preparing I can't help you.
It's not exactly "hoarding" wealth if you are doing it to survive and protect your family. Talk to the Wall Street power structure about moral hazard before you judge the common man.
one hint for everyone buying silver and gold-buy at coin shows in order to avoid sales tax or purchase $1000 or more at one time (at least in Texas). Secondly, buy %90/ 40 silver coins in bulk; third, pay cash so you don't leave a paper trail if you are paranoid about confiscation; 4th--tell few and trusted individuals that you own metals.
I pull as much cash out of my bank account every paycheck and convert it to silver, Yen and Renminbi, just in case I have to flee the country short notice.
The metals have been a currency and have had value since the beginning of human history. Over 3,800 paper currencies have become worthless. If i had to pick a safe haven for a post U.S. collapse world, I'm sticking with gold.
People who own gold haven't lost a dime, so screw the rally, how about NOT being down in the last 2 years. Does NOT being down work for you? Or are you still sad youre missing out on watching the Dow go from 14,000 to 10,000?
@visionvictory When I was mining gold, it was 380 an ounce.. Now it's over 1000. There is a reason behind the push for buying gold. The price has quadrupled since then. While average wages stay the same! I smell a very big RAT!!
Precious Metals is an enemy to the Cashless Society so therefore will be banned just like Jewish Gold was in 1940s NWO dont want anything tobeat their cashless system as it'll make it useless.
Great analogy with the tree and the tsunami. This is true, and I have been tempted with the rare coins, but that's what I said. Just get the metal, screw the collector's value. as far as the timeframe, I'd say we're lucky if we have 2 years.
I'd by in ounces, but I'd just make sure it's not a ridiculous price. If someone is trying to sell you at $25 round when the price is around $15, then don't buy. Look for someone who's selling it for $19, $20, or $21. But don't let a lack of good deals keep you from buying. Ultimately, you just need to get your hands on the metal.
They'll find it if there are receipts from seller or bought Gold online. If you dont hand it over they'll accuse you of pulling down the system and brand you a Tewwowist
Vision Victory, thank you so much for this valuable information. I can safely say that you are making a big difference in the world by what you're doing. Thanks again.
Although i have one question. Coming from a Canadian such as myself, i have to wonder, how will the future outlook of the US market affect Canada as a country. Or not even economically, if there ever is a war even. Do you think Canada will turn out anything like the US?
Mike Maloney said the governement wouldn't confiscate gold because they are trying to keep the system around as long as possible. If the goverment were to confiscate gold, it would make international news and would trigger a massive sell off of USD because traders owuld know something is obviously very wrong with the currency.
I have a Question, what about owning Real Estate, such as Farming Land, or Timber Land, or payoff rental income property, would this be answer to the coming dollar destruction. With a Silver and Gold investiment, could land be protection against long term decline in value of dollar.
All paper will collapse at some point. Gold has been valuable since the begining of time. (Genesis 2:11-12) It's best to purchase bullion coins because precious metal dealers are not required to report those purchases to the government. 24k is the purest .9999 but 22k is okay as long as you are getting a full oz of pure gold for your money. Good luck to you all in your investments but please put your trust in God first. Your investments are only secondary for your future security. God bless!
Silver and gold will go down before they'd climb higher! Also the $ is going to get stronger this year and next year. It's better to wait in my opinion. Good luck everybody!
The problem with that line of logic (not that it's a bad idea per se), is that the same thing happened last year, and there was shortage of both physical gold and physical silver, making it more difficult to obtain.
Somehow, when the price plummets, there is shortage. We don't win EITHER WAY.
If it were me I would try to buy on dips, but you've got to know what you're doing.
I can't see any gold confiscation occuring. If the government confiscates gold, the price of gold would sky rocket and the dollar would collapse overnight.
I don't see anything in your comments that says America hating raving idiot, but I would be curious to have maxine2win elaborate on that. Instead of just saying that, explain how she got that conclusion.
You can purchase a sound firearm through mail order. No FFL needed as long as it is pre 1900. Just make sure it is a sound gun and reliable. Look into "Lemon squeezers". A 38 Smith and Wesson (not "special")- bullets can still be purchased and you can have this gun shipped to your door with NO paperwork. They are considered relics. Completely legal. You must honor your state laws however.
thanks but they are junk...i will continue to collect les baer super varmint and premier, 40x, d&l precision rifles, clint fowler m1a, anacondas, freedom arms model 93 454, winchester pre 64- over 50 at t his point....i think you get the idea..
Some states are more restrictive than others, such as California, New York, and some specific cities like Chicago. My point was certain guns are able to be purchased this way. That is why you must honor each state law and yes some fed laws apply. It is possible. A felon was just arrested in new york for commiting a crime with a handgun that he purchased legally even though it was illegal for him to possess. All gun laws are impossible to list in a limited amount of characters..
That sounds right to me. Plenty of reloads can be had. I am not sure if any guns pre 1900 could fire modern ammo, due to the powder. I could be wrong. My original point is that with some searching you can purchase and use a gun this way. I am not responsible for your soul or your imprisonment. Plenty of these guns to be had.
great video so sad people ask why you do not report on good news- focus on whats coming people this guy is right a Nightmare is coming your way spead the word so people direct their anger at the federal reserve
How many times over the last 12months did I say Gold would be conviscated as it is beats the new Cashless Society? No one believd me!! This will be replaced with an Invisible Barcode -no one will still listen to me. dont say i didnt tell you
I believe God Himself has told me. You all might say im an idiot, just you sit back and watch it happen! Invisible Barcode oh righthand of forehead. When this happens you will know God gave me a word of knowledge
i think you're right, i mean, what's the point in having a whole lot of gold if in the end the currency will be food, i am not a religious person but i've heard that there's not gonna be much food in the last days. so i ask you, is that true?
Not to avoid the question, but it is a very broad subject that would be completely miscommunicated through the lackluster comment sections of YouTube.
In much the same way you cannot truly communicate the concept of color to a blind man, or expound on the succinct differences of timbre of voice to a deaf person...so is understanding endtimes and prophesy.
I am not in complete understanding of what will happen, so I do not want to give you my assumptions.
Somewhere in Revelation it states: A mans wages will not be enuff to buy a days food. If you've got non perishable food, bury it in different places as Govt will bring out a hoarding law: Not allowed to horad food.
chevyvictor- "When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"
why is silver and gold going down??? last week hours before it started going down i bought a bunch of maple leafs. holy hell. i stil haven't given my check..stupid.
On US unemployment benefits or Welfare -- in other countries in Europe for example there is a welfare system that is often indefinitely granted. I'm wondering could we be seeing a huge global shift or upgrade in how welfare is applied ? There is going to be less and less work of a hard production nature I'm guessing. I think welfare is due an international upgrade and it would be part of supporting a New economy based on Increasing Returns in certain tech sectors wrt the internet.
Here's something people need to understand. You don't win or lose in purchasing gold or silver. You're simply storing and preserving your current net wealth. If you're the kind of person that doesn't want to gamble with the value of your hard earned savings/retirement, then you had better be storing it in the form of gold and silver.
You could win more or loose more in some cases. A ham sandwich isnt worth jack at the all you can eat buffet but offer it to a group of starving guy's on a deserted island and you'll start a bidding war for everything they have. at the right place and time all thing can increase or decrease in value, gold and silver is the ham sandwich in a inflationary depression. and im going to have a whole lunch box full of em.
when the riots hit, im sure them to be so bad that many people will not be leaving home to goto work. Not least until the national guard and police can gain decent control. This in turn will impact our economy due to lost work hours, expect riots to last some time! especially if you live in los angeles or la county as I do. Where many claim government benefits, and markets have been hit the hardest. Expect to have supplies that will not last you the recommended 7 days, think bigger! always!
You shouldn't be worried about confiscation if they take it they will pay you for it and you can turn around and buy copper or platinum tell you find a suitable time to sell that and buy land food or a car. all things will keep value (except the dollar) its just having a mean of exchange that people will accept at that time and place. cool thing about gold and silver is that it is the easiest means of exchange after cash and everyone will want it and prices will skyrocket!
@laplante31...I disagree. If it gets to the point of confiscation there will be no fair exchange. It would most likely be a condition in which all gold and silver will no longer have any legal value in the regular market. The only place it will be tradable will be as a barter item. Yes, I believe it will become that horrific. I mean look at it this way...if hyperinflation hits would you want to trade in your gold/silver for less than its really worth? Thats what will be offered, if even that.
I agree with you too that was just my dumb down version. lol. but what your talking about if they do confiscate gold which i think they wont, is a gold black market of sorts were your told to turn it in and everything becomes hush hush almost like in Russia or the mob. unless you could get out of the country and then gold would be less valuable out side the us as well. there not called depressions for nothin, sometimes you get screw both ways. better safe than sorry though.
VV, what do you think of gold/silver/metals short term? I heard you call the market correctly maybe a month ago saying gold/silver was ready for a short term downturn. That should be ending though with the next upturn starting soon right?
Anyone that still is working on a payroll is an idiot. Just get yourself fired like everyone else so you can collect unemployment. Congress is going to soon extend unemployment so people in states like California and others where its above 8.5 percent are going to have nearly 2 YEARS of unemployment. And we all know that they will keep extending it beyond that. I mean are they freaking crazy?? Who the hell would bother working when you can sit on your ass and get all that free money.
I plan to keep my full-time job as long as I can. I have a great salary and they pay 100% of my healthcare and dental insurance. If I followed your advise and got myself fired, I would lose out big time. Unemployment wouldn't leave enough for me to invest in PMs and more survival supplies.
"The Wizard of Oz" . . . was written at a time when American society was consumed by the debate over the "financial question," that is, the creation and circulation of money. . . . The characters of "The Wizard of Oz" represented those deeply involved in the debate: the Scarecrow as the farmers, the Tin Woodman as the industrial workers, the Lion as silver advocate William Jennings Bryan and Dorothy as the archetypal American girl.
i like mercury dimes and 10 oz bars. Mercury dimes are for barter in small denominations and 10oz bars are for investing into the next currency from the dollar
If they wanna confiscate your metals, melt them into bullets, then shoot them. lol
But seriously, if it gets to the point where the gov is confiscating guns/gold or whatever and try to put you in prison for nothing, you better draw a line in the sand.
do not keep gold silver or cash in a bank lockbox. the government can declare an emergency and crack open those boxes and take whatever they want. if you have something like an old pistol or a knife in there take that out as well because they can drag you in and accuse you of hiding weapons for "terrorists" or whatever and lock you up for a while. get a gun cabinet or a good fireproof box with 2 keys and a carrying handle. no paper trail, sturdy and all yours.
The great injustice is that the gangsters who engineered this economic collapse are preparing their bugout mansions in Costa Rica, Uruguay, and New Zealand as we speak. When the SHTF and people are rioting in the streets, the Wall Street scumbags will be living it up behind the 1 ft thick walls of their fortified compounds surrounded by a 24x7 Blackwater security team. With a Cohiba in hand, they will relax in luxury--while we OTOH fight over the last box of Triscuits left on the store shelf.
Larouche says collapse will happen this october when the states have to adjust to taxes being down 50 percent. States can't run unbalanced budgets so they just get to cut 50 percent usually.
The sale of California bonds in the NY Metro area is enough evidence of D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-I-O-N. Something is going to give. It is entirely possible that many millions in America will regret not having gold in their scopes. Visionvictory is working off official data and it all shows harrowing consequences of uncontrollable ambitions. THESE NEXT 3 YEARS WILL BE LIVING HELL ON EARTH, IT'S ALL COMING TO A HEAD. WE ARE FORCING A CRISIS BY 2012 Nostradamus could never imagine or predict.
Also, lets be realistic. Even if they do try to seize gold...are you going to be stupid enough to comply? How many of us USED pot when we were kids? That was illegal and we did it anyway..we do 80 in a 70mph zone..we do alot of things the govt. says we shouldn't. I will not allow them to rape me of what little I have. I will RESIST. So should you. What are they going to do if millions of Americans simply tell them no?If you fear...then follow my little motto: BUY IT..KEEP QUIET!
In my hometown,I am opening a coin shop that will deal mostly with hard asset coinage. No collectable coins like pennies or buffalo nickles. I am going to try to give local folks access to gold and silver without them having to pay extravagant fees from those TV gold dealers that burn people right from the get go. I often find myself discussing the confiscation issue. People...if you buy gold and silver. DON"T LEAVE A PAPER TRAIL!!! Go to a local shop, lay down cash and then walk and keep quiet!
When folks buy coins they should do a bit of investigating on the net. If a person thinks they are getting a deal on lets say Mexican Silver, they may not be. There is a silver dollar sized .720 Ley Mexican coin that is only .64 of an oz of silver. BUT,it looks like an ounce. I deal a LOT in coins and I believe that for survival needs for those who cannot invest much money, that 90% U.S. silver coinage is their best bet. They can be bought at just about any coin shop or on Ebay. 15 dimes = 1 .oz
Thanks again! I agree with your outlook. I do have a little uncertainty about the possibility of a collapse including federal debt default under a protracted deflationary cycle instead of hyperinflation. Either way, I believe in bllion.
But the masses don't care right now. Look at all that free money they are getting in umeployment, welfare, loan modifications, FHA programs, stimulus package, tax breaks, etc.
I tend to think it is still a little ways off. The NWO wants a global currency but I think they have something cashless in mind ( you know, like a mark on your forehead or right hand!). Not just a move to another fiat, paper currency. Nevertheless, I am prepared. Food, water, guns, ammo and my Bible. And a little gold and silver, but not much.
It is stupid and insane. At the same time you have countries around the world announcing it. The question remains what will it be and who will control it. The $ is A dead duck, that is the view of other nations who refuse to accept our fiat currency.
its a paper trap into a gold trap people no matter what you invest in you are officially f***ed in the next up coming years or whenever this train gets rolling, i wouldn't put my faith into gold and silver savings when the time comes to use that kind of currency again seriously when gold becomes the standard for currency again, people you got some seriously shit heading your way but thank god it is happening not a moment to late
Thanks for deciding to do some "Beginner's Tutorials". From personal experience, I know that fear of the unknown is keeping a lot of people from jumping into buying PMs.
Why don't you discuss the H1N1 vaccine? That is the tsunami that is coming right at us, not the dollar collapse. The vaccine will have squalene in it. When squalene is injected into you, your body will make antibodies against it. When this happens, the antibodies will begin to search and destroy all squalene within the body. This is a concern because squalene exist naturally in the body. When the antibodies are programmed to destroy squalene, it will not stop until you are dead.
Go to the US Dept. of Human Health and Services web site and search for the article entitled HHS Purchases Additional H1N1 Vaccine Ingredients under the NEWS tab. There is a table of expenditures for vaccine ingredients. In it, you will find that $414 million was spent on bulk oil and water adjuvants. Squalene is an oil adjuvant. Squalene was used in anthrax vaccines for US soldiers and is what caused a variety of autoimmune disorders otherwise known as Gulf War Syndrome.
Whereas, it is provided in Section 5(b) of the Act of October 6, 1917, as amended,
that the President may investigate, regulate, or prohibit any transaction in foreign exchange and the export, hoarding, melting, or earmarkings of gold or
silver coin or bullion or currency
They can kick down your door and take away everything you own whenever they want.
That's true, if an economic collapse is the scenario that plays out.. The future, though, often doesn't unfold in the way we expect, despite all of the evidence and analysis available to us - so it's a good idea to hedge our bets for alternative possibilities as best we may. Should a collapse happen, collectibles may lose their premium, but still will hold at least their bullion-based value; if not, the collectible premium can make them a good investment anyway.
Funny you mention baseball cards. I used to be an avid collector. Then the market crashed in 1995 and has never recovered (for plain, ungraded cards - I'm not into the whole grading scene).
Starting in the late 80's they over-produced lots of cards, to the point where they have become literally WORTHLESS. The interesting thing is it took the market several years to figure that out, another example of how markets always get it right, eventually.
good point vision........all these sheep who keep saying....oh why dont you talk about good things......because there really isnt any good news to mention when you have a massive tsunami heading our way !!! STUPID SHEEP !!!
Very good video. I disagree slightly with the advice to avoid collectible coins minted in precious metals; they have some advantages, if you can afford them. But bullion is the first priority if protection from economic disaster is your concern.
The problem with this, is that in an economic collapse no one is going to care about the collectible value of the coin. All they will care about is the base price of the commodity.
Mormons claim to be followers of Christ, but simply put, they don't follow the same Christ that I do. I bear them no ill will, but I would be unfaithful to Christ were I not to warn them that they are worshiping a false god.
If they are saved and have the holy spirit w/in them then you are like them. Whether you think you're on a higher plane or not. Not saying you're saying that but be careful. We're saved by grace, not acts.
They could confiscate metal bars and raw bullion but how can they confiscate gold and siver coins when it is actual currency. Has a confiscation of currency ever ocurred? Confiscating currency would be be odd. Government has no way of knowing you have it unless you tell them.
World Bank says don't take dollar's place for granted
World Bank President Robert Zoellick said the United States should not take the dollar's status as the world's key reserve currency for granted because other options are emerging.
So what is the US doing to protect its currency besides engaging in the moral hazard of rewarding crony bankers with FREE MONEY. I'll bet they are buying up cheap assets while the dollar still has value.
Coming soon to a theater near you: THE DAY THE DOLLAR DIED
@thompk12 I'm with you. I feel "they" control the market. Therefore after "they" have sold so much of this precious metal. (bleed the shirt off your back) it will collapse too.

He101A 2 years ago

Especially considering if they did that this would hurt the stock price, wouldn't it? You know they barely have any gold/silver in their vaults..

______Gold - Lose & Win______
Buy gold and you'll lose your investment if you need to sell it -- but you won't lose it all. When gold was around $1,000 (selling price), I went to a gold BUYER at a mall and they offered about $300 (So if I needed to cash my gold in, I would lose about 66% of my investment). In a hyperinflation scenario, gold MIGHT triple, in which case you wouldn't lose much to the gold vultures.
Good news is, you won't lose everything.

Daniel-
I always like your vids and enjoy the information.
Which holds more ultimate value?
scutter4christ 2 years ago
Daniel has a religious channel, this is devoted to economics mainly. As for ezekiel 7:19 if this isn't the end of the age you will need gold. Better safe then sorry. Even Joseph stored up food and such for hard times. If you aren't preparing I can't help you.
bdc03 2 years ago
Which channel is that? I knew he had the redpill channel at one point but I haven't seen a religious based video from daniel in a long time.
And most people can't afford gold. Especially in the economy we are in now. So is the majority of america doomed before we even get started?
I think daniel will understand the original meaning of my question. Atleast, as a christian, I hope he does. :o)

one hint for everyone buying silver and gold-buy at coin shows in order to avoid sales tax or purchase $1000 or more at one time (at least in Texas). Secondly, buy %90/ 40 silver coins in bulk; third, pay cash so you don't leave a paper trail if you are paranoid about confiscation; 4th--tell few and trusted individuals that you own metals.
I pull as much cash out of my bank account every paycheck and convert it to silver, Yen and Renminbi, just in case I have to flee the country short notice.
shabutie1337 2 years ago
The metals have been a currency and have had value since the beginning of human history. Over 3,800 paper currencies have become worthless. If i had to pick a safe haven for a post U.S. collapse world, I'm sticking with gold.
People who own gold haven't lost a dime, so screw the rally, how about NOT being down in the last 2 years. Does NOT being down work for you? Or are you still sad youre missing out on watching the Dow go from 14,000 to 10,000?

Great analogy with the tree and the tsunami. This is true, and I have been tempted with the rare coins, but that's what I said. Just get the metal, screw the collector's value. as far as the timeframe, I'd say we're lucky if we have 2 years.
wsarris424 2 years ago
I'd by in ounces, but I'd just make sure it's not a ridiculous price. If someone is trying to sell you at $25 round when the price is around $15, then don't buy. Look for someone who's selling it for $19, $20, or $21. But don't let a lack of good deals keep you from buying. Ultimately, you just need to get your hands on the metal.

God bless!

The problem with that line of logic (not that it's a bad idea per se), is that the same thing happened last year, and there was shortage of both physical gold and physical silver, making it more difficult to obtain.
Somehow, when the price plummets, there is shortage. We don't win EITHER WAY.

GreenacresEmigrant 2 years ago
Some states are more restrictive than others, such as California, New York, and some specific cities like Chicago. My point was certain guns are able to be purchased this way. That is why you must honor each state law and yes some fed laws apply. It is possible. A felon was just arrested in new york for commiting a crime with a handgun that he purchased legally even though it was illegal for him to possess. All gun laws are impossible to list in a limited amount of characters..

That sounds right to me. Plenty of reloads can be had. I am not sure if any guns pre 1900 could fire modern ammo, due to the powder. I could be wrong.

Expect to have supplies that will not last you the recommended 7 days, think bigger! always!
XxgoetfacexX 2 years ago
You shouldn't be worried about confiscation if they take it they will pay you for it and you can turn around and buy copper or platinum tell you find a suitable time to sell that and buy land food or a car. all things will keep value (except the dollar) its just having a mean of exchange that people will accept at that time and place. cool thing about gold and silver is that it is the easiest means of exchange after cash and everyone will want it and prices will skyrocket!
laplante31 2 years ago
@laplante31...I disagree. If it gets to the point of confiscation there will be no fair exchange. It would most likely be a condition in which all gold and silver will no longer have any legal value in the regular market. The only place it will be tradable will be as a barter item. Yes, I believe it will become that horrific. I mean look at it this way...if hyperinflation hits would you want to trade in your gold/silver for less than its really worth? Thats what will be offered, if even that.

Either way, I believe in bllion.

we are no where close to hyper inflation folks. this is all worse case scenario of worse case scenarios.

But, DON'T knock on our doors if you decided to stay unprepaired with all this evidence, if the worse comes.

Your right, we will see a complete currency collapse, much worse than hyper-inflation.

And a little gold and silver, but not much.
deathcube 2 years ago
a global currency will not happen !! it is even stupid to think that way. Think how much Russia, India, China, Brazil will object to this. Insane !
hktraveller 2 years ago
they are the ones promoting it.

It is stupid and insane. At the same time you have countries around the world announcing it. The question remains what will it be and who will control it. The $ is A dead duck, that is the view of other nations who refuse to accept our fiat currency.

After reading my post, it sounds a little confrontational for which I apologize as I certainly do appreciate your efforts to inform.

Its speculation at this point. Not sure what to believe.

I'v heard that silver is non-confiscatable is this true?
bbthgisni 2 years ago
Nope.

Collect baseball cards, invest and save in metal. :)
thx for the comments
visionvictory 2 years ago
Funny you mention baseball cards. I used to be an avid collector. Then the market crashed in 1995 and has never recovered (for plain, ungraded cards - I'm not into the whole grading scene).
Starting in the late 80's they over-produced lots of cards, to the point where they have become literally WORTHLESS. The interesting thing is it took the market several years to figure that out, another example of how markets always get it right, eventually.

Very good video. I disagree slightly with the advice to avoid collectible coins minted in precious metals; they have some advantages, if you can afford them. But bullion is the first priority if protection from economic disaster is your concern.
Tigerpaws9097826 2 years ago
The problem with this, is that in an economic collapse no one is going to care about the collectible value of the coin. All they will care about is the base price of the commodity.

I am a follower of Christ, but not like most Christians you have ever met.
visionvictory 2 years ago

Research gold confiscation of 1933.
donharlan1 2 years ago
You can work this out through a simple thought experiment. We know FDR confiscated gold in the 30s when times were hard and he needed to print money.
A) Do you think we are coming out of the recession and happy days are here, or, are more hard times coming in the future?
B) Do you think Obama has more, or less integrity than FDR?
Pretty clear now isn't it?

World Bank says don't take dollar's place for granted
World Bank President Robert Zoellick said the United States should not take the dollar's status as the world's key reserve currency for granted because other options are emerging.
So what is the US doing to protect its currency besides engaging in the moral hazard of rewarding crony bankers with FREE MONEY. I'll bet they are buying up cheap assets while the dollar still has value.
