@Camswalkthroughs it was out on march 15th 2005. re4 was out on the ps2 in january the same year. this game may have or may have not copied it but the over the shoulder thing does look the same. still a good game though.

The thing that was missing was a map, but that was ok since Tom pretty much tells you which way is wrong or right path. Also enemies keep spawning so you're not just aimlessly wandering around without something to shoot.

how do you know where to go an what do in this game?

it's a lot of trial and error. i die and have to restart at check points , so when i finally make it to the next checkpoint/save point i've already gone through most of it a few times.

Several things in the game help you with that. 1) Some of the mission objectives give you hints on where to go. 2) The game tells you where you are every time you enter an area such as the lower deck or the kitchen. 3) The best hint of all is the save checkpoints. Whenever you reach one of those, you are on the right track.
