  • People wanna know everything in detail so bad that the guy has to give a press conference and describe his feelings in detail..... real mockery of democracy.

  • Nice

  • At least he didn't lie about it like Clinton did...gotta give him credit for that! O_o

  • What are you talking about? He lied about it for a long time until this press conference!

  • oh he's just another human that got tired of his woman

  • When he resigns he'll have PLENTY OF TIME to drive around the LOL coastline in B.A.!! He can spend a lifetime ogling Maria's tan lines and magnificent parts!

  • if he would speak like they edited this, he wouldn't sound so fucking boring all the time

  • You are a fucking idiot.

  • Check to see if he's a spy!!!

  • "Don't Cry for Me Argentina?"

Oh, they think they're sooooo funny!

And BTW, Ricky Ricardo was from Cuba, if I remember correctly.

  • They know that you fool!! What's your point? They are saying he has some explaining to do, the way Ricky would tell Lucy " you got some 'splaining to do". Please get a life!!!

  • Why all the latino jokes from the media?

  • The whole thing was just painful to watch. You're a politician and a Republican. Can't you keep it in your pants for a couple years?

  • not with those gays running about! I told you they would ruin everything!

  • marriage is a failing, faulty institution. these people talking about the "sanctity of marriage" need to look in the mirror and realize that everyone has carnal desires that are separate from love. the man's just acting on those, but he has to shuck & jive because of all this intrigue & holier-than-thou bullshit. now, using the taxpayers' money to fund the trip, that's another matter altogether.

  • So lame that this dominated the news today. It is so meaningless. Oh well.

  • "yo I'm completely right in my..." mmmm the gov. just said Yo. come on!

  • The party of family values is at it again and they now branched out to Latin America after sweeping through the nation's interns and public bathrooms. To all GOPers, please drop the facade and come out of the closet. To the rest of you folk, think twice before you bend in front of a republican.

  • I felt like his apology was more sincere than other senators before him. I think this one really does mean he is sorry. Of course there is the big chance I am wrong.

  • All of these apologies are insincere becauswe they are only apologizing because they were caught. This man left his wife and children over fathers day to have sex with another woman, he was perfectly happy away from his family and his job and would have kept this going as long as he copuld. He like so many others is sorry only because he got caught.

  • Yea look at Gwya he hasn't even said "I'm sorry" for destroying your country yet.

  • ha!

    Ending was priceless.

    5 stars

  • Buenos Aires and get some fine Latina booty...and bill the state?" -- But its Fatthers Day..."Mark, I said phat ass Latina booty!" - - Damn your right, just let me grab my over many nights bag!

  • Is the government going to spend 30 million US to see if he got any on her dress ?

You wonder why the states is imploding then you see the morons running the joint into the ground. Implosion explained no one with any brain cells is running the joint.

0 morals, 0 common sense. I liked the US it WAS a cool country.

  • @ boots920

When was that, btw, boots? Before they killed JFK and took over?

  • All roads lead to Rome all evil leads to the Federal Reserve when it comes to the United States.

Look at the video "Return to Tarawa with Leon Cooper".

    - shows the agenda was in play even back in WW2

    - WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, now Afghanistan, Iraq

All follow the false flag, flag wavin money manipulation pattern. The Fed is designed to fail, Example main purpose of Vietnam war was to end gold foreign exchange of US dollar. Each event is a step on an agenda.

  • @ boots920

Yeah, I was just asking to see when you though the US was a cool country.

I gotta be standing on my head -- for the World to make any sense, these days.

So guess what? I'm gonna dress up as the Statue of Liberty on Sunday in our 60th Annual Swedish Days Parade, and carry Ron Paul's book, "Revolution - A Manifesto" instead of the traditional Law volume.

---and, whenever The Beatles' "Revolution" is played, I had out the copy to someone. (Beats drinking, at least this Sunday)

  • Cool Country (Republic) 1776 $20 Double Eagle

    - rule of law gold, silver is money (Capital)

1913 - Cool country is cool no more because a central bank is established, (Communism) Gold Still $20

1971 - Central Bank ends final gold backing to US dollar

Nixon - a crook and traitor to his country sets in motion fiat money as world reserve. Gold $35

2009 - Cool country NOW morphs into Zimbabwe

Gold $1000, US dollar (Fiat) is about to become worthless.

    I think I've destroyed my liver .....

  • Ok, see you in another country then K BYE!

  • That was my first reaction as well but you have to realize that since the US dollar is world reserve and is pure fiat, the rest of the world "currencies" are fiat as well.

You can run but you can't hide, all world leaders without exception are in on the ponzi scheme. Get out of the cities, start growing your own food, start learning the violin so you can play as civilization worldwide implodes.

  • What was with the Ricky Ricardo(Dezi Arnaz) refference"u got some splainin to do"???...I could see if he was Argentinian but hes cuban, dummies!ha

  • @ ayieshastewart

It was on The Lucy Show -- which is still shown every day somewhere around the world. (Even though it is b/w and old-as-rope)

You see: Lucy does something very stupid, Ricky comes home, finds the "mess" and says.....

"Lucy, you've got some 'splaining to do!!!"

It's just a Classic line, said trillions of times.

  • Ive seen I love lucy before,it pretty easy to follow...the reference, which sounded stupid, did not work for me......I guess when a black person is invloved we should say "whatchu talkin bout willis..."...in a hokey vocie 2! ha.its contrived, just corny 2 me thats all..

  • bahaha @ that last 2 seconds

  • Typical Repub. Is anyone surprised by this? The only thing that surprised me is that it didn't involve some 14 year old boy.

  • This is probably one of the few times I'll give a Republican credit, I mean at least the affair was with an adult, female at that.

  • dont be so sure, this is in south america after all, where there is a 50% chance of a girl really being a dude.

  • ....the Republicans were complaining about Obama taking his daughters out for ice cream on Father's Day, while protest in Iran heated up.....and what did one of their own, with 4 children, do on Father's Day, while Iran's protest heated up???......Such Hypocrisy.....

  • hahahahahahahahahahaahhhaahahahhahahaha so true

  • Norah O'Donnell needs to tame that laughter.

  • I love how this shows how clueless and unoriginal these overpaid "news" anchors are.. bunch of overpaid dopes, especially on faux noise

  • @ KataVideo

I think they are paid to hypnotize us into believing fairy tales -- written by the W.H.

  • Watch. He's going to write a book now. Give it 6 months. No joke.

  • a new book? mark sanford's "How to Pick Up Chicks in Buenos Aires"?

  • More like, 'Odyssey of the Penis'., i.e. 'banging Gina in Argentina.'

  • As Bug Bunny says "what a maroon"

  • Why the fuck do we need a press conference every time some idiot senator fucks around? I don't give a shit.

  • I agree 100%

  • GOP = Party of Hypocrites!!!

  • "The bottom line, though, is I am sure there will be a lot of legalistic explanations pointing out that the president lied under oath. His situation was not under oath. The bottom line, though, is he still lied. He lied under a different oath, and that is the oath to his wife. So its got to be taken very, very seriously. (Sanford on Livingston, CNN, 12/18/98)

  • "The issue of lying is probably the biggest harm, if you will, to the system of Democratic government, representatives government, because it undermines trust. And if you undermine trust in our system, you undermine everything. (Sanford on Clinton, CNN, 2/16/99)

  • I think it would be much better for the country and for him personally to resign. I come from the business side. If you had a chairman or president in the business world facing these allegations, hed be gone. (Sanford on Clinton, The Post and Courier, 9/12/98)

  • Republicans denying the gay community marriage while cheating on their wives. It's the pinnacle of hypocrisy.

  • How typically Republican. What a fucking hypocrite! He voted to impeach Bill Clinton, citing the need for "moral legitimacy". At least Bill Clinton just got his knob slobbed. "Family values" hypocritical Republicans turn my stomach. Jesus H Christ, could they spare us the crying contrite bullshit, and just get out of our lives?

  • Damn right....he did do something exotic

  • Never ending saga of GOP hypocrisy!

    Classic Republican's.....staying classy as usual

  • Gov. Sanford gave himself a o^o stimulus!

  • Take Note America - this is your country. These are your countrymen - your elected officials, your neighbors, YOU. Do not be ashamed - it matters not. Accept it and move on. Keep your dignity and your noble virtues but make sure to take your shoes off when you come indoors.

  • He used our tax dollar to have sex in Argentina!...

  • This guy is a liar.

  • Now we know why Sanford was resisting Obama's "stimulus package."

  • Yeah, he was busy stimulating his own package.

  • you made my day with that one.

  • he's a jerk like the rest of them . just proves you can't trust ANY government politician.

  • i'd just steer clear of the ones trying to prescribe morals.

  • barny franks doesn't seem to prescribe morals , but would you say he's safe for teen boys to be around? Maybe it's all that are immoral not just the moral hypocrites, that we should steer clear of. tj

  • Help me out here, tj5+ - exactly what is it about B. Franks that makes him unsafe for teen boys to be around? and precisely what about him is immoral? Please be specific.

Are you perhaps suggesting that because he's openly gay, then he's immoral and a pedophile?

I'm no fan of any politician, but when I'm evaluating the validity of a criticism of any politician, I give credibility to those who provide specificity.

  • that is an easy question to answer. Specificly sexual sin is sexual sin, be it hetero or homo. The concept of sin is simply based upon one thing , a lie. Anything that is based upon a lie is sin. The focus upon sexuality is too narrow to exact justice. The concept of truth vs lie should be the basis for choosing leaders. Immorality, be it, sloth, lust, anger, greed , pride, fear and gluttony should be the standard to avoid in our government leaders and ourselves.(but all have sinned & fallen).tj

  • Sorry, tj5+ - that's not specificity as it relates to B. Franks. You are implying "sexual sin" and "a lie" - but you provide no specific verifiable example of either, so your statement is still just empty innuendo.

An example of specificity would be something like "B. Franks lied when he said abc=xyz" - or "B. Franks committed sexual sin when he attempted to fornicate with abc&xyz" - see what I mean?

  • idiot bullshit political theatre

  • you know what? Who cares.

  • Ummm.... did Iran just stop happening?

  • If he went on the trip using tax payer's money, then ok...I get it. It sucks what he did. If this is all just because he was unfaithful...then BIG DEAL! Let him and his family handle it. Why does it have to be such a big story? Just for ratings I bet.

  • Because he's very outspoken against gay marriage. I think he could learn a thing or two about it from a happily married gay couple.

It's the hypocrisy that makes it a BIG DEAL

  • Ahhh...you see, this is what happens when I don't do my homework on the subject. Thank you. :-) I get it now.

  • Yes, the republicans have a hypocrisy problem lately. Peace, friend.

  • "Don't go to Argentina and cry"

    BABOOM!

  • Didn't the The Onion News Network on youtube made a similar parody about a senator saying apologizing before he started to cheat a few months a go?.. This kinda reminds me of it

  • Sanford should resign, since they want every Liberal to do so, when they cheat.

  • What a dummy.

  • I'm so glad that the people of I ran are revolting and fighting for their lives, and all CNN can talk about today is a philandering Governor.

Am sorry, poeple of Iran, but you are not important enough to the producers of CNN...

  • Just CNN? I saw clips of all major stations in there.

    CNN, Fox, MSNBC..

  • They covered the Iran Revolt numerous times throughout the day. If you're mad, you should be mad at the editors of this video, not CNN lol.

  • It could have been all avoided if he just jacked off.

  • lol true, but i do think Sanford is truly sorry for what he did based on what i saw all day. I never expected the governor of my state to do this, nonetheless.
