@milek021 This is a joint effort, you can get more details by googling the official sites but as far as I remember Pakistan has a major contribution in the design, avionics, etc and it is being manufactured in Pakistan now.

I live near Peshawar airport where jf17 is deployed. Last week i saw this flying beauty several times preparing for this airshow. Its aerobatics and AoA impressed me alot. But here i am dissapointed by the porformance of this jet. the pilot didnt seems to be make full out of this machine i dont know why. It performed much better at Zhuhai airshow.

@xxtremiist I have seen the plane very up close; you are so right about them not performing in these air shows. You see, these are called the 'soft demonstrations', displayed for public. The Pakistan JF-17 fly very differently when to its full steam. Also, the export JF-17 is starkly different from the Pakistan use planes. The plane cockpit is more elaborate than its F16 counter part.
