why does he shift to warm it up does it help or does it warm up the gearbox too?

Probably just checking the computer controlled non-synchronised manual shifting double clutch of the gears, a gearbox generally doesn't need to be warmed up. The clutch however does.

Shifting doesn't make the engine warm up any faster. Although maybe recirculating the sump system may be improved when driving 'in gear' as opposed to being in neutral. (drive shaft driven? Not sure about this with regard to high performance race cars...)

i have only heard of the P4/5 but never of a competizione version. is it a "one of" too?

@MaistroDavid Yes, this is a one-off, same owner of the other P4/5 which was based on the Ferrari Enzo. This one is based on the 430 Scuderia and with the F430 GT2, it has been made to compete at the 2011 24h Nurburgring race, then it will be converted for a road legal use

If the ACO wanted more attention globally they would attract Ferrari back to their race it's been something like 45 years since a full factory Ferrari was at Le Mans, bring back Ferrari or some Italian factor to Le Mans!

@lourke123 No It must have indicators and certain saftey equipment (not sure about saftey) but it must be clearly visable at night!
