I got normal N95 and it boot faster that your N95-8gb, i do not have boring menu when i slide it up and i can use multi tasking like 8gig ver. I think you need to upgrade your firmware.

Only thing i hate on my nokia is when (no matter what kind of movie, clip etc.) video file reaching about 3/4 of total play time - then it starts to stopping for a while and continue again (like a buffer). Only videos from main camera dont do this. I've tried many players, they sux even more, damn.

I don't know what you had running on your N95 but that was slow to start.

In the time it took to boot up your example I had started my N95 entered the PIN and lock code put it down picked it up again and had a laugh at your one.

Instead of buying a new N95 8Gb I just bought an 8Gb micro SD.

The 8Gb features are cool but not worth selling your classic N95 to buy the 8Gb.

I have read that the videos, pictures, games etc that are saved directly to actual phones rather than memory cards can sometimes get wiped through no fault of the user and would have to be redownloaded and saved again for the user to watch them more times. I got N95-3 also known as NAM version. It's as fast as N95-8GB with thesame processor speed, battery as well as the Camera design...

And there are only slight difference between N95-3 to N95-8GB its screen size, and the auto rotation lacking in NAM version.

I don't know about his model of N95 classic but mine can handle multitasking, have Nseries logo printed on the back and came with the same N-gage application. New firmware remove a media menu when you slide to media keys. And my definitively boot faster!!!

N95 with the new firmware it's great. N95 8GB it a 5 out of 5 but only 8GB. N95 classic with new firmware it has 16 GB for the micro sd and the same performance on RAM.

No way, dude! N95 stinks! When I try to listen music and navigate to the Ebay site for example, the applications shut down, because of low memory, only 55 available out of 64... This thing does not happen to N95 8GB, which has 128 mb RAM! Practically, you cannot consume the whole RAM amount of N95 8GB! It is very good! You can check the amount of thse phones' RAM installing and running an applicxation like Handy Taskman.
