Trucks of today just do not make me think 'truck' when I see one. This Dodge for example is a beautiful machine and I own one very similar to it. That said -when I stand back and look at it, I hate to use it for the duties that a truck calls for -it just looks too fragile. This is my opinion for Chevy and Ford, including the HD models. I'm not saying that aren't as tough, but they just do not 'look' as if they are when compared to the trucks of yesterday. I am happy with the refinements however.

Anyhow, the new ones blow the old ones outta the water as far as performance. Nowadays, a truck is a multi-purpose vehicle....family sedan....hauler....SUV etc....Creature comforts are a necessity and doesn't take away from the fact that this is a truck! A very nice truck! Install some Flowmaster mufflers and the sound gets alot tougher! Very impressive newer Dodge! And black is beautiful too! lol

Very nice! I was skeptical at first on the new look front fascia.....thought they made it look like a Mustang GT! lol. I liked the '03 to '05 look more. I drive an old '97 Ram 1500 Club Cab....old school 5.9L 360 V8....245hp gas HOG!! Bought it in 2001 with 60k miles on it. It still has only 128k after 10 years. Starts everyday! Never a problem! But, I was very disappointed after noticing later after I bought it that it was assembled in Mexico! Where was this assembled? lol.

I like the Dodge Ram , but they are some major copy cats, they copied that remote/key feature from mercedes, and there 4WD system sucks, but i do like the HEMI. I'm a ford guy, i have a f-250 king ranch 4x4, but had a 2009 f-150 king ranch 4x4, which was the dodge's competitor, i work on the f-series production line.

meh, there's nothing REALLY special about it. the Hemi is being outdated by Ford's new 5.0 for the F150 and GM's 6.2 both outrun and make better gas mileage than the Hemi.

@stopscrewingaround11 FYI, we ( ford ) don't even have the 5.0 engine anymore, and we don't have it now, the closest thing is the 5.4 trition that can't touch dodge's HEMI 5.7, but you are right, GM's 6.2 can outrun the HEMI, but it doesn't nowhere near make better gas milege than the HEMI< let me note, i work for Ford Mo Co on the f-series production line, and fully know about the subjects I'm talking about. By the way, the HEMI has been tweaked here and there since it's reapperance in 2004.
