  • @infectionsman most are ceramic..there was one electrolytic...

schematics abound on the internet...go to generalguitargadgets (dot) com and do a search on dod 250....

  • Brad, which DOD 250 schematic did you use for this build? - Steve

  • cool ..i ve been making my own pedals for a while now.....great stuff..........

  • Hi dou you ear like static noise in the clipping signal?

  • Wow dude that was awesome natural minor scale. I like this pedal it has more of an overdrive pedal tone with a lot of low mids. I own an mxr distortion plus clone which has an identical circuit but the dod 250 is definetely cool. It sounds like you are using a 4558 dual opamp or is it a 741 ic

  • hi yes this useing the 741...i was basically trying to build malmsteens favourite..yeah mxr great..they all are to me the overdrives...im not so picky these days.

  • what diodes are you using?

  • as in the schematics...IN4148s i seem to remember...i just had a look at the maplins website where i got them but cant see them...still u can get from many a place...hope that helps

  • very nice, man! sounds pretty chunky for being a two knob pedal!

  • Sounds Awesome! I just made one from BYOC myself w/ a couple clipping mods.

  • ole tus huevos very good !!!

  • Yeah thats what i thought...yeah d.Iing it is a real ood way i reckon of really hearing what a pedal sounds like..All overdrive pedals e.g. tube screamer i think sound quite marshall valve like
