I haven't seen the film yet, I hope it comes out in DVD. for Alyssafirth who wanted ruth wilson to win for Jane Eyre, I'm glad she didn't win, that movie has been made already. As much as I love period piece, it's tired and monotonous. Audience wants more contemporary piece that deals with today's issue like Life Support rather than a woman who married rich.

This is a terrible film. I went to the UK premier at the BFI in London last thursday. Its message is great and it could have been a good story, but it focuses on Latifah's character who in the end is exactly the same as she was in the start. Scenes dont go anywhere and dont build up to anything, so after an hour you still didnt know what the story was or what was going to happen. This film cost $6 mil to make, and its obvious half of that went to latifah as lead actor and executive producer.

i love this movie, i have seen like 8 times and everytimne i cry at the end... i also love the song jamie foxx sings when the credits come on"love brings change".that song just makes the tears come down faster,this movie should get many awards, these are real people storys getting told, they should be thanked for givin other people hope, my aunt said this movie made her feel like she can make it to.....thats why i love this movie, because its real, really people daeling with real things.

I liked this movie also, it has a lot of positive messages aside from the obvious message about HIV, it also teaches about reaching out and helping someone other than yourself, even if that person is not family or a close friend.

Just seen it tonight Sunday March 18. It was an excellent movie. Latifah and all the other actors was magnificent. The movie was real as it can get. Oh my goodness, we have to be more responsible for our lives and lives of other. We can't continue to be reckless about how we live. You can't ignore HIV. Start by getting tested. Don't put your life in that guy or that girl's hand. You are worth more than that.
