I've always hated the dire dire docks music. It seems I hate anything soothing. The only thing I miss about "that time" is that feeling I always had when playing these old games. It was also my very first game too. I still have it , and my N64 still works too.

My biggest problem with the DS version is what they did to Tick Tock Clock! They made it WAY to easy - it's the second last level for god's sake! It shouldn't be that easy, and Luigi breaks it even more!

@docopoper To be honest, the only thing that made it really hard in the original was the not-so-good camera on that level. I know they made it easier beyond that... they probably tried to make up for the lack of analog controls, and overdid it.

5 ways they made it easier:

1) The pit at the bottom has been mostly filled in so that you don't die.

2) You can get every star with time stopped. (I know you technically can in the original too - but it's impractical)

3) On the first spinning platforms you reach - they removed the wall that stops you skipping it.

4) Luigi can simply back flip over everything.

5) They removed all of the spinning triangles.

That's really overcompensating for controls... It's just way too easy!

The DS version's content was actually great, the only downside was the controls. This game sort of requires an analog stick.
