  • So beautiful to watch. This is the future of horse training!

  • Gah. If only the guys at my school could dance as well as that horse.

You've done a great job training her, and she's very pretty;)

  • That is to cute!! XD

  • There's NO better dance partner than YOUR HORSE!!! Ya'll look like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers!!! How fun!!!

  • where do i get this and how much is it???

  • i love this method of training in my opinion it is one of the most humane training methods out there. i train my horses to dance in the same manner as this and have only used a whip once on one of my horses.

  • It's so heart warming to see the bond between girl and horse that can be creatd with such gentle means. Your video brought a smile to my face - thanks!

  • HAHA!!!! That's just so cute!!!! x]

  • that is awesome, she actually has rythym. I am a clicker fan.

  • AWSOME I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • Now THAT'S how you teach a horse to dance.

    OUTSTANDING! and THANK YOU!

  • Thank you for such a special video. Congratulations to you both on a bond of love and respect.

  • Wonderful!!! : D

  • I do nothing to tell her what to do. She does it all on her own. She learned this dance 3 days prior to the film. Soon she will notice the lift of the foot might be a signal for her to start. I used Clicker Training to teach her this

  • how do you start to make the horse move?

  • aww this is sooo cool! and gorgeous horse! what did you do as a command to make him do this?

  • Love this video!!! Awesome

  • awsome and cute horse

  • That is a cool trick! Really dancing together.

  • cool!! very beatiful horse!

  • Nice to see.

Looks like you are having a fun time you two. :)

  • great video!

  • omg this is freakin awsome!!

  • That's so amazing! How in the world do you train a horse to do that? Please reply or message me. I'd love to know

  • Clicker Training is how I taught this horse to do this.

    Leslie

  • Really cool :) I Like the treat system, rather then like tugging on their halter when wrong or something. Really cute, great job!

  • wow that's cool and that is a beautiful horse!

  • wow well done!

  • How do you get your horse to take the first step? It is sooooooooooooo cool. Nancy

  • Please. Please can you explain how you did this demonstration. I love to clicker train and I would love to teach this to my horse. Nancy

  • OMG..that's awesome! Loved it

  • Loved your video. Bought my first horse last summer and promptly got dumped and hurt. When I couldn't ride for 4 months, I almost sold him but decided to try clicker training him on the ground. I am a dog trainer, so I trained him just like my dogs. He now rolls a barrel and a ball, stands on a box and picks up things I drop. Clicker training is a wonderful, gentle bonding experience Think I will transfer the clicker work to in the saddle now.

  • I'd like to try this with my friends 21 year old thoroughbred.

She is sooo people orientated... she would do anything for you... this would give her something educational to do instead of chewing...

    ;-) thx for sharing!

  • This mare is funny she likes to free lance dance. This is what she does when she doesn't want to work. I like the fact that she can express herself in this way. She's has some really cool moves.

  • Soooo cutee! Beautiful horse!

  • I have a mare that stall-weaves a little. The thought occurs to me that if I taught her to 'dance' it might be a way to channel her compulsion.

  • I think your mare would just love it. My mare dances all the time on her own. It is something that she can do that is fun for her and you can connect that to side-passing backing etc. so it is something that they need to learn anyway. Thank you so much for posting.

  • Beautiful horse! Nice job.

  • What a fun idea, and beautifully executed. Great job!

(wonder if I could clicker train my parents' lazy shetland to do some dancing - he could need it, lol!)

  • Awesome job. Well done to the trainer!

  • Thank you. I will be adding soon a new video of this horse giving two little boys a dance lesson.

  • It's nice to see someone clicker training a horse. I clicker train my dogs and I know it is used with many animals, I just don't get the chance to see it! Your horse side-steps better than my dog!

  • That is just so beautiful. would love to know how to teach a horse to do that, has she learnt to follow your feet or have you taught her that routine and you do the same.

  • Wonderful! I LOVE it. Very advanced work with the complete step and crossover combined. I used to line dance and there are people who can't do that. Great job. And your horse looks happy too. Super CT!

  • Thank you. Cheyenne loves to dance. Since Clicker Training is so positive she just starts dancing on her own sometimes. I don't discourage this. I like it when a horse offers me what they would like to do.

  • Great job!

  • OH my that looks like so much fun! How do you even get started?

  • Beautiful harmony! Obvious excellent relationship between horse and human...

  • Awesome! I love it!
