Thanks.. its about how large you can make that circular movement above the head. if you can get used to how weird it feels and get the timing right for the power its not so hard.
Youtube user DasDaan did a nice one also and credited me with the "teaching" of it (o^-')b but has since taken it down.
In ancient Japan, using the left hand to draw was uncommon, and seen as a "secret" and cunning attack technique. Being naturally left handed this is my preferred way to draw. I can use either hand but the left hand knows more than my right hand.Nice cut man.
once again vlad, i watch the video, im impressed, i scroll down, i see your negative criticism, so i click on your username, and once again vlad, i see nothing.
That is incorrect. There were secret left handed techniques used to catch people who thought that only the right hand was capable off guard. Seems that you would have been one of those people!
Real swordsmen were always practising unusual techniques to make their style unique and unpredictable. Those that are truely great in any area think outside the box and adapt to best suit the time. When a technique works, only a fool would deny using it just because it is performed with the left hand.
It`s more of a philosophical matter, because on the one hand you have a fully ultimate technicue with the right hand and no "surprise", on the other hand (or should i say in the other :D), you can catch your apponent by surprise, but the technique could be less effective. i dont have a solid oppinion on this matter... yet. As for the video - nice cut, it is hard to cut with one hand, with a left hand it is even more tougher. Gear job.
The use of "philosophical" is kind of out of place. There is nothing philosophical about the issue. Sometimes the circumstances made for a fitting right hand draw cut and sometimes circumstances made for a left handed one; simple as. If you have the skill and flexability of technique to choose whatever method you like to suit the moment in question, you will be a more successful fighter/warrior..whatever you wanna call it.
The philosophy part comes in later when your opponent lies slain.
Yo i need help on my sowrd draw and need tips sence my tech is about it also can you do a right draw cut so i can see what im doing rong or need to improve a sword fight is coming up and ned 2 trin more
Beside my other comment, I would like to say: I thought you did it very well for being such an obscure technique. I know how hard it is to pull of ones like this. Try to get it a little faster though, right now, it just isn't believable as a tech. Try using a really heavy poll or something for strength training, this only takes about a week, and viola! You'll be swinging like lightning!
-notice how I never said anything was bad or mudslinged-I'm talking to you pompous wannabes!
There are too many examples out there to list, supporting my ideals. STOP BADGERING PEOPLE IN MARTIAL ARTS! I'm getting tired of wannabes telling everyone they are bad, instead of helping them.
1. No person is going to look like an anime when they do sword techniques and nobody moves like that or holds positions for unecissarily long periods of time. Nor is it practical to do techniques the way they do in movies.
2. you (I mean the critiquers) are not an expert. Stop pretending to be one.
Is their a Kata to explain how to do this correctly?

Japanese don`t use the left hand as a primary, even those, who does, gets re-educated. Thus there were no techniques invented for the left hand.
