Sorry if this saying is confusing. Fit as hell is a strange saying us English people use. Its a compliment meaning they are good looking sexy beautifull women. Why on earth the word hell can be used in these terms i dont know but if a woman is fit she gets us men going and the women on this show used to get me going when i watched them.  I hope this explains the saying "fit as hell" without sounding sexist.

Actually, I think they're both good. Benny Hill let the audiance use their eyes only. Monty Python used both audio and video, and had this slower kind of pace.

So "simple" but so effektive fun!! I love his sometimes crappy-tricks, or crappy effects!! And sometimes it is so gentle, even "Austin Powers" got inspiration from this lovely British talent! Benny was a genius and legend. From the 50s to the 90s that humble genius made the whole world laugh. He is know today as a comedian who relied on sexist and lewd jokes and its simply not true. He was a total pioneer in TV. The BBC hold the rights to his early work and should be shamed for not releasing it on DVD to show the world what a total genius this man was. And Thames TV should hang their head in total shame for sacking him in the early 90s. RIP Benny Hill you very funny man and best ever
