I felt this was the best of the final three because it's more like a western stand off kind of deal with the ka-tet having to save this town from the wolves. So it has a sort of The Good The Bad and the Ugly sort of feel to it.

personally, i think 19 represents roland's number of trips to the dark tower. on his next journey, i believe the number would turn out to be 20, then 21, and so on and so on. It's the only thing i could possible see 19 representing.
I think king should have taken waaaay more time on the last 3 books. I loved the tower series as a whole but the last 3 books were only about a 7 out of ten while the rest are like a 9 out of ten
