  • This should be named "George Harrison - Blue Jay Way"

  • Georgie is an adorable doggie-woggie....

  • The poor quality makes this better for me, most music's too hygienic these days.

  • @bashfulbrother. Yea same as he didn't really get much of a chance to shine as well as he could have and also John said that Something was the best song on abbey road

  • @alvinsinge98 but once john said he couldnt care less about "something"

  • This song is so ghost like espcially with George's voice. I LOVE IT! I go to sleep with this song on and it always bothers my parents in the middle of the night.

  • "We'll be over soon they said", "Please don't be long", "Don't belong" have always had multiple meanings for me since a kid listening to Magical Mystery Tour on vinyl. It's still a very haunting and mysterious tune, but needs to be listened to in context with the album. On its own, the song loses much of its weirdness. The movie is much better viewed in color than in black & white! The album is much better than the movie. By the (Blue Jay) way, who was the walrus?

  • @JT8800 The "real" Walrus was Paul. He was compared to a walrus by a MI5 man who discovered his mutilated corpse after the true Paul was killed in a car wreck in 1966. The Walrus in the suit on the cover of Magical Mystery Tour was John Lennon. *grin* (If you believe that Paul's dead of course...)

  • @98bigbutt no offence to george but he wasn't

  • @alvinsinge98 I won't say he was better but he was, most certainly, equivalent to their abilities.

  • I can get high just by listening to this song. <3

  • Imagine. A year ago George was singing 'if I needed someone' at budokan.

  • George was better songwriter than John and Paul combined especially in their solo albums.

  • lol, trolls

I'm pretty sure he's just copypasting this from some imageboard-because heads up bro-this is the comments section, not a thread. Maybe that blew your mind. ;3

  • the most fuked up beatles song ever

  • @EdouardPicard0224 no the mos f-ed up one is the one with thenumber 9 and shit that onescares tha crap out of me

  • @JOHNxSMITHSxSONxBOB YES! ur rigth if u put it backward it says TURN ME ON DEAD MAN .....Thats what i hear

  • @EdouardPicard0224 Ever tried Revolution 9?

  • @DocHavoc2 Yes TURN ME ON DEAD MAN :)

  • The original mono version. The "Paul is bloody" vocals were added to the stereo mix later on.

  • @Eccotoneful Really :O

  • am i dead

  • Who the hell can dislike this?

  • @ok37834 anyone could dislike this!! this is not a type of music that everyone likes from the first time they hear it.

  • They were so high !

  • Lol ringo an Paul are both alive, they're like 76 now or in their 80's :) John Lennon got shot 8 times in the back by some retard thinking he's cool 25 years ago in 1980, he's still in jail :D and gorge died from cancer in 2001 about 10 years ago, :( almost 11 and the day John died was a few days ago R.I.P John and gorge!!!!!! :(

  • @ginger8994 ringo is 71 , paul is 69 also john got shot 31 years ago and george died exactly 10 years ago on november 29

  • @ultraintensegamer The truth is hard for some to believe. Good catch.

  • totally trippy

  • hare krsna hare krsna krsna krsna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare...george we all love you,you are wonderful soul ! we love you!! and always remember!

  • i love george,hare krishna!

  • paul was the first to die

    now only ringo remains

  • @matchbox555 What are u talking about? pauls not dead

  • @kittiesgomow33 im afraid he is R.I.P

  • @matchbox555 :O whenn did he die? are u talking about the myth that he died in 1966 and got replaced?

  • @kittiesgomow33 dude dont listen to him thats bs its just the myth in 66

  • @ultraintensegamer I know those rumors are fake.. kinda obvious, im just asking if thats what he is referring to since he seems to think paul is dead... cause he isnt. it would have made international news

  • Very psychedelic !

  • ATTENTION BOARD:

If you don't bow down and call my bullshit the philosophical riches of the new century, I'll...I'll...wreck this thread! YAH. I'm really dangerous when I've been trolling for 23 hours nonstop! I HATE GEORGE HARRISON BECAUSE HE WAS A GENIUS, A REAL SOMEBODY.

Me? I'm just an annoying TALENTLESS, LYING assmunch with an epic fan club of one: the illiterate shithead named CaptainSpaulding. GAWD. He's a stupid cocksucker! Don't tell anyone I said that. I need the companionship.

  • best beatles song ever.

  • Very psychedelic ! Thank you !

  • George Harrison Forever ...... 1943 - 2001

  • Definitivamente, las mejores canciones las escribió George

  • Actually, what i have read and heard George say about the song is that it is about some friends who were supposed to show up at his place on Blue Jay Way in Los Angeles. As time passed and they didn't show, he got the inspiration for the song.

  • @grinch17 Just so you know harrison is a freakin legend he was even named one of the best guitarist of all times. Know the facts before you speak.

  • Ten years without George, we miss you! R.I.P

  • This song is supposed to be weird and creepy. It is entirely about the Paul is dead theory. If you know what I'm talking about, listen to it again and you'll see. "Well it's passed my bed I know. And I'd really like to go. Soon will be the break of day." Not to mention all the smoke (not fog) surrounding George as he sings

  • @YCWaterSports That's crap. Paul is not dead.

  • Is That a Fukin Decapitated Body!!!! 3:15

  • @jjadiel2011 Is the Paul body!

  • @hankoxD I hate that hoax

  • Comment removed

  • The best anti-drug PSA I've ever seen! I'm a Beatles fan yeah, but that don't mean that every time one of them farted I'm supposed to say, "WOW THAT WAS THE GREATEST FART EVER!" They were human and once in a while they would write a clunker.

  • Comment removed

  • @thedevilisaloser666 its called music buddy

  • @grgharrison9 yeah i like the beatles but this is flat down creepy

  • Does this song attraced anybody eles or is it just me ITs really cathchy too

  • Such a creepy vibe from this song, but god damn is it catchy lol

  • Poor George! Always struggling to be accepted. Always competing instead of just knowing his place. Like Ringo...Ringo knew his place. George always made the wrong choices. Smoking! The wrong women, the wrong music to plagiarize, the wrong business choices (Handmade Films went out of business). His weak voice and pedestrian guitar playing made him a footnote in musical history!

  • @thegrinchl7 A footnote? Hardly lol.

  • @RosebudliasCabochons - George's new (only) documentary skipped theaters and went straight to cable TV. Scorcese struggles to fill his 4 hour opus, relying on the mentally unstable (murderer) Phil Spector to sing George's praises. His wife Olivia seemed strangely inarticulate, spacey (all of this with editing). One gets the feeling that George preferred women below his station. Or is she his equal? In the end, George's fans muster up a collective "he was underrated". Hardly a vote of confidence!

  • @thegrinchl7,What are you talking about? At least it was recognized and it's not only about John Lennon for the one billionth time.

  • @thegrinchl7 Footnote? Personally, he's my favorite Beatle. Between two major egos in McCartney and Lennon, he may have seemed pushed into the background, but he had tremendous creativity and talent, and did a lot for the world of music, despite what you may think.

  • @BodhiGamer preach brother

  • @BodhiGamer - There's a reason the Beatles and producer George Martin REJECTED much of George's music. It was THAT BAD. Mind you, I think the Beatles knew a little bit more about what "good music" was than you or I. Yes?

  • @thegrinchl7 Harrison wrote While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Ringo wrote Octopus's Garden. Lennon and McCartney wrote Revolution 9. Need I say more?

  • @BodhiGamer - Yes, but can you name a GOOD song he wrote?

  • @thegrinchl7 I get where you're coming from, but I think "something" and "within you without you" are brilliant.

  • @thegrinchl7 And anyway, 'all things must pass' is probably the best album by and the the beatles after the breakup, so I don't know how you can say that george is less talented than the others.

Go and listen to songs like isn't it a pity or my sweet lord and tell me that he has no talent.

  • @Drenwickification- "ALL things Must Pass" is a

collection of songs George wrote and submitted

to the Beatles...but who then REJECTED. Out of

26 songs, you better have 2 or 3 good songs. His

biggest "hit" turned out to be PLAGIARIZED. No

matter how you cut it...George either had bad luck

or the man just simply had no sense. He seemed

to struggle with music, lyrics and even with person-

ality issues. What else can you say about a man

    who SMOKED himself to death?

  • @thegrinchl7 Listen, you're entitled to your own opinion but we came for George Harrison and his music. WE GET YOU DON'T LIKE HIM! The only thing your doing by putting those hateful comments up is starting fights and I don't think thats doing any good ;(

  • @thegrinchl7 By the way, WHO ever said that "My Sweet Lord" was his BEST song. you're just saying it was to make us think that he sucks more! How about Something or Here Comes the Sun or Within You Without You?

  • @mrbeng111 - I never said "My Sweet Lord" was

his BEST song (man, I can't stand this overplayed

song either). I said it was the biggest "hit" on All

Things Must Pass. Look, you can argue that George

wrote some "good" songs. If you and I had been in

the Beatles, surrounded by John and Paul and the

genius George Martin, even we would have written

2 or 3 "hits". The trouble with George is that for every

good song he wrote, he wrote 20 others that were

    JUST AWFUL!

  • @mrbeng111, you don't have to take anything I say seriously at all. You see, I'm an ignorant assmunch. I hate George Harrison because he was more successful in his solo career than my idol John Lennon. John couldn't write songs worth a damn without George's riffs. SHEESH! Oh, I'm just a troll. Thegrinchl7 is just one of my bullshit IDs. CubancheGuevara, TwoUselessLegs, ArgentineExpel4Fraud? THEY'RE ALL ME! I'm just a deranged, ignorant troller with NO musical qualifications who hates on George!

  • @thegrinchl7 Really not sure if you're taking the piss.

While My Guitar Gently weeps nearly got rejected because John and Paul thought it was a bad song, are you going to say that's a bad song as well then? Why do you think he got Eric Clapton in for it? I'd definitely say he had bad luck, and please tell me what you think the 2 or 3 good songs are so I can see what you think are supposedly 'bad' songs.

...also, not all of those songs are ones that were rejected with the beatles.

  • @Drenwickification I'm just a troll. Thegrinchl7 is just one of my bullshit IDs. Visit any number of George Harrison sites, and you'll see me posting the SAME shitty hate Harrison crap! CubancheGuevara? That's me! TwoUselessLegs? Yep. Me again. thegrinchl7? Fuck, it's just me! ArgentineExpel4Fraud? You get the picture. Check this picture out: I don't play ANY instrument or read music. My opinion is bullshit! I never attended college. My snarky attitude is more bullshit! Dren, I'm an asshole!

  • @thegrinchl7 excuse me, his guitar playing was GENIUS! Some of the best riffs ever written. he is underrated by freakin people like you, people who can't play Guitar. but those who do play guiatr look up to him as a legend.

by the way, Something, While my Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes the Sun, Don't Bother Me, Within You Without You, I Me Mine, Taxman,I need You. and you say he didn't write good songs. Think about this, even if u think he didnt write gd songs, he still wrote better than you

  • @mrbeng111 - I swear, it's like you're speaking another language. You think TAXMAN is a good song with good lyrics? Or "I, Me, Mine"? "Don't Bother Me"? I have completely forgot about these and for GOOD reason! HOW can anyone be "underrated"? Seriously, there's no such thing. Either people LIKE YOU or they DON'T! George's recent rise in how he's perceived has more to do with COMMERCE than with "talent". Notice how every 10 years we are given cause to buy Beatles music ALL OVER AGAIN?
  • @thegrinchl7 What is wrong with the lyrics on taxman? :s

  • I swear, it's like I'm posting the same stinking anti-George BULLSHIT over and over again. Oh. I am doing that. Uhhh....Like take my horse shit about the lyrics and music of TAXMAN, I Me, Mine, or Don't Bother Me. I NEVER studied literature at ANY college, so I don't know Humpty took a Dumpty about what makes lyrics good or bad or whatever! Music? Nope. NEVER studied it or even played any instrument either. Like I said, I'm a chicken shit squawking asshole who trolls from my mom's garage!

  • I think it has to sound cool played backwards ;)

  • speaks of the malaise and sordid failure of capitalist america

  • anyone else smoke a doobie a minute ago?

  • @LostInMyOwnHead666 three mins ago! brilliant

  • This song is so cool, and so mysterious!

I can't believe George made this song while waiting for friends on the actual Blue Jay Way!

  • I Would Hate To Be His Friend Getting Lost. I Always Get Scared When I'm Lost. :P Great Song, But A Bit Creepy, But Yet Again Great Song!

  • this song is somewhat creepy, but i like it anyway

  • I love John in this! XD

  • I think what made the Beatles special was how their style of music changed overtime. While the early Beatles sounded similar to some other 60s musicians, very few musicians in the 60s evolved their sound as much as the Beatles did.

  • MMT is my fav Beatles album, and after Walrus this is my fav tune on it.Gotta love George, much to underrated!

  • This is why I will never get stoned!

  • Please dont be very long, with refilling my bong...

  • Blue-tiful. Thanks George!

  • cant stop hitting REPLAY!!!

  • @xxTitanicRocksxx As if turns out you were right :)

  • Goodnight George, i love you and i'll never stop missing you.

  • oh yeah, his eye's look so mysterious and alluring in this video, this is a definete turn-on. those eye's....... they seem to hold me in their grasp and finally let me go when the song is over. i've truely never seen eye's like George's before. I love and Miss you George, rest in peace. and so will i thinking about your mysterious beautiful eye's.

  • George looks so alluring in this video. his voice sounds so mysterious and the music seems to fit in perfectly with the tone. his eye's look so.... wait, i just forgot what i was about to write!

  • Look at those mustaches :{D

  • George looks like he has no eyes at the end of the vid...

  • I think this song was created for it's hidden message when played backwards.

  • @Aphex217Twin about paul?

  • @thedevilisaloser666 the chorus backwards sounds like " He said Get me out, paul is watching, paul is Hare Krishna is seems, Paulie is watching.

  • @Aphex217Twin i know i watched the movie

  • @Aphex217Twin im about to go look it up and see if it's true, it probably is but its almost two in the morning so not now, maybe later on in the day.

  • Best fucking song

  • The Beatles went to L.A.. and git scared of all the hippies doing drugs and went home and wrote this song ;;; theres a fog upon LA and my friends have lost there way ;;; at this time they was doing drugs ;;; Lennons song Happiness is a warm gun was the time of Heroin tripping and hog leg smoking

  • @smitt9

george wrote the song & it wasnt about hippies or drugs. it was about him waiting for a friend to show up at his house...but the friend was lost in LA & couldnt find harrison's house which was on a street called "Blue Jay Way"..harrison was very tired but had to wait up, he kept himself awake by writing this song

  • 3:16 this body is paul mccartney? 0:41 "Please don't be long please don't you be very long

Please don't be long or I may be asleep" upside says "paul is bloddy, paul is bloddy, paul is really bloddy"

  • I actually feel a bit scared by this song XD

  • George is so hot and so is his voice. <3

  • @xxTitanicRocksxx I thought it was "there's a f*ckup on Elaine"

  • This song freaks me the fuck out

  • paulie is naughty get it

  • Not much Pixels :(

  • I always thought it was "please don't be long, please don't belong" as if the person people he is speaking of would get lost in LA if they belong.

  • 2:09 he's really having a good time with that giant violin

  • you dont need drugs when you have this song.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • lets see Justin Beiber do this BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!!!

  • @BEATLESRAWSOME97 I don't even want to see him attempt doing a Beatles song. It'll remove any hope for humanity that I have left

  • GEORGE HARRISON! Y U SO SEXY? Like honeslty... He was still very sexy even when he was older

  • @LoveLyrics99 Indeed. Very Very Sexy :D Even when he was dying. R.I.P Babe :'[

  • Love this song

  • Jesus this song is creepy.

  • 1:30 looks like a body......decapited o_0

  • Was this filmed by a calculator?

  • @aqkp no, actually, it was filmed with a toaster :D

  • @aqkp I believe this is from the low quality Magical Mystery Tour. The quality of the filming was poor, and the movie was not well received either. But I like it!

  • @aqkp good one

  • This version is different from the one I had. The back masking verses are missing

  • @exnewsanchor Yup, Mono & Stereo are quite different for this track. I grew up with stereo and therefore prefer it. I'm pretty sure if I had heard Mono first, I might like that better.

  • This is one of my favorite George Harrison songs. The ominous and surreal quality of the song is an interesting contrast to the routine situation of waiting for friends to show up.

  • DIOS!! ME ENCANTA ESTA CANCION!

  • George was a very underrated Beatle. Frankly, I think this song and others he wrote capture the kind of 60s mystical Beatles essence. His song "when we was fab" just captures and sums up that whole era to me anyway. So he still had the gift, twenty years on. Great persona and very nice guitarist by the way.

  • Nice

  • haha George's eyes...ALL PUPIL!

  • A very good definiton of "surreal" at 1:45 - Ringo plays a white cello in a garden at night (and everything that appears afterwards).

  • @MyRockmetal

How do you feel now after coming back from Psychiatry?

    best wishes!!

  • @klinsmeier xD

  • 11 people need a f****** life

  • Im not gonna lie, the first and second time I heard this song I hated it but now I love it

  • What's the purpose of this song? BTW it scares me!

  • good song. kinda weird. not like most of the beatles ive heard

  • Creepy. As. Hell.

  • Hey guys, we should keep the Likes & Posts quiet so this doesn't get taken down. ~ Just an idea ~ Peace

  • 1:13 THUNDER CAT!!

  • George Harrison is so fucking cool.

  • 3:18 someones head gets chopped off

  • This song scares the hell out of me. Even more so than Revolution 9.

  • I NEED TO FIND THAT STREET!

  • Someone, please give George a sandwich or something! He looks emaciated.

  • 11 people went to red jay way

  • 11 people have lost their way....

  • I love this song. And the movie. It made me feel like I was on a trip.

  • Am I dead..?

  • @Syndicate93 If not, you could be by the time you've heard all of this song. god, it's depessing ?!

  • @manpower3000 It's depressing, beautiful, creepy, odd, brilliant! I really can't understand where they could find all the inspiration for songs like this. This song really makes you feel like you recently died in a car crash, and the hidden messages in the stereo version about Pauls "death" really scares me at night if you sit in a dark room..

  • @Syndicate93 Hahahahaa i was just watching this, mouth agape.

  • @Syndicate93 paul might be, listen to i backwards

  • George looks so pale in this video he looks as if he were dead. Not to be ironic but you know what I mean

  • @wewillbugyou This is because they were leaving clues. George actually died in 1965 in a boating accident and was replaced. Did you see when the firework hit George? They did that in the video because there was an explosion on the boat and George was hit by the fire and died. By 1969, all 4 of The Beatles had died and been replaced.

  • @gmenrule1024 WTF ?

  • @gmenrule1024 How did Ringo die then.
