I am looking for a papillon puppy to buy. Is this a male or a female. I am having problem deciding which sex to purchase.

I think both sexes are equally good pets. Males tend to be a bit more loving than females, not to say females are not loving. Also, usually there are more male puppies born than females so choosing a male may be a faster way to get a puppy.

I would say Amen on both points Boboua, couldn't have put it better myself, cautiondietcoke; on what Boboua said. Owned both sexes of Papillons. All there is left to be said is please be prepared.....these hardy little dogs live a long life!:)(Mine and my sisters' were both 18 when they passed away),-my latest little bud is celebrating his 1st birthday this Thursday-many of more to come! :)

May I ask what you feed or do to keep your dogs in such good health? Most Paps I know only live to 12-15. I really have no clue since I just got my first Pap a month ago.

I don't know if it's just yours and my pappy, but I can seriously teach her any trick with 1-2 treats she gets it, EXTREMELY smart.

Actually ran out of things to teach her at 1 yr old, you gave me some good ideas, TY!

Mine loves people and playing and learning, shes such a joy to have around, she'll always be my baby!!!
