@mikebrecher midi out is always enabled in iPad apps, you have to turn it on your computer, in mac, connect both devices to the same network, go to Audio and midi setup and there's the network option, this discovers your iPad and creates a new session, and that's it.

@josephrhj to enable MIDI out, I use the Apple camera connector, and a USB/MIDI cable. but I would love to know how to send MIDI with wifi.
