Honestly to think of who could play her? Yes, it would be hard to imagine what performer. However, some might turn their noses up but, my thought is the singer, "Pink". Her voice sounds slightly like Dusty's. They are both soulful and both are attractive. To think of it , like Dusty, many call Pink the "white girl of soul". Either way, Dusty is irreplaceable and it would be a hard fit to become the perfect portrayl.

Another example of the fact that no one could sing as well as Dusty! Volume never affects the quality of her voice - IMO it is still unsurpassed.

May I ask a question? Is anyone else disconcerted at the thought of a movie about Dusty? I can't imagine any actress, past or present, that could possibly do justice to her talent or beauty. I also don't think that any screenwriter could accurately portray her enigmatic life or personality. I prefer to remember and adore the real Dusty.

I completely agree with everything you have said... Are they just rumours about the film? (hope so) as i have read a lot about it. Nicole Kidman is a name thats has been linked with it and also another actress but i cant remember her name. God please no! No one can portray her.. Dusty was Dusty and no one else will be. As a huge fan I think I would find it difficult to watch the film too. We all miss her and I think some would agree with me on that

Who could play her? Answer: nobody. Too unique, every note spot on and you cannot copy her free flowing physicality. A good documentary would be better than a tepid bio. The BBC did one (which is on here) and it's good.
