@ComputerTekkie It's incredible for video productsion - I've use it for my past few since this unboxing video. The t1i is quite nice as well but it lacks the manual video controls that allow you to control ISO, aperture, shutter speed, etc in movie mode.

@ShakeAndBakeGuy There's no technical 'proof' but Canon is just like Apple where they release products on a fairly regular basis. With Canon the t1i was released in February, the t2i was released the following February, and the t3i is likely to be released this upcoming February.
