@kreeepyy He does sound like George. John had a sore throat when they recorded the album in one day. You can really tell in Twist and Shout. And he still sounds amazing.

What I heard was, many of these songs off of the Twist and Shout/The Early Beatles release were done practically live... especially when they did the song Twist and Shout (at the end) it was a throw in to use up the rest of their studio time - that's why John's voice sounds so raspy on it. oldies.about.com/od/britishinvasion/a/twistandshout.htm
