silly, silly conservatives. pushing out moderates never helped the left, and it's never going to help you guys. can't wait to see your conservative candidate in 2012 get CRUSHED by Obama.
The reason McCain lost was because he was a big spending, douche bag. Everyone I know who voted for Bush, voted third party last election. Obama's poll numbers have been hitting new lows ever since he took office. I really don't know why you are so confident in him. He has done nothing but add to our nation's debt that probably won't be paid off in my lifetime, and I am only 25. 60% of the country claim to be conservatives, the reason the Repubs got smashed is because they are neo-cons. Big dif.
You need to get info somewhere else than from talk radio, Fox News, and RedState.
Long ago, freedom loving Americans and Europeans used to broadcast the Voice of America into the communist bloc to get past the crazed propaganda and lies. Maybe we need to do something like that for the wingersphere.
Sixty percent of Americans identifying as conservative. Hilarious!
You need to get your info from somewhere besides Media Matters, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, NPR, or any other liberal source. I don't have TV, so I don't watch FOX... I listen to some talk radio but I disagree with them quite often, and whatever RedState is I don't really give a shit... Besides that polls range from 60 to 40% conservative. In almost all polls I have seen there is at least 10% more conservatives in this country than liberals. Most people don't like the bailouts, or debt. PERIOD.
So your contention is that the entirety of all news besides talk radio has a liberal bias? Really?
I'd love to see the poll you speak of. Seriously, I would. If it's the recent Gallup Poll, 40% of Americans identified themselves as "conservative", but further questioning revealed over a third of them didn't actually hold the conservative beliefs they claimed.
I don't watch TV news either, but I do look at a variety of sources on the Internet. I agree people are dissatisfied, though.
Most people in this country are for smaller government. That is the backbone of conservatism. Most people in this country hate how we spend gobs of money trying to police the world. Most people in this country hold Libertarian views but are brainwashed into voting D or R. And yes, I do believe that the previously listed are Democrat mouthpieces, while FOX and most of talk radio are Republican mouthpieces. People are so party oriented, like it is a good vs. evil thing, when it clearly is not.
Could you show me the polls that lead you to believe that "most people in this country are for smaller government" and "most people hate how we spend gobs of money trying to police the world" please?
When people are shown what Libertarians support they run from it as fast as they do from the Communists. Both Libertarians and Communists have less than 1% support in every election I have seen tallied. Where is the Libertarian groundswell?
I agree, however that many people are brainwashed.
Instead of calling names, why don't you read the Washington Compost article on October 23, 2009 titled "Deeds ignored advice, White House says", then get back to me on this.
Really? How the hell can he be wrong? Your party just asked it's elected rep. to bow out because she was too liberal. Reagan wanted ALL conservative views, ALL. Where do you think the term "big tent" came from?
How do you GAIN from substracting? Your party just got rid of a loyal member of it;s ranks. Even Gingrich said so.
She endorsed the DEM because she knew that the people of her area wanted a more moderate Rep.
After 60 years of Progressive lies, hate, greed, destroying the economy, racial and sexual preference and protection laws, increased crime, divorce up, drug use up, foreclosures up, homelessness up, inflation up, country on the verge of revolution, education a shambles, criminal politicians and government officials, etc, etc...and the list could go on for page after page. Yes, it is time for conservative change and Republicans who are really Progressives must go back to the Democratic Party.

Seriously? You think that?
As a big believer in personal responsibility, I'd look at that list and place the blame squarely on myself and my fellow citizens for allowing it to happen and doing little about it.

Strict constructionist conservative Republicans, like the 7vs2 Repub appointees to the SCOTUS who ruled that corporations can take private land under Eminent Domain? Like the 2 leadership Republicans who cast the final two & deciding votes to defeat a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution in the '80's? Like Dubya who suspended Habeas Corpus & tortured? Like Nixon, who hired burglars? Like Reagan, who illegally sold arms to our enemy? You won't find who you are looking for in the GOP
...asshat My point is that both parties are flawed. I could go on about the democrats too. Will I ,no it is counterproductive at this point. besides any one who says W tortured is ridiculous. You are the kind of person that can not have a logical discussion because you are to restricted because of your ideology. So whats the point? After all the Dems never did anything wrong, huh?
Dumb ass, my moniker is xilef. Obviously reading is not your strong suit.
So, you'll concede that Bush suspended Habeas Corpus, but then want to argue and allege that you have the logical high road.
If your point is to say that both parties are flawed stop defending the neo-cons new party girl.
I see the freedom loving free speechers are here with their thumbs down to American history. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored or disliked. Truth is not a popularity contest.
Lets see I am "dumb ass", you are still..asshat. I said both parties are flawed, because of corruption and special interest. Inside the Beltway it is nothing but a Brothel, To disinfect D.C. we must have term limits, lobbyist must register like sex offenders and stay away from the kiddies in the hill. Corrupt politicians can no longer get a pass. Can you say Charlie Wrangel? No the "chattering class" is sick of it, DEMS,IND,REPB it is no longer about the party's, it is about the principals.
I never said I was a dumb ass,ass hat. Those have been your words. I happen to agree with you on these things" Big government intervention is not the answer." and "The answer is representation." Does that make you a dumb ass too?Just a thought. PS if you would let folks comment on your channel we could have figured this out a long time ago.
Yes, Dumb ass, those have been my words, until you wrote them 3 messages up, which sparked the agreement.
No, Dumb ass, knowing the answer does not make me a dumb ass.
If you're against big government intervention then quit advocating for it--registering & tracking lobbyists like sex offenders is gov't intervention. You see, that makes you a CINO.
Have you even wondered where all the money being spent on health care insurance now will go if health care goes public? It won't evaporate.
The first president to massively suspend Habeas Corpus was Abraham Lincoln. As for Bush suspending Habeas Corpus, he did in a few cases and Obama is continuing those same policies. As for "torture", using that word to describe what happened in GitMo is like using the word arson to describe lighting a cigar. Not the same. The GOP sucks, bunch of greedy robber barons, but all politicians in Washington, DC suck. Not a single one of them has a soul.
If by few, you mean 775, you are right. If by saying that Obama is continuing those policies you mean he is releasing the detainees and allowing them to go to trial, you are again right. If you mean that lighting a cigar and then placing it on a man's genitals your analogy is correct. BTW some of Bush's torture was contracted out and took place in other countries, even in Iraq (remember the pictures of Abu Ghraib). In other words, you are absolutely wrong about these 3 issues.
Obama isn't releasing them. That's why Gitmo won't be closed "within one year of inauguration" as Obama promised. Naked pyramids with panties on your head happens during every Rush Week at Frats all over the US. Waterboarding is nothing compared to what our enemies do. The fact effeminite cowards like you soil your panties over Abu Ghraib and call waterboading "torture" makes terrorists laugh. Check out what Afghans did to Soviet soldiers in the 80s. THAT'S torture.
You should get out of your cave more often, BloodyPanties. Do the Google on Uigher, internet tough guy, then strap yourself into one of those non torture chairs used at Abu Ghraib and see who cries for his mommy.
Then crawl back into your cave and look at the other Abu Ghraib pictures, I'm sure you'll pop a wad over the hooded guy wired to the A/C.
If you like torture so much, why not move to a country where it's allowed instead of trying to condone it here? We won't miss you.
You want to bring up the Uigher? Do you believe Obama settling terrorists in a Pacific paradise will discourage or encourage more terrorism? And they are terrorists. According to agreements between China and the US, what one nation calls a terrorist must be respected by the other. Torture is allowed in the US. Apparently, you haven't been forced to watch Obama when his teleprompter stops working. Hahahaha
Just a guess, but I doubt you've ever been on an island in the Pacific. I've just returned from 1 in the Gulf of Thailand. Nice place 2 visit, not 4 living.
I'm no more afraid of the paper terrorists than the 500 other released kidnap victims of Gitmo.
Renaming alleged POW's to enemy combatants to avoid a civil lawsuit over their illegal detention is an act of people who believe in the rule of man, not law.
When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross.
Hey genius, Thailand isn't in the Pacific Ocean like Palau. As for Uighurs, look at the hundreds of dead Han Chinese they murdered over the summer and tell me again how peaceful they are.
If the prisoners in GitMo aren't dangerous, then why doesn't Obama just sign an order releasing all of them instead of holding them under Bush's policies?
Fascism is already in America, it came promising Hope and Change, with copious amounts of NAZI-era imagery and children singing Der Fuhrer's praises.
Gee, sub-genius, you mean that there r islands that aren't in the Pacific. I had no clue. Tell us about your island experiences
You mean those Uighurs who were on their way to Turkey b4 being kidnapped in Afpakistan & held in Gitmo for 8 years got weekend passes to go kill the Chinese?
Because unlike Bush, Obama adheres to the law. Bush & his cronies passed laws after the kidnappings to hold the victims & prevent lawsuits.
I agree that Fascism is already in America. You are a prime example.
Obama adheres to the law? What a crock. Apparently, you haven't realized that its Obama's Justice Department that's still fighting Maher Arar to deny him compensation and an apology for his extraordinary rendition at the hands of US authorities (Canada has already apologized and compensated him). If Obama adheres to "the law", then why continue the Bush Administration's legal distortions in favor of kidnapping and torture?
Obama is a liar, like all politicians. Consider yourself a fool.
Obama is not kidnapping & torturing, that was Bush, Dolt. It was also Bush who enacted the ex post facto laws that Obama is adhering too.
Read BEFORE asking stupid questions to try to make a point.
Maybe because he can't fire the lawyers or even reassign them because of current litigation by the lawyers Bush fired. Honestly IDK why Obama is continuing the police state tactics of his predecessor and it bothers me quite a bit. But it was the SCOTUS that ultimately made the Arar decision.
Dolt? Ex post facto laws are specifically prohibited in Art. I, Sec. 9 of the US Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land. By definition, if Obama is adhering to an Ex Post Facto law as you claim, then he is violating the Constitution itself.
Seriously, bringing up ex post facto to defend Obama was an epic fail on your part, moron.
A law is a law until it's not. The failure is by the Repubs for enacting such and the SCOTUS for allowing it. And obviously you for not realizing it.
Show us the section of the Constitution that provides for signing statements which are the same as line item veto, just renamed, which the SCOTUS has ruled as improper.
You've earned your name quite well and truly here, Dolt.
Admit it, you argued that Obama was blameless for adhering to ex post facto laws without knowing the Constitution (Art. 1, Sec 9.) specifically bans them. As an attorney, Obama should know better.
As for my nick, you have no idea where "Blood of Patriots" comes from, do you? Talk about ignorance. Take your head out of Obama's ass and go to the library.
I know, books intimidate you. Ask the nice librarian for a picture book about Thomas Jefferson. Pick up one on grammar, too.
No, as my argument states, I advised you that the GOP is anti Constitution
That wanting to be right all the time can be a severe handicap when talking with someone who is smarter than you because we know when you're making shit up to be self serving
I doubt that Jefferson ever uttered the words BloodyPanties in public. Talk about living in ignorance, quit sniffing your own ass & take a look around you. Stupid people talk about things that they don't understand constantly. Like you & Jefferson
Both the GOP and Democratic Party are anti-Constitution. Big government violates states' rights in determing what is best for their citizens. Your lame ad hominem attack is amusing.
As for Thomas Jefferson, he said: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
You still haven't admitted that Obama's adhering to ex post facto laws is unconstitutional. This is the problem with Obammites like you, your "Dear Leader" can do no wrong.
Actually, intelligent people are easily amused by stupid people who believe they're intelligent. Especially when a stupid person finds a way to argue that making an ex post facto law is illegal but enforcing an ex post facto law is not.
Why can't you admit that if Obama is enforcing a Bush-era ex post facto law, then he is acting unconstitutionally -- the very same charge you throw at Bush.
The point being that you're so blinded by your Dear Leader, you believe him infallible.
You know that "I'm rubber you are glue" gambit just proves my point. Not smart enough for a pithy come back, you resort to grade school tactics.
Also, as you have dutifully pointed out, I have remained mostly silent on Obama's participation in the ex post facto enforcement, so another fail.
Although I did point out that a law is a law until it's not. It's the job of the SCOTUS to declare something Unconstitutional, not your whipping boy. Learn your checks & balances.
Remaining silent on an issue is cowardice. As for grade school tactics, what's with this grade-school-gamer talk like "fail"? Only kids use the word "fail" as a noun. Adults use it as a verb.
Obama is an attorney. As an attorney, he knows that he can overturn Bush's "ex post facto" laws with an executive order, just as Bush did to create it. Obama's just as dirty as Bush and Clinton.
Learn the difference between Executive and Legislative powers. After you graduate from junior high.
You should save your last message and read it again in a year. You'll wonder at how you contorted your arguments so much just to feel like you won. That's cowardice.
There's nothing left to discuss with you, you've hopped the teabag express to the black hole of depraved conjecture. Enjoy the ride, it's all you've got.
Consider your argument: The person that creates an illegal policy is breaking the law, but the one that follows it after him isn't.
Congratulations, you just absolved Adolf Eichmann of his role in the Holocaust since he was only following the earlier, albeit, illegal, orders created by his predecessor, Reinhard Heydrich.
When are leaving for Israel to request an apology from that nation for executing an "innocent" man under your interpretation of the "Obama Exception" to illegal laws?
If you had a rebuttal, you'd post it. If you didn't believe I had a valid argument, you wouldn't bother replying.
Since you have no rebuttal, yet cannot bring yourself to not reply, the only logical conclusion is that you've conceded the point of your argument. By adhering to an ex post facto law, Obama is violating the Constitution.
Just admit it. Your "savior" is a politician just like every other politician. They have no souls and are all self-serving. Now go drink your Flavor-Aid.
Check our Mary Matalin's body language. Not only does she think her husband is full of crap, she also can't wait to get home, strap on the dildo and give him an anal "attitude adjustment". Hahaha
Be fair, the Democrats have had their sales pitches too. Like being the party that lifts black Americans out of poverty. What a crock. Like their sales pitch that the Fed. Dept. of Education would improve public schools. Again, a complete crock.
Carville is useless as pundit because he doesn't make sense anymore.
I think Carville is trying to say that the Repubs have become a party of insiders & to get elected you must adhere to their Neo-con doctrine or they'll run one of their well funded chosen against you in a primary.
Irisojects doesn't get it at all. There are no Socialists or Communists in American politics. There are elitists, though, & they are mostly Repubs. Most Repubs are CINO's who say one thing then work against it.
Really? .....asshat "There are no Socialists or Communists in American politics." Where have you been? I think the amount of socialist agenda BHO and the goons on the hill have pulled over on the people of the USA is pretty good evidence. Oh, never mind the man behind the curtain. Why it is only Andy Sterns or George Soros. By no means is this health care bill socialized medicine, are you joking me?
Study some history & politics. Just because your masters & the media want to call it socialism or communism doesn't make it so.
Single payer or Medicare for all is no more socialist than public works or sending a man to the moon. If you want to whine about it, you can, but if you want to put your money where your mouth is, quit flushing your toilet until you sign up for privatized sewage disposal, stop driving on our roads, & get off our internet.
....ass hat Your the one whining. I should go to Somalia so you can have your workers paradise here. Sounds fun. Your roads? Our Internet?Looks like asshat has delusions of grandeur. suck it up us " okies" aren't going anywhere. Maybe Europe would appreciate your educated refinement more. Bye Bye
BTW I happen to live in Oklahoma, so I agree that this bunch of inbred hillbillies ain't going nowhere.
Fortunately, I have been somewhere and in most of those places knowledge is power.
On my last trip to somewhere else I met both Inhoffe and Coburn. I know Inhoffe is your idol because he's not very bright, but Coburn is another matter. He's smart. Knows the issues, both sides. He even said that HB676 will pass eventually.
Go Irisobjects and other ideology purist! Keep those Republican numbers headin' down! Add in your fantasy that many others share your crazed views, and keep watching Fox News!
Next, let's have the socialist Kucinich dipshits take over the Democrats! Then no one will vote!
Splendid!
Sorry, but the Republicans are kicking out mainstream America and becoming the party of Appalachia. Good Luck with that.
theuncajim You mean midstream Are you a Republican? Doubt it. You are probably out of one of the last four groups I mentioned. I am sick and tired of namby-pamby Republicans. My thought no guts, no glory. Hey its about time the GOP stood-up and said thats is enough appeasement and started to man-up.
Rock and Roll! Go for it! Only accept support from the rightest of the right wingers who get all their info from Fox News if you want to. You seem to think that's a lot of people. I'll give you that it's a loud group that votes, but it's a small group of people compared to the one you're casting off.
Enjoy Appalachia and losing even bigger in 2010!
Also, when has the GOP appeased anyone lately? I'm a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. Neither major party appeals to me.
uncajim I think we are closer on the issues than you realize. I am a fiscal conservative, free market believer, and want government the hell out of my way. Do you really think this present government is going to give up power? Probably not. Well Appalachia might be an ok place now that they are giving out free cell phones. Whats free next Internet and cable TV? Socially liberal enough for you?
Governments give up power all the time. We just have to make sure that our representatives who make up the government do as we wish. How does ceding responsibility accomplish that?
We just got done with the most disastrous 10 years (half of Clinton's last term and Bush's two) of Federal mismanagement, corruption, and cronyism. How is the GOP convincing anyone they can step in and begin fixing the damage?
Regulations, babe. Tons and Tons of them. Over site, fees and taxes. Those all get in the way. More government is never a good thing,I agree with you on that. Federal mismanagement, yes it has been epic, Will the GOP in its present state be able to fix it ?NO. They have to snap out of it and start running better candidates.
So, if we get rid of *more* safety regulations like the ones that used to be in place before the housing fraud implosion we'll somehow magically improve things?
And we're supposed to not tax enough to pay for the services we require out of government? So we run up more debt? That's not a long term plan I like.
How will the GOP fix the Federal Government even if they have a "real conservative" infusion? They have had no new ideas in 10 years, and all their old ones have been proven bad.
First paragraph in you comment. The first domino, the Community Reform act. Barney Frank and his boyfriend at Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac . Lend to who ever had a pulse. We didn't need ant stinking income verification . Mistake. Taxes are the chains on the free market economy and simply redistribution of wealth. Who wins the central government ,its all about the control. Lastly the GOP isn't the same, nope it is all about the coalitions now. You'll have to figure that one out yourself Peace out
Ummm...do you mean the Community Reinvestment Act? The 1977 legislation designed to stop redlining? That caused the collapse? Please,
Every *credible* expert will tell you the lack of oversight and the hands-off approach Congress and the White house had to changing banking rules and regulations to keep up with modern borrowing practices were the real problem.
The banks were offering credit no one could really afford to everyone -and many banks outright lied to people.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
No the big tent is still there. It is just full of REAL Americans, not a bunch of losers like you Chester James. Conservatives are the real people .Business owners, military, Moms, blue collar workers, and young people, democrats and independents that believe in the future of the USA. Its just not a place for RINO's, Socialist, Communist and the Elite.
Marxists, such as Van Jones, Anita Dunn, Mark Lloyd (just to name a few) should have no place under either tent.

Corrupt politicians can no longer get a pass. Can you say Charlie Wrangel? No the "chattering class" is sick of it, DEMS,IND,REPB it is no longer about the party's, it is about the principals.
irisojects 2 years ago
There you go with that RINO/CINO stuff again. Big government intervention is not the answer.
The answer is representation. Take a look at thirty-thousand. org.
At least we agree on one thing--you're a dumb ass.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
I never said I was a dumb ass,ass hat. Those have been your words. I happen to agree with you on these things" Big government intervention is not the answer." and "The answer is representation." Does that make you a dumb ass too?Just a thought. PS if you would let folks comment on your channel we could have figured this out a long time ago.
irisojects 2 years ago

BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
If by few, you mean 775, you are right. If by saying that Obama is continuing those policies you mean he is releasing the detainees and allowing them to go to trial, you are again right. If you mean that lighting a cigar and then placing it on a man's genitals your analogy is correct. BTW some of Bush's torture was contracted out and took place in other countries, even in Iraq (remember the pictures of Abu Ghraib). In other words, you are absolutely wrong about these 3 issues.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Obama isn't releasing them. That's why Gitmo won't be closed "within one year of inauguration" as Obama promised. Naked pyramids with panties on your head happens during every Rush Week at Frats all over the US. Waterboarding is nothing compared to what our enemies do. The fact effeminite cowards like you soil your panties over Abu Ghraib and call waterboading "torture" makes terrorists laugh. Check out what Afghans did to Soviet soldiers in the 80s. THAT'S torture.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Why would we want to do that or what we did again?
How was what we did legal again?
Soil myself? Hardly. Wondering who would defend things that are clearly wrong? Absolutely.
TheUncajim 2 years ago
You should get out of your cave more often, BloodyPanties. Do the Google on Uigher, internet tough guy, then strap yourself into one of those non torture chairs used at Abu Ghraib and see who cries for his mommy.
Then crawl back into your cave and look at the other Abu Ghraib pictures, I'm sure you'll pop a wad over the hooded guy wired to the A/C.
If you like torture so much, why not move to a country where it's allowed instead of trying to condone it here? We won't miss you.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
You want to bring up the Uigher? Do you believe Obama settling terrorists in a Pacific paradise will discourage or encourage more terrorism? And they are terrorists. According to agreements between China and the US, what one nation calls a terrorist must be respected by the other. Torture is allowed in the US. Apparently, you haven't been forced to watch Obama when his teleprompter stops working. Hahahaha
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Just a guess, but I doubt you've ever been on an island in the Pacific. I've just returned from 1 in the Gulf of Thailand. Nice place 2 visit, not 4 living.
I'm no more afraid of the paper terrorists than the 500 other released kidnap victims of Gitmo.
Renaming alleged POW's to enemy combatants to avoid a civil lawsuit over their illegal detention is an act of people who believe in the rule of man, not law.
When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Hey genius, Thailand isn't in the Pacific Ocean like Palau. As for Uighurs, look at the hundreds of dead Han Chinese they murdered over the summer and tell me again how peaceful they are.
If the prisoners in GitMo aren't dangerous, then why doesn't Obama just sign an order releasing all of them instead of holding them under Bush's policies?
Fascism is already in America, it came promising Hope and Change, with copious amounts of NAZI-era imagery and children singing Der Fuhrer's praises.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Gee, sub-genius, you mean that there r islands that aren't in the Pacific. I had no clue. Tell us about your island experiences
You mean those Uighurs who were on their way to Turkey b4 being kidnapped in Afpakistan & held in Gitmo for 8 years got weekend passes to go kill the Chinese?
Because unlike Bush, Obama adheres to the law. Bush & his cronies passed laws after the kidnappings to hold the victims & prevent lawsuits.
I agree that Fascism is already in America. You are a prime example.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Obama adheres to the law? What a crock. Apparently, you haven't realized that its Obama's Justice Department that's still fighting Maher Arar to deny him compensation and an apology for his extraordinary rendition at the hands of US authorities (Canada has already apologized and compensated him). If Obama adheres to "the law", then why continue the Bush Administration's legal distortions in favor of kidnapping and torture?
Obama is a liar, like all politicians. Consider yourself a fool.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Obama is not kidnapping & torturing, that was Bush, Dolt. It was also Bush who enacted the ex post facto laws that Obama is adhering too.
Read BEFORE asking stupid questions to try to make a point.
Maybe because he can't fire the lawyers or even reassign them because of current litigation by the lawyers Bush fired. Honestly IDK why Obama is continuing the police state tactics of his predecessor and it bothers me quite a bit. But it was the SCOTUS that ultimately made the Arar decision.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
A law is a law until it's not. The failure is by the Repubs for enacting such and the SCOTUS for allowing it. And obviously you for not realizing it.
Show us the section of the Constitution that provides for signing statements which are the same as line item veto, just renamed, which the SCOTUS has ruled as improper.
You've earned your name quite well and truly here, Dolt.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Admit it, you argued that Obama was blameless for adhering to ex post facto laws without knowing the Constitution (Art. 1, Sec 9.) specifically bans them. As an attorney, Obama should know better.
As for my nick, you have no idea where "Blood of Patriots" comes from, do you? Talk about ignorance. Take your head out of Obama's ass and go to the library.
I know, books intimidate you. Ask the nice librarian for a picture book about Thomas Jefferson. Pick up one on grammar, too.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
No, as my argument states, I advised you that the GOP is anti Constitution
That wanting to be right all the time can be a severe handicap when talking with someone who is smarter than you because we know when you're making shit up to be self serving
I doubt that Jefferson ever uttered the words BloodyPanties in public. Talk about living in ignorance, quit sniffing your own ass & take a look around you. Stupid people talk about things that they don't understand constantly. Like you & Jefferson
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Both the GOP and Democratic Party are anti-Constitution. Big government violates states' rights in determing what is best for their citizens. Your lame ad hominem attack is amusing.
As for Thomas Jefferson, he said: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
You still haven't admitted that Obama's adhering to ex post facto laws is unconstitutional. This is the problem with Obammites like you, your "Dear Leader" can do no wrong.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Stupid people are easily amused.
And you still won't admit that enacting ex post facto laws is unconstitutional. What's your point?
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Actually, intelligent people are easily amused by stupid people who believe they're intelligent. Especially when a stupid person finds a way to argue that making an ex post facto law is illegal but enforcing an ex post facto law is not.
Why can't you admit that if Obama is enforcing a Bush-era ex post facto law, then he is acting unconstitutionally -- the very same charge you throw at Bush.
The point being that you're so blinded by your Dear Leader, you believe him infallible.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
You know that "I'm rubber you are glue" gambit just proves my point. Not smart enough for a pithy come back, you resort to grade school tactics.
Also, as you have dutifully pointed out, I have remained mostly silent on Obama's participation in the ex post facto enforcement, so another fail.
Although I did point out that a law is a law until it's not. It's the job of the SCOTUS to declare something Unconstitutional, not your whipping boy. Learn your checks & balances.
Then study rule of law
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Remaining silent on an issue is cowardice. As for grade school tactics, what's with this grade-school-gamer talk like "fail"? Only kids use the word "fail" as a noun. Adults use it as a verb.
Obama is an attorney. As an attorney, he knows that he can overturn Bush's "ex post facto" laws with an executive order, just as Bush did to create it. Obama's just as dirty as Bush and Clinton.
Learn the difference between Executive and Legislative powers. After you graduate from junior high.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
You just can't abuse yourself enough, apparently.
You should save your last message and read it again in a year. You'll wonder at how you contorted your arguments so much just to feel like you won. That's cowardice.
There's nothing left to discuss with you, you've hopped the teabag express to the black hole of depraved conjecture. Enjoy the ride, it's all you've got.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Consider your argument: The person that creates an illegal policy is breaking the law, but the one that follows it after him isn't.
Congratulations, you just absolved Adolf Eichmann of his role in the Holocaust since he was only following the earlier, albeit, illegal, orders created by his predecessor, Reinhard Heydrich.
When are leaving for Israel to request an apology from that nation for executing an "innocent" man under your interpretation of the "Obama Exception" to illegal laws?
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Dude, stop beating yourself up.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
If you had a rebuttal, you'd post it. If you didn't believe I had a valid argument, you wouldn't bother replying.
Since you have no rebuttal, yet cannot bring yourself to not reply, the only logical conclusion is that you've conceded the point of your argument. By adhering to an ex post facto law, Obama is violating the Constitution.
Just admit it. Your "savior" is a politician just like every other politician. They have no souls and are all self-serving. Now go drink your Flavor-Aid.

Be fair, the Democrats have had their sales pitches too. Like being the party that lifts black Americans out of poverty. What a crock. Like their sales pitch that the Fed. Dept. of Education would improve public schools. Again, a complete crock.
BloodofPatriots 2 years ago
Yeah, you're right. Under Democratic administrations blacks haven't gotten ahead...oh wait! Yes they did!
They also got ahead in moderate Republican administrations like Eisenhower and Nixon.
And of course this country had a far better Education system before the Federal Government got involved...oh wait, it didn't have any at all!
History exists.
You may be unhappy with Affirmative Action or No Child Left Behind, but that doesn't mean the positive contributions didn't happen.

Most Repubs are CINO's who say one thing then work against it.
xilefismynameasshat 2 years ago
Really? .....asshat "There are no Socialists or Communists in American politics." Where have you been? I think the amount of socialist agenda BHO and the goons on the hill have pulled over on the people of the USA is pretty good evidence. Oh, never mind the man behind the curtain. Why it is only Andy Sterns or George Soros. By no means is this health care bill socialized medicine, are you joking me?
irisojects 2 years ago
Study some history & politics. Just because your masters & the media want to call it socialism or communism doesn't make it so.
Single payer or Medicare for all is no more socialist than public works or sending a man to the moon. If you want to whine about it, you can, but if you want to put your money where your mouth is, quit flushing your toilet until you sign up for privatized sewage disposal, stop driving on our roads, & get off our internet.
Try Somalia, it's Libertarian paradise.

....ass hat Your the one whining. I should go to Somalia so you can have your workers paradise here. Sounds fun. Your roads? Our Internet?Looks like asshat has delusions of grandeur. suck it up us " okies" aren't going anywhere. Maybe Europe would appreciate your educated refinement more. Bye Bye

Yes, I'm whining about your hypocrisy, Dumb ass.

TheUncajim 2 years ago
theuncajim You mean midstream Are you a Republican? Doubt it. You are probably out of one of the last four groups I mentioned. I am sick and tired of namby-pamby Republicans. My thought no guts, no glory. Hey its about time the GOP stood-up and said thats is enough appeasement and started to man-up.
irisojects 2 years ago
Rock and Roll! Go for it! Only accept support from the rightest of the right wingers who get all their info from Fox News if you want to. You seem to think that's a lot of people. I'll give you that it's a loud group that votes, but it's a small group of people compared to the one you're casting off.
Enjoy Appalachia and losing even bigger in 2010!
Also, when has the GOP appeased anyone lately? I'm a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. Neither major party appeals to me.
TheUncajim 2 years ago
uncajim I think we are closer on the issues than you realize. I am a fiscal conservative, free market believer, and want government the hell out of my way. Do you really think this present government is going to give up power? Probably not. Well Appalachia might be an ok place now that they are giving out free cell phones. Whats free next Internet and cable TV? Socially liberal enough for you?
irisojects 2 years ago
The Federal Government is in your way? How?
Governments give up power all the time. We just have to make sure that our representatives who make up the government do as we wish. How does ceding responsibility accomplish that?
We just got done with the most disastrous 10 years (half of Clinton's last term and Bush's two) of Federal mismanagement, corruption, and cronyism. How is the GOP convincing anyone they can step in and begin fixing the damage?
They aren't. So they'll keep losing.
TheUncajim 2 years ago
Regulations, babe. Tons and Tons of them. Over site, fees and taxes. Those all get in the way. More government is never a good thing,I agree with you on that. Federal mismanagement, yes it has been epic, Will the GOP in its present state be able to fix it ?NO. They have to snap out of it and start running better candidates.
irisojects 2 years ago
So, if we get rid of *more* safety regulations like the ones that used to be in place before the housing fraud implosion we'll somehow magically improve things?
And we're supposed to not tax enough to pay for the services we require out of government? So we run up more debt? That's not a long term plan I like.
How will the GOP fix the Federal Government even if they have a "real conservative" infusion? They have had no new ideas in 10 years, and all their old ones have been proven bad.
TheUncajim 2 years ago
First paragraph in you comment. The first domino, the Community Reform act. Barney Frank and his boyfriend at Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac . Lend to who ever had a pulse. We didn't need ant stinking income verification . Mistake. Taxes are the chains on the free market economy and simply redistribution of wealth. Who wins the central government ,its all about the control. Lastly the GOP isn't the same, nope it is all about the coalitions now. You'll have to figure that one out yourself Peace out
irisojects 2 years ago
Ummm...do you mean the Community Reinvestment Act? The 1977 legislation designed to stop redlining? That caused the collapse? Please,
Every *credible* expert will tell you the lack of oversight and the hands-off approach Congress and the White house had to changing banking rules and regulations to keep up with modern borrowing practices were the real problem.
The banks were offering credit no one could really afford to everyone -and many banks outright lied to people.
TheUncajim 2 years ago
