I think it's the same chords, and a lot of these songs have underlying cameos from the designers' favorite songs. Most are Japanese but considering this is "K.K. Western" and to Japan, America is "the west", it could very well be playing on House of the Rising Sun.

It's not Japanese (why would the Japanese version of the game have credits entiely in English, or the names of the English localization staff in them?), this is what you would hear in any version.

Japanese Animalese differs from English Animalese. They make some sounds, and with every word someone says they choose a sound that looks like it. That's why it's different. But I don't think K.K. Slider has actual lyrics, he just makes random sounds that fit the music.

...so this would explain why most of the developer names credited are Japanese? And here I thought all along they rolled a translated credits screen like they do in almost all imported games. I had also assumed that an American team was needed to tweak and beta test the game before it was put on the market. Too bad I was wrong. Next thing I know, I'll find out the new AC "anime" isn't Japanese, either.

You're correct, those are Japanese names. But this TEXT isn't. These are the credits for the English version.
