  • persiapan pertujukan, walaupun masih gerimis..mereka(warga asing) ini dg profesional menggelar pertunjukannya..luar biasa..

  • this is art!doesnt matter wher it come from. art is art and it for beauty.

  • If Malaysia did this, we'd be blame for stealing Indonesian culture.. But if some other country did it, it's fine... Pffft. double standards

  • This event is done at end of South East Summer Studies Institute (SEASSI) after those students here learnt Gamelan for a couple of months as a part of the study program. Any of them in some year might be from Malaysia. Anybody is welcome to join and learn.

  • @highflyer, As you could imagine! These people appreciate art; in this case Javanesse music for the sake of art; not claiming it is their cultural heritage, as has Maysian does in the past decade. Any open minded person could see that. You sounded guilty; so probably deep in your heart & soul you knew that Malaiyian government (not the people, mind you) has been "stealing" Indonesian culture. But, hey, where in the world a thief would declared themselve as one! Peace! Reok ponorogo is Ours.

  • @krgede could you at least spell my country's name correctly. And no, there's no possible way our government, nor my people could've stolen what was already part of our own culture

  • @highflyer, Ma'af sebesar besarnya atas mispelled. Hey, YOU've been paying attention! At the "Visit Malaysia", Malaysia's did claimed that Reok Ponorogo was theirs! Salam damai . . .

  • nice, i feel like drinking javenese tea in the middle of rice field lol

  • That's a great play! I would love to meet the togok player (the guy with batik shirt) as I am learning to play gamelan as well. Which part of the States are you guys?

  • Yes, it is a great play. Thank you. They played in Madison, Wisconsin. Some of the players come from different states. I don't know where that guy comes from. You can visit Madison if you're interested and contact UW SEASSI to find out more.

  • saya salut pada mereka ini yang sangat antusias untuk memainkan gamelan jawa.
