stuart adamson my man in80, steve marriott my man in 68, both the best, stuart gets the huts/shat,etc from steve, listen to itchycoo park for one instance
Man I love this song. My dad introduced me to them, before I started getting into the new music, and even know (with my hard rock roots) I absolutely love this band. My favorite Big Country song of all time :)
Well the wee small hours expand as does the BC archive keeps up to the dawn. No enigma..pure spirit undistilled...BBC 2 Whistle Test played this as their coverage of the tour and Album, where did I put that vcr tape?, lol Stay Alive
My favourite Big Country song - thanks a million for posting this (even if the vocal harmonies are a bit dodgy at the end). Brilliant rhythm section, great guitars by Stuart and Bruce - criminally underrated in the States. Nae justice in this life! God Bless and rest you Stewart.
The Edge and Stewart were good friends, and The Edge got his core sound from Stewart, it is obvious when you listen to old U2 songs and then listen to Skids songs and you can hear the same basic tone and stereo distortion affect, then they went in their own directions.
Great fucking song, haven't heard it in probably 20 years. Sounds 10x better live than on the Seer. Wish the quality was better, this is actually one of their better live performances.
Stay Alive !

Such a great underatted band, no one knows of them here in Aus. You can't even get their cds at JBHIFI. They deserved more exposure.
