  • Gildenlow is such a wonderful vocalist, but the songs are just lacking an exceptional songwriter, also heavyness

  • @LMTR14 ...there are better songwriters than Gildenlow ??? fuck that, the man can play 23 different instruments.

  • @Dusearly yeah so can mike oldfield, but he can't write metal songs either. bad argument

  • uhh... so Daniel Gildenlow is amazing writer but can't write metal then? Yet he has a music (metal) career, how many successful rock operas and concept albums have you written and orchestrated to become the expert musician you are? sure POS isn't the heaviest band in the world, but neither is Opeth, but to say that Daniel Gildenlowe isn't an exceptional song writer is nonsense to me.

  • I really don't understand why 1 year ago I hate so much this album and now I love it and I check every live version. This album also kick ass and the song king of loss is just perfection!

  • @chenille75 Exactly the same thing happened to me. Maybe that was Daniel's retroactive psychological move when he made the Road Salts, and then we will end up loving them as much as any other album when they release new stuff ;-)

  • @chenille75 only thing is that king of loss was before....

  • @theworstexperience ... kingdom of loss... I know that you understood my first sentence...

  • bad

  • @citizen773 stop talking about ur face in this awesome music u bitch

  • I always get thirsty whenever i hear the opening. It just makes me think of running water.

  • Rap culture, consider yourself pwned.

  • @unc13chuckl3s you dont know much about rap do you?! lolz

  • Best rap song ever from a fantastic rock album!

  • Truly fan, truly metal... :) I thought people who appreciate POS were slightly less adolescent :D

Can I listen to Public Enemy, to J.S. Bach, to Pantera, to Tchaikovsky, to POS, to Charles Mingus, to Miles Davis, to EVERYTHING I WANT without asking permission to the lobby of true alcoholic marvellous really-cool amazing tough metalheads? ... my god...

  • @MrAndreaCaso That's the way its should be, damn it !!! There's so much to rescue from every genre of music, I don't see why ''purists'' think being trapped in only one of them can be any good.

  • @MrAndreaCaso penis

  • It's....bizarre..and I don't know if I like it :D

  • Must be stressful to listen to music because it make you look cool instead of simply because you like it. You have to keep searching for new bands when the old ones get too many listeners. Afterall, mainstream is so not cool.

The late George Carlin had a name for this - pretentions cocksucker.

  • Sold out band after 2002. Dig prog metal underground if you want good music folks

  • @Neueregel with "sold out" i assume u mean "their shows are always crowed and u can't buy tickets cause they are sold out"

  • @lms2720 No. I mean that they started to totally suck after Remedy Lane. Saw them in 2004 though, I have no desire to see them again. There are thousands of better bands

  • Comment removed

  • @Neueregel Then listen to bands that haven't "sold out", quit bitching, stop thinking that a band has sold out because more people listen to them, get a life, and listen to "Hooker with a Penis" by Tool for further elaboration. Thank you.

  • @FranLesPaul I am not dumb enough to listen to sTool. It's not that they are sold out, but they suck and have nothing to offer to my intellect. Of course I will dig more l underground prog music and not pseudo-prog like this, which is praised by lots of Daniel's fantards.

  • @Neueregel Oh, my apologies to the great homo novus, and his transcendence above the petty minds of mortals. I will also do my best to ignore your grammar mistakes. I speak five languages other than my native tongue myself and grammar mistakes rarely happen to me, so I assume you must speak over a few dozen and things have gotten a bit "mixed up". I can't imagine what Socrates would say if he saw a man whose ego is as big as yours, but he's dead so what does that matter, right?

  • @FranLesPaul That's what I call a reply :D

  • @FranLesPaul WOW

  • @Neueregel And there I was thinking hipsters didn't listen to prog rock. Sad, really.

  • @ShadowWolf123 of course we do listen to everything. Prog rock is not your little estate to claim Dominance in

  • @Neueregel I find it funny how you seem to miss the entire meaning of my post.

  • @Neueregel Well, I'm glad you didn't dispute being a hipster. Admittance, of course, is the first step on the road to recovery.

  • @ConsecratedOblivion I don't want to "RECOVER" anything. Though, Maybe it's time for YOU to re-open your "progressive-regressive" mind.

  • @Neueregel Apologies, I was just taking a stab at an opportunity for a joke. "Progressive-regressive"?

  • @Neueregel Also, I wanted to let you know I do agree with your earlier statement. After 2002, PoS's catalogue has declined in quality, although I have enjoyed the last three albums. BE was good, Scarsick wasn't too bad, and Road Salt One...well, it is what it is, I suppose. But they haven't done anything as good as Remedy Lane or Perfect Element pt. I, and I'm starting to fear they won't again.

  • @ConsecratedOblivion Don't worry mate, it's all about subjective taste anyway.

  • @Neueregel i don't care dude.

  • if people classify Spitfall as Rap i wonder how would they classify Disco Queen... latin carnival music maybe? D;

  • @lms2720 latin music is nothing like that, and there is no such thing as "carnival music". Bad analogy...

  • @y7u7r7i i know exactly how latin music is like, also i know about carnival music! i live in brazil afterall!

    ;]

  • i really don't get why people keep sayin that this song is some kinda rap... Why's that? As far as i'm concerned they dont have any guitars, bass or drums (ok, maybe they have drums) on Rap music...

Stop bein' silly ppl... this is purely Progressive Metal... played by the most creative and unique progressive band EVER!

  • @lms2720 This is rap. There is nothing wrong with that.

  • The lyrics in this song are really deep, and it's composed so well! Fantastic song!

  • @MrRyubusa Yeahm uhm no

  • @Parkerkun Huh? and what do you know?

  • Now when "bitch" is mundane you take the lead with "wassup ho" and let TV blur your mouth once more

    Amazing

  • The only kind of rap I like, the lyrics are just so powerful.

  • The most controversial PoS song. For me, all this experimentation is part of the PoS experience.

  • Who remembers the band Faith No More? Well... this track reminds me of them. Don't knock it, Faith No More were ahead of their time. A mix of metal and rock. Saw these guys last week when they supported Apocalyptic and have to say i was very impressed. I admire their ability to put themselves out there and dare to be versatile.

  • Ever hear of Faith No More? this is progression?

    Puhleeze... Mike Patton FTW!

  • Comment removed

  • Olastrax2 has it just right and for the life of me I cannot grasp why someone should get upset because PoS have deviated away from what you would expect of them. As someone else so rightly pointed out, what's the point in progressive rock if you aren't actually engaging in progression. I can't stand rap but this song is much more than that. Yes, it's a complete mickey-take on the whole 'hood' scene but PoS weren't so insensitive that they forgot to entertain us. This album could be their best.

  • Comment removed

  • this song reminds me of one special moment in my life... i was lying next to the person i loved the way i never loved before... such a great song for such an important situation. though the song isn't about this subject.

    thanks to PoS

  • Why is everyone complaining about the fact that it's rap and it sounds like "crap". Of course it's a rap, it's a mockery at all those "hardcore famous gangsta" rappers that are out there and pretend to be tough and from the hood; I hate the fact that most PoS fans are like "This is shit...I want the perfect element back bla bla"..stop crying, this album is amazing and the stuff you probably dont like about it YOU'RE NOT MEANT TO LIKE IT. The simple guitar and base line here are on purpose.

  • Rap? where is my song Ashes, where is the perfect element. Fuck this is not eminem this is pain of salvation. This is the perfect trick to destroy a band

  • rap+metal=shit...

  • @glawouek It doesn't sound like your very familiar with Pain of Salvation's music.

  • @glawouek - had you ever considered listening and understanding the lyrics?

  • it took a progressive band to make a rap style song that i can like....

  • @jaquegrey Dr. Dre's pretty good too.

  • awesome, love the different elements of other genres mixed in it.

I agree with hukcuck, don't be an asshole if the band is progressing, its the way music evolves.

  • @XxPouringRedRainxX

I wouldn't say this song is an example of the band progressing and people getting pissed about the change of music. The whole album is sort of playing around with different music. Daniel is just doing different things for different subjects. This song is about rappers, so it is done sort of like a rap song. Much like Disco Queen is a fun disco song. It's more of the band's album's are progressing than this song itself.

  • @Daralantan

you might not have gotten my point x)

I was trying to clarify that music evolves as bands/artists evolves/progresses.

With every album&song they release they're to evolve in musical experience.

But x) lets leave it at that, not worth bringing forth opinions/views on things here on internet, right? ;)

  • @XxPouringRedRainxX

Eh, true. I remember a lot of people got pissed and stopped liking Queensryche right after Operation Mindcrime, said that they weren't a progressive metal band because they changed. Granted that was still my favorite album of theirs.... but I found it funny when people said: "Oh they were one of the really early and first progressive metal bands, but then they stopped being progressive and were different." Haha.

  • It sounds like I put my dick in a blender and enjoyed it and then Pain of Salvation Trolled on everyone on youtube and everyone was happy (Did that make any sense? No!?!? Well I'm just trying to be like 90% of people on here.)

  • I find it hilarious that the top two rated comments on here are trying to fight musical discrimination with more musical discrimation and fighting against musical discriminators by discriminating themselves. It's all one giant circle of hypocrisy. Why not just accept that music is nothing more then music? Don't even bother to worry about genre titles, love it or hate it, and just leave it at that. Music is great in all forms. Give Joanna newsom a try. She is also amazing if you can hear it.

  • the longer the spitfaaaaaall !!!1

  • Its funny how people say things like, "This isn't like ordinary rap, its *cooler* or has more *feeling*." This song is a mockery of rap. Its suppose to sound shitty. The simplistic guitar playing is mocking the rhythm of rap. The only serious parts are the refrains. This song is mostly about its message, not the actual music, which isn't a bad thing in this context as the idea of it holds intelligence.

  • @LeeRLang

That's the most stupid comment I've read. hurr durr its not so g00d cuz it sounds liek rapz.

If you can't appreciate Spitfall musically, I pity you. It's perfectly structured and ambiented.

  • I never wrote my comment how you implied it, so I'm not sure why you tried to imply that I wrote like that. Anyways, this song is intentionally, whether you thought it was the greatest musically rapped masterpiece of all time, written as a mockery of pop rap culture. The song was written with a simple rhythm, something which most of today's pop rap musicians use. Pain of Salvation uses this to attack pop rap culture with its own ammunition, which I think they've put together brilliantly.

  • @SpaceDyeDream And to say "I pity you", Is generally very arrogant. As it makes it seem like I don't or can't posses this great musical understanding that you have. Therefore I ask you, sir, to please fuck off, and try to make a better point by not stating I did something which is just completely false, as... I d0nt r1t3 li3k th1s.

  • it sounds more like rage against the machine than some rap crap

  • Do I detect sarcasm in the chorus?

  • @marimba94 My detector is detecting mockery, confrontation, and pwnage.

  • @marimba94 Do I detect sarcasm in the whole song? :D:D

  • Yeah right!!! FUCK YOU!!! FUCK YOU RIGHT DOWN TO THE CORE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @manthisprog You know what? You're just another parental advisory bore!

  • I listened to this last year and I didn't like it because I didn't like the vocals but now, it's like, I don't know how but I think it sounds really cool.

  • Why you people attach yourself to only one type of music men.

I can enjoy the true metal, (trash, black and others). But I can also enjoy rap, and grunge, and jazz, and opera, and electro house, and so long...

I can understand the essence of a band like pain of salvation, its clear a band with musicians with various tastes.

So enjoy it. If you don't, listen your favorite CD's and live the rest to the truly fans.

  • To be entirely honest, when I first heard Scarsick I was a little iffy but anymore I really fail to see why this album seemed so horrible to so many people.

  • The best bands are the ones that don't fit in one particular genre, and keeps pushing their boundaries technically and musically wise. Pain of Salvation is undoubtly one of those bands.

  • The difference between this and rap is that this has actual instrumentals. It's not just a guy rapping with a base line and--maybe--a synthesizer in the background. This has musicians playing instruments. I know, weird right? You'd have thought that rap artists would start doing that...too complicated perhaps?

  • @GrantPwnsLee exactly. I hate listening to music that I could make in my basement with a computer and my terrible voice...

  • @GrantPwnsLee

    swapping stereotype!!!!

  • @GrantPwnsLee you're fucking dumb. please listen to underground hip hop artists such as Sage Francis, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, MF DOOM, MF Grimm, and many others. Atmosphere even has a touring band for fuck's sake, with a drummer, guitarist and keyboardist. Shad is a rapper who often performs while playing guitar along with his beats. Sage Francis has performed with people playing flutes and violins. Please do not ever judge hip hop based on 'Lil Wayne videos you saw on MTV.

  • @GrantPwnsLee You say that like its something amazing...were you under a rock when Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and just about every other generic nu metal band emerged in the 90's - early 00's?

  • @GrantPwnsLee - so what? So they use real instrumets, but the core of the song is the same. This IS rap. In fact, this is a classical diss track only aimed at almost every single rapper, not a particular one. Does that fact make the song worse? Hell no! Listen to the lyrics - they HAD to be rapped if they were to be true.

  • @GrantPwnsLee Listen to The Chronic by DR.DRE that has people playing instruments to the songs. Oh and Straight Outta Compton by NWA. I guess a lot of rap like 90% is just a talking hack with some sample jingles.

  • @GrantPwnsLee it's also melodic, with a wide varity of tones! Just filling in ;)

  • @GrantPwnsLee Almost all of the early Rap utilized real instruments, and there are still rappers out there that still do.

  • @GrantPwnsLee

your stupid, hella stupid. this is an amazing song about MAINSTREAM rap. listen to almost any track by themselves, dalek, or most anyone on anticon, and then tell me that isn't a well written and performed piece of music.

  • @GrantPwnsLee they do do it, at concerts they usually have a studio band come in and play. Rappers acknowledge they dont use instruments, thats why they have studio musicians, Michael Jackson had Eddie Van Halen play for him, its not that they cant, rap is about poetics and words not instruments dumbass, thats why. And then you have garbage like this, a white girl with problems tryin to bust a flow, n i know mj isnt a rapper, but its pop and they use synth and bass line as well, bass by the way

  • This is just my opinion, but I think the difference between this and rap is that this has emotion. Rap lyrics do tend to be angry, but I never hear any anger in the rapping itself. I don't even really hear emotion from the good ones either. But this is just my opinion.

  • well u r half right. Not every rap song is aggressive or angry expression... There r a lot of different rap artists. Some of dem tryin to look aggressive like dmx 4 instance. There r emotion on rappers as well. Try 2 listen 2Pac - brendas got a baby. U'll C how powerful emotions there r in that song. Nowdays rap is changed... corrupted... now every1 has pussys, wheels, blings... i can't relate 2 dat. i need songs bout injustice, powerty, bad life... to dat i can relate to.

    peace bro!

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio ... and that's what we get when you listen to rap - people who can't properly use the English language.

  • Nobody's perfect bro'... I love poetry like U too, but I love rap more! I guess thath u love poetry cause there u can find proper use of English. Right?

  • I don't even know what you just said to be honest...

Actually I do - but it took longer than the .5 seconds I looked at your post to decipher it. I'm not exactly a whiz with the English language - but at least people understand what I'm talking about. Oh - and I don't really enjoy reading poetry that much - which is probably the reason why I hate rap soooo much - it's just a guy talking into the microphone usually (I'm generalizing here - but you get my point).

  • Yeah U R generalizing rap! Cause der R Rappers and wanna B rappers... And since U answerin me U can read ma shit... And I don't care 'bout proper use of English... And who can say what's proper English? In Britain U write coloUr and in USA U write color... and der r bunch of Xamples. 1 mo' thing: RAP RULZ!!! Maybe U should start listen some real rap. not those wannaB's... Oh and another thing maybe u should read poetry too. And why r u diss me afterall?

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio That's a matter of spelling, you are completely replaing words with a single letter. Well, it just goes to show that dumb people (generally) listen to rap, while intelligent people listen to PROG like Pain Of Salvation.

  • @7SethMurrant7

And what about those who listen both? r they stupid or smart? Intelligent as u said... since u r intelligent u should know that there is HUGE difference B-tween REAL RAP and nowdayz rap! Or maybe u r just another white superior specimen, proud on ur pale skin and blond hair... or shaved head maybe... the man of ur intelligence should know that u can't compare ppl and their intelligence by the type of music they listen!

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio Hahaha, now why bring racism into it by saying that I must be racist because I think that mainly stupid people listen to rap. I'll think you find you can actually compare their intelligence with the music they listen to. It requires more thinking to comprehend Between The Buried And Me and Dream Theater than it does say Ke$ha or 50 Cent, therefor more stupid people will listen to Ke$ha or 50 Cent.

  • @7SethMurrant7

well there u go! those u mentioned r NOT RAPERS!!! That's what i'm tryin to tell u all this time! u compare those wannabe's to real rappers!!!

Racism? U said it ain't me! And i can agree with u that stupid ppl will listen to 50cent... or teens at least...

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio No no, I was not talking about merely rapper's fans being dumb, I was showing you how you can tell a person's intelligence by the type of music that they listen to.

  • Comment removed

  • YO,

you're just another parental advisory bore

while you're rappin' yo shit y'all

  • @noahballs

    LOL

well u got me there! U must B smartass right?

maybe we should arrange a meeting to tell u a word or 2

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio

    lol.

im not totally against rap.. i listen to old skool stuff a bit... most of it is pretty shallow, both lyrically and musically.. still sounds a'ight tho... all the new mainstream crap is just full on shit

  • Listen to Hip Hop then.

Canibus, Immortal Technique, Joe Budden, Ill Bill, Jedi Mind Tricks and Army of the Pharaohs. That's the real shit. Not stuff like Lil' Wayne. ~.~

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio THAT. THEM. TH TH TH TH. Quit butchering the English language!

  • @anotherdrummer23

HUH? I'm butchering English language? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Maybe You should address to Your great forefathers who hunt Africans like wild animals and transport Them overseas to work on plantations like slaves! You destroyed beautiful culture of native ppl! Then U wanted to get independent from UR fathers who also speak that beautiful language. And U call ME a butcher? As far as i'm concerned we could speak on other languages too. German, Italian, Ruski, Srpski, Hrvatski...

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio I'm just asking you to take the time to maybe type 'that' instead of 'dat.' Really don't know what slavery has to do with anything. And for the record, my forefathers lived in Poland during the years of the Southern Plantation. Immigrated 60yrs after slavery was abolished. I'm not Dutch, I'm not English. And seriously, slavery? Really? Get over it. As if Africans were the only slaves in human history......

  • @anotherdrummer23

Get over it? R U serious? The reason why i'm typin "dat", "U", "R"... is cause it's shorter! U understand what i'm tryin 2 say, so why should i type the whole word? This tube set max of characters so i'm tryin to short everything. The slavery shouldn't forget bro' nor 2 forgive!

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio You should type the whole word so that you don't come off as lazy and ignorant.

Case and point: "The slavery shouldn't forget bro' nor 2 forgive!"

    a) Grammatically, this is nonsense,

    b) I wasn't suggesting anyone forget about slavery or any other part of history,

    c) forgiveness is not yours to give (nor is it mine to accept), as you (and I) are alive generations after any wrong-doing associated with slavery. it 2010. There is a black president. Seriously, get over it.

  • @anotherdrummer23 well grammar xpert dis iz ma last post! I'm maybe lazy but about RAP i'm not ignorant. So if u wanna listen other music go and listen. My point wuz Old school rap iz NOT this shit kids listenin. My right iz 2 write how I WANNA!!! If U undastend me cool, if not it's UR prob!

Slavery WASN'T AND ISN'T NONSENSE!!! If U R God so U CAN give 4giveness than 4give me 4 i have sins... I'm glad U Finally HAVE a man such is Obama!

    Old school rap RULZ!

    Peace!

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio See, what's really funny to me is that I can piece together your gibberish and figure the point your trying to make. But you being as ignorant and lazy as you are, you can't seem to grasp much of what I'm trying to get across to you. You and I weren't debating rap, you can listen to a bunch of clicks and whistles if that works for you. We were discussing GRAMMAR!! Then you tried to blame me for slavery.... Anyway, have fun reinforcing negative stereotypes, "dawg"

  • @anotherdrummer23

Engleski nije moj maternji jezik pajseru! Što se gramatike tiče nikad je nisam ni znao, a uostalom pun mi je kurac vas sveznalica američkih. Sve vi najbolje znate, a posle vam kriv kurac što vam stopa kriminala ode u nebesa!

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio See, I might have been more understanding if you had told me English was a second language. I'm not a know it all, bro. I know English, hate seeing it destroyed by the modern Rap culture......

  • @anotherdrummer23

I'm against modern rap culture too. And now U know that (dat :D ) english ain't my first language. All i was saying is that Old school rap is good as any other music (r'n'r, pop, metal, blues, HC...) These days rap become mainstream and is good for nothing... there r some good rapers but u can't C them on tv that much... So English language is destroyed by lingo, but rapers r NOT the only who r destroying it!

    Sajsi Racku

  • @CaiusScriboniusCurio Well, something there was lost in translation...... One thing to keep in mind, is that America is not a true democracy. I have no interest in the Middle East. I think the US government needs to focus on domestic issues before trying to police the globe. Most Americans do not approve of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I only asked that you don't use e-bonics.

  • @anotherdrummer23

Well something really was lost in translation :) After i used my language U understand me... funny... I use e-bonics because i LOVE RAP! So that were stronger than me, i always use that lingo... I'm glad that there r smart ppl at USA like U. I Hope You and ppl that have the same opinion like u gonna change the global police attitude of USA!

    Peace!

  • @anotherdrummer23 I agree, but I would go even further. I don't think that a true democracy exists. In a true democracy you should ask the people that elected you if they want to spill their blood on foreign soil oceans away. In my opinon the only war that should be fought is when defending the safety of your families. This would either be a defense or an offense like WWII. It looks like everyone wants to close their eyes when the threat is as real as that, but warring in small countries is ok.

  • Best 5 of my live

  • GENIOUS =O

  • This is progressive metal

  • I know, I just felt like posting that. haha

  • It reminds me of a band from HK.

    check out LMF - fly

(surely, they cannot compete with PoS)

  • This is ... SPARTAAAAAA!!!!

  • the greatest thing you will ever hear.

  • its not rap u faggot!

  • ya it kinda is

  • This album is great. I love the double irony of using rap to insult rap and 4:56 onward just sounds epic. One of my favorite prog bands and I can't wait for their next release.

  • I'm from Italy, can you help me?

what "The longer that you fought yourself up, the longer the spitfall" means?

    expecially this word,"spitfall".TNX

  • @stefo213 They sing "the longer the spit fall" in two words i´ m pretty sure! And i guess it´ s a methaphore for rapping a lot of nonsence or something like that! : )

  • I find it hilarious, in an ironic way, that proge fans get all upset when a proge band's style progresses (even momentarily) away from "standard proge". Because, you know, progressive music isn't about weird time signatures and long, complicated songs, but about, you guessed it: progression.

  • @Mustahukkak I agree - but this song is "long" and has a non-usual time signature, so your argument is not really well-defined.

  • Totally agree dude! Lyrics are top on this album. And seriously ppl, you will NOT regret it.

  • This may be the begin of an era where pop music is so poor that good bands need to make songs to contradict it (ever seen this in history?)

At least, Pain of Salvation is on the "good" side

  • I don't mind them doing this style, but that chorus is a lil lame. if it's quality I'll like it, like Scream by Chris Cornell, I liked it cause his songs didn't go weak like that. they were more convincing than this song at least. damn

  • Anyone notice the "yo" at the end? haha

  • well Linoleum is a step up from Scarsick which I enjoyed in its own right. But POS is much more than this. Daniel showed it many times..So I can't wait for Road Salt.

  • I know it sounds funny for first blink, but George Michael said the same in his song "Star people" and that's maybe from 1997... Hell donnow, not sure about the date. Anyway, I prefer Pain of Salvation :))

  • Actually this song is not against hip-hop artists /"stupid niggers"/, rather those bands like Linkin Park and crews, which still belongs (as a style) to metal and hard music. Rich daddy's boys who complain with guitars or "their hands on a scratch" 'coz of their hard lives n millions of teenagers listen to and follow them. That's why we can say this song is a bit "nu-metalish", coz it's a mocker. A satire or squib, as you like.

  • Anyone else a little worried about what you've heard about the new album? DG said it would be a throwback to 70s prog style. I want more deep music that really makes you think, like that on Scarsick. I hope he hasn't read all the hate comments and gotten the idea that his real fans hated Scarsick..

  • No. It's gonna be good, don't worry about it.

  • this song is so awesome and the lyrics are so true, from the start to the last word

  • these lyrics are brilliant and true to every last word

  • Dude's got some nice flows foreal.

  • Great song!

  • PoS is my favourite progressive metal band. Its like every song of them has a deep purpose to be appreciated from an eclectic point of view. This album is not the best of them, it sometimes gets subjective. And the lyrics, albeit well applied and wrote, get too much confusing. Oh well, nice try to perform a parody.

  • tomnavel...I am from germany, so what is you point? What do you refer to?

I like Pain Of Salvation and I can not find any links to the song and being german apart from the car labels...

The message of the song of course can be used for describing a dictator, but I think the message is universal and can fit politicians, musicians, celebrities of all kind, maybe beginning with a school yard bully "star" or whatever... I might understand it wrong, so please tell me what you mean...
