@xxboxermanxx Sometimes it's possible to create a character without fleshing out the entire story until the game is finished. For example it was already known by Capcom they wanted her to have an old boyfriend who alegedly died in court but did'nt know how they were gonna introduce him as we know Godot today.

Story is about playing with peoples emotions. Mia had to die in order for you to believe in the Kurian Channeling Technique. Mia's death forces you to get to know anyone related to her.

@erickgm15 I think to some degree you have a point, if you take the whole Godot plot out of the story, the cases aren't necessarily as compelling on their own. But this game seems to be more serious than the first two, it doesn't make as much a point of laughing at itself.

To me both JFA and T&T's cross examinations are good stand alone songs, but I don't think they really fit into the game. AA's themes are more "trial" like than the other games.
