Well she isn't saying much. There is always injustice everywhere. There's obviously a lot of it in Israel vs. Palestinians. That said, the Palestinians are mostly free to manage their own affairs in the PA controlled territories and they are prospering there and there could have been peace if Arafat and the PLO wanted it. This is not Israel's doing that this injustice exists, even though Israel is the one who has a strong army. The Palestinians don't want peace - they want dominance.

As an editor and publisher of Holocaust poetry, I agree with Ora Wise. We should weep for what has happened to millions of completely innocent Palestinian women and children. Anyone who doubts her should study what great humanitarians and men of peace like Einstein (a Jew), Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Jimmy Carter have said on the subject. Please do a Google search for "Nakba index" and listen to the Nobel Prize winners who agree with Ora Wise. Study can be enlightening.

Good for you, Ora. I'm an editor and publisher of Holocaust poetry. For many years I supported Israel without studying the "facts on the ground." But one day, as I worked with Jewish Holocaust survivors, poets and translators, I suddenly had the intuition that what they were telling me about the Palestinians was wrong. When I studied the facts independently, thinking for myself, it became clear that the Palestinians were the victims of ethnic cleansing and apartheid. Racism is wrong!

@jerseygrl5 You are absolutely wrong about the numbers. The entire Israeli defence budget is around 60bn ILS which is around 15 bn USD. The entire US defence aide to Israel is ~ 5bn/year and this is in-fact a subsidy to the American defence industry since Israel is bound by contract to spend this money in buying specific weapons from the US. It's not a give-away in the strict sense. It's a roundabout subsidy. One that Israel can do very well without. It would only increase taxes by 1%.
