Custom Text sounds/ringtone for ipod touch

This works for ever app ! I used it on my Facebook messenger app and now when I get a message I get the sound of my liking I will post video if someone would like me to going step by step on how to do it

With long songs(more than 30-40seconds), it will never work! HOWEVER, if the song is less than or equal to 30-40 then your file WILL WORK!!! d(^_^)b

Cydia doesn't have that many songs tho. I want a song that's called oh my by dj drama with fabulous rosco dash and wiz Khalifa. Do I have to use cydia to get that righting or can I use something else. But good CID thanks for the help

okay for some ppl who said that the file wouldnt play.. try converting you sound clip with the "switch sound file converter" and convert the file to ".aiff" format then just change the extension to ".aif" on your pc and that should work. im sorry i couldnt help you guys with troubleshooting it cause i didnt have a jailbroken device but i am going to jailbreak again so i can help u guys out!

@Zomb1eX im sorry my ipod is no longer jailbroken so i cant help you with the trouble shooting but most likely if the sound cant even be played then the sound file wasnt converted correctly. sometimes the sound plays sometimes it doesnt you just gotta mess with converting it to get it to work since its a like specific file format

@blazedapple Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Its just a matter of your ipod playing it. If changing the extension doesnt work you can download: "Switch Sound File Converter" for free and convert your ringtone to .aif then once you have converted it then change the extension to .caf And that should work

@thescream22 You can just change the file extension. On your computer open up FOLDER OPTIONS and under the VIEW tab uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" then edit your mp3 file and replace ".mp3" with ".caf"

You can use cydia but I used a mp3 song. Which I converted to .caf you have to make sure that the sound you are replacing is the same file extension as the other one. In this place textplus used .caf sounds.
